The welcome was fine, but I think due to covid and low activity there is limited staff inside the hotel. Fantastic stay at the lovely Rocase serviced apartments. The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated. The service was impeccable, extremely polite and they even spoke English! They couldn't have been more helpful. The food at the buffet was good, though it's a small selection (as it is a boutique hotel, it's small in size). I would suggest perhaps varying a couple of small things in each day just to offer variety - even just the addition of another jam or cereal as well perhaps (although that's a very foreign thing). The restaurant staff were so lovely and went to all the trouble to take coffee orders, offer freshly made omelettes or wonton soup etc. one more suggestion for the serviced apartment would be to provide basic cutlery/plates in the room. There are wine glasses and tea making things, which is great, but no wine opener and nothing to put food on. Though if I was staying for more than a few nights I would buy my own, it's cheap. The location is fantastic, super close to Nanchang walking street, which I really enjoyed wandering around! Overall, great stay.

I decided to go to Wuxi on the spur of the moment on New Year’s Eve. After comparing several hotels, I finally chose theirs! Sure enough, there is nothing wrong! Excellent location: The hotel is located in the center of Wuxi, with the subway across the road. The hotel is only a five-minute walk to Suning, Yaohan, Sanyang Plaza and Hang Lung (you can check in to the Internet celebrity toilets)! It takes 10 minutes to walk to Donglin Academy and Xiaolou Lane! It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Nanchan Temple and Nanchang Street, or take a taxi for 8 or 9 yuan! A taxi ride to Yuantouzhu costs around 37 yuan. Basically, the hotel is very convenient for going to all the major attractions in Wuxi! We basically take a taxi because it’s not convenient to park anywhere during the Chinese New Year! 33 Hotel facilities: I was originally worried that the hotel might be too old, but it turned out to be no problem at all. We booked an executive suite with a great view on the 25th floor! The 2 rooms do not interfere with each other! The room is atmospheric, clean, and has no smell 3. The bathroom 🚽 is very functional! Unexpected hahaha! The breakfast located on the 28th floor of the hotel is great! And there was no crazy price increase during the Chinese New Year! Excellent value for money! Service attitude: We arrived in the evening, and the housekeeper Xiaoquan was very considerate. He gave us small pastries, and also gave us very festive red masks and trinkets for the Chinese New Year! The kids like it very much! They even helped us fold our clothes when cleaning the next day! The staff answered all our questions and any small requests we made were met immediately! Thank you so much! Overall, the trip of three days and two nights was fine. 333, super five-star recommendation!

This hotel is in an excellent central location near public transport links. There is plenty around it. It stands out as a budget hotel that takes pride in offering a service beyond that normally expected of a budget hotel. The rooms are just the right size and well designed. There is a very good shower which, unusually for a hotel, does not leak. The soaps and shampoos are nice. The towels are very good for a hotel in this price range as is the linen on the comfortable beds. There are blackout curtains and the rooms are quiet. I liked the way there were four bottles of water (and I was given another at checkout). The staff were helpful and pleasant, including a couple of the cleaning staff who I met in the corridor. I will not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Wuxi. Minor issues were the lack of a fridge (I like cold water) and a bizarre room numbering system. For example 8512 in on 5F. I'm not sure what the 8 is for.

I am a coffee lover who needs a cup of coffee after breakfast, so having a coffee machine at the entrance of the restaurant, beside the reception, is a big bonus! I stayed for 3 nights, and hot meals on breakfast menu, such as porridges, fried vegetables and baozi, were slightly different every day. So, it was not repetitive, having some changes every morning. I really enjoyed the breakfast. I stayed in a Queen Room and I have found that it was very clean and comfortable.

The old InterContinental has outdated facilities but good service. The front desk also provides free room upgrades. I like the location very much. Taihu Square is just downstairs and very close to museums and libraries. It's still quite far away from Nanchang Street. It takes more than ten minutes by bike and it's very quick to take a taxi. The hotel's swimming pool and gym are very good! Turning down is too early, after six o'clock haha! Stayed for five nights. The breakfasts for the first four days were very good. There were Huishan crispy cakes, small wontons and Wuxi steamed buns, which are local specialties. Western-style breads are relatively weak, including puff pastries. There is only one European bun for freshly baked bread. A baguette. There are quite a variety of cheeses and cheeses. I don’t know what happened to the breakfast on the fifth day. There might be a meeting or something. It was very noisy. At 8:30, a lot of food was gone. It's as small as a mineral water bottle cap... There isn't even a tea bag on the water table... I hope it's just an accident. By the way, points cannot be given to Intercontinental members when booking on Ctrip, so members should consider it themselves.
