This was our second trip to Japan within the past 5 years. Previously, we stayed at a budget hotel which was cramped and small compared to American hotels. For this reason, we decided to splurge and I'm so glad we did. Splurge on the deluxe room if you value space and comfort. It not only made a huge difference, but it made our stay even better. The deluxe room comes with a walk- in closet, huge bathroom, and the room itself was big enough for a King bed and sitting area with a couch and chair. The staff provided excellent customer service at all times. The hotel is not that close to a train station so be wary of that, especially if you have heavy luggage. Also, this hotel is huge and navigating it takes time before you know where to go and how to get to the area's local restaurants and train stations. The hotel grounds have a beautiful Japanese garden with waterfall which rivals some parks. The only criticism I have about our stay is dining. As do all hotels, this one charges a huge price to dine on-site. You have access to local restaurants that are within walking distance for half the price. If you want to save money do a little research online and dine off-site. There are plenty of options around the area.

My husband and I recently stayed 4 nights at The Kitano and overall we really enjoyed our stay. A few pros, the room was clean and larger than expected. The hotel only had 4 floors so it gave a boutique feeling in the heart of the city. The staff was friendly, especially at breakfast (but felt like they could have helped a bit more when trying to find dinner, which was a bit difficult for us). Worth mentioning, the location was a little far from the sights and not on the JR loop so we had to take the regular subway which took a little extra planing and time. The general area didn’t have many good restaurants so plan ahead. Even though we enjoyed our stay but as tourists we would probably select a different location next time.

Stayed for four nights in a double room ( remember to check ...There are rooms for females only as well, by mistake had booked one for our trip and the staff was kind enough to change it for a couple stay). Room is small with a window overlooking the street outside, 7/11 just beneath, duty free donki store just a short walk. 10mins walk from the metro station, another nearby metro station as well but that is another line. We used both during our Tokyo trip. Neighborhood is extremely lively...Great many bars ( they have seating charge), a pizza place next door just ask the reception for the restaurant suggestions, we had the best sushi, Kobe beef etc . But our best find is an Indian restaurant closely called Swagat just about 15-20min walk for the cheapest, heartiest and flavoursome Indian set lunch. Best thing about the hotel is their onsen(separate timing for women and men) must experience it. Loved our stay.

The atmosphere of the single room and the photo provided by the business is not bad. Picture 3 shows the breakfast that comes with it, and you can go to the first floor to get it at will. After staying in so many five-star hotels, the store is very satisfied, very clean and orderly. I have never been able to experience the capsule hotel, this is really good. But in order to sleep well, still bring your own earplugs. Although everyone is more vocal than speaking, there is always a voice in and out. The luggage is downstairs and sleeps upstairs. Anyway, I said it is not bad! There is a very good cafe downstairs. The sleeping warehouse is very clean and comfortable. Our stay met and exceeded our expectations! It was our first time in Tokyo as a family of 6 (with kids and a person with disabilities). We stayed in a corner family suite on one of the higher floors. The view was just gorgeous. The suite was amazing! It was spacious, clean, and comfortable! The hotel is located a few blocks from two subway stations and a short few blocks from the beautiful Hie Shrine. The neighborhood becomes very lively at night when business people are out and about. There’s a ton of great restaurants and convenient stores around the hotel. There’s an onigiri shop down the street that is just delicious. Very convenient location. The staff were so kind, courteous, helpful, responsive, and accommodating. They stood up and greeted us every time we walked by the lobby. They coordinated taxi pick up and drop off for our family as well. Days before our stay, the hotel staff contacted us to confirm our flight arrival time and projected arrival at the hotel. Everything about this hotel was just fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel especially for families and those with disabilities. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
