Stay from 3 to 21 April as a couple. Superior room with ocean view. The room is not big but cozy, everything is thought out, cleaning is regular. The food is of high quality, but spicy Sri Lankan food prevails. Lots of fruits, meat, fish, grilled seafood. The beach and ocean are gone.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Villa Hotel in Trincomalee. The breathtaking lagoon view from the hotel is simply mesmerizing; it felt like I was in a paradise. The ambiance was serene and relaxing, making it a perfect escape from the city hustle.The food was a delightful journey of flavors. The diverse menu catered to various tastes, and every dish was a burst of authentic culinary expertise. From local delicacies to international cuisine, every meal was a treat for the taste buds. The service truly stood out. The staff members were incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Villa Hotel offers a seamless blend of stunning views, delectable food, and top-notch service. If you're looking for a tranquil getaway with excellent hospitality, this is the place to be. We planned our trip to Sri Lanka so that we could start with a few days at the beach, somewhere in nature, where there would be a lot of peace and good accommodation conditions. Although February is in the off-season for the eastern area, we chose the northeastern area precisely for peace and nature. We found the Uga Jungle Hotel, which matched the description of what we wanted. After a five-hour journey from Colombo, we arrived very tired early in the morning, although our accommodation officially started at 2 pm. We were received very nicely and after breakfast we were accommodated. After recovering we discovered one of the most beautiful five star hotels where we have stayed so far. The resort is located in a lagoon area, surrounded by a lagoon jungle, just like you see in the exotic movies. I appreciated the way it was built to protect the nature around it. The room was huge, very well maintained and with quality finishes. The cleaning is exemplary, it is cleaned twice a day. The bathroom is huge, 10-12 m long, equipped with absolutely everything you need. The view from the room does everything, with a direct opening to the lagoon where you can admire from the terrace different species of birds (don't worry, there's no danger around it :)). The food was excellent and varied, it is worth trying every dish on the menu. The chef is excellent and deserves all the praise. The atmosphere was very pleasant, all the staff showed a very good professional training. They are extremely kind naturally, without being intrusive. The beach is very clean, unfortunately I could not enter the water due to the very big waves of this period. We set out to repeat this experience with family and friends in one of the months of the season next years. Nice pool, very close to the beach

The room is large, there is a balcony, and the food is delicious, the location is a bit biased, there are many insects in the garden, several swimming pools. I stayed for one night and left. There is a little beach behind, it is very comfortable to lie down.

Like Trincomalee, this homestay is a bit difficult to find, there are few rooms, and it is still under construction, but the room is large, facing the sea, very quiet, very suitable for a daze. I am very diligent and change different venues every day to set up meals. I like this fish steak and pasta
