Radisson Blu Hotel, Tromso

Tromso|0.11km from Tromso Domkirke
Tromso is super beautiful, and the hotel's location is the best in Tromso. Just walk to the port for the cruise🛳️. Participating in activities such as Aurora Chasing and Whale Watching🐳 are gathered near the downstairs of the hotel. You can see four ”Jinjiang Hotel” in Chinese at the entrance of this hotel, which is very friendly. Try to book a superior sea view room as it will be much larger and have two windows. The room is relatively new and the bathroom has a high water pressure in Northern Europe. For chain brands, there is basically no problem. For superior rooms on the 10th floor, you need to take the elevator to the 9th floor and then transfer to the elevator to go upstairs. You can see the super beautiful scenery of Tromso through the window in the room, and you can take pictures at will. The last picture (No. 12) was given to the wrong room by the front desk at the beginning. The ordinary room is really very small. After entering the bathroom, you can climb up to the window sill and sleep. It feels like sleeping on a bed on the window sill. The little German girl at the front desk was very communicative. After looking at the room, she told her that the room type was wrong. She gave her the Ctrip reservation number. She found that it was indeed wrong. I didn’t know if there were more Chinese people. She used my name at first. I checked the reservation and found out that there were two people with the same name, which was really a mistake. But it was handled quickly and I was very satisfied with the new room immediately. The double-window sea view is really great! Recommended! Radisson Blu also has an activity registration point. Just turn left when you exit the hotel lobby. The price of on-site registration is about the same as that on the Get Your Guide app on your mobile phone. You can inquire about it, and the app is also convenient! Tromso is worth visiting! This Radisson is worth staying at, and it can be regarded as supporting the Jinjiang Group of our country~ Recommended!

The place is really great, just at the centre of Tromsø, next to the beautiful port and the bus centre; the restaurants next to the hotel are amazing as well. My breakfast was included, and I really enjoyed the breakfast, lots of choice with great flavors! Strongly recommended!!!

Very nice hotel with fantastic staff. It's a modern hotel and sort of designed like a ship. It's located right on the waterfront - make sure you get one of the corner rooms that feesl like it juts out into the harbor and has great views of the water, the comings and goings of the ferries and the not-so-distant peaks. The rooms are somewhat on the smaller side but very nicely appointed and quiet. The breakfast spread is perfectly fine. But a special shoutout to the checkin staff - Johannes and Torkel - both of whom were courteous, friendly and really helpful.

The service exceeded expectations, and the front desk staff was very enthusiastic and willing to provide additional help. The cabin is very warm, clean and tidy as typical of Northern Europe, fully equipped for cooking, and will stay there if you have the opportunity

The best way to describe this hotel is average in every way. Everything in Tromso is ”central” - it's not a big place so that isn't really a selling point. The rooms are very small (even the ”deluxe” ones) and there are only two elevators for a pretty sizable 8 story hotel so get ready for the stairs. I paid extra to be on the 8th floor because I read the reviews about the nightclub underneath and boy they were right - I could hear thumping well into the night so bring your earplugs (the club appears to only be open Thursday - Saturday so if you're travelling outside of that, I'm sure it's more tolerable to try to sleep). Hindsight being 20/20, I would've paid $30-40 more to stay at one of the better rated hotels.

The hotel could not be in a better location for exploring Tromso and provides very good value. It was easy to travel to and from the airport (although we admittedly got a short taxi) and visit the sights (including getting a bus to the Arctic Cathedral). The room was small, but great value for what we had paid. We were mainly using it as a base in between trips and sightseeing, so it did the job nicely. We had twin beds, a desk and chair, an armchair and a long mirror. The bathroom was also very good - there was always hot water and the shower offered a good water pressure, making it easier to wash your hair after being caught in a snowstorm! The breakfast buffet offered a great selection of food, including my favourite - brown cheese. I would be happy to stay there again.
