Nestled in an enviable location, this hotel has rightfully earned its popularity among locals. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a team of amiable staff who extended a warm welcome. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, and we highly recommend trying the in-house nasi goreng. The spacious rooms, while lacking in some amenities, were otherwise comfortable. However, we did notice a slight odor of dampness and dust that was slightly unpleasant. One minor quibble we had was with the lighting - the dimming lights were not strong enough to provide sufficient illumination, especially after sunset. Additionally, we were disappointed to find only one pair of slippers provided in the room despite booking for two guests in each of our two rooms. Was this a cost-cutting measure? Our biggest issue arose when we arranged for the hotel's car service to take us to the airport upon departure. The driver first dropped off our parents at the domestic terminal, but it wasn't until later that he informed us of an additional charge to take us to the international terminal - despite the short distance between them. We had already paid a premium for the hotel's chartered car service, and it was disappointing that the driver did not disclose this additional charge upfront. While we understand the importance of profit margins, we believe it's essential to prioritize transparency and honesty with guests. Overall, this hotel was a decent choice for the price we paid. Despite the minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

Acceptable standard as a HIExpress. Room is average size, bathroom a little small and towels looking a little tired. Got a lousy view though, looking out to a roof with ladder for workers to climb to the water tank. Had to draw the curtain most of the time. Breakfast was better than the usual grab-and-go, which they also provide beside the buffet spread. Customer service from the staff was good. All very polite. Laundry facilities was pay per use. Some meeting rooms available. Easy to call ride hailing.

This new hotel is located on heart of Surabaya city. The hotel is clean, comfort and the hotel staffs is really friendly and helpful. There's a lot of 24hours fastfood chain restaurants, street food vendors and convinience stores around the hotel. It takes only 5 minutes walk to TUNJUNGAN PLAZA (one of the biggest mall in Surabaya) The room is not so spacious but it clean and comfort. Luckily, I got room on 16th floor, so it has a beautiful cityscape of Surabaya too. The food was okey, breakfast buffet has a several choices of local food. And the restaurant looks modern and cozy enough. You will get a lot of smiles from the hotel staffs while you stay. And they very helpful too. And sure, I will be back to this hotel.

very comfy, i booked for deluxe but there were no room available so my room was upgraded, thanks to the staff for being professional and helpful. breakfast was good and quite lots of choices (western and indonesian) from pancakes, indonesian traditional food, and chinese food like fried rice etc. room was clean but can be cleaner (i found few little insects but that was actually fine for me. overall very recommended and the hotel is located in the center of the city so this one is a plus! 🤩

This hotel located at 9th floor, with VIP park in front of the lobby mall. I got free VIP parking as Hotel Guest. There is A&W Fried Chicken open 24 hours a day. I got 2 bottles of complimentary water, and can be refilled in the lobby if you want for free. For the room, it is not too small. Clean and tidy with friendly staff. Memorable experience staying at this hotel.

I really did enjoy my stay at this hotel for 4 nights. The only negative is all the mosquitos getting in lobby and room somehow. The pool needed to get swept more the stuff on the top. But it was still really refreshing to jump into every day. The staff are friendly with alittle English. I had a dinner at restaurant which was delicious just abit pricy compared to street food. I reccomend, just bring insect repellent. Price I got was pretty cheap for the big sized room.

This was my second time staying in Ibis Tidar Surabaya. This time I stayed with my colleague for almost a week. Room could adequately accommodating for 2 person. Bathroom quite spacious for Ibis family. I love their bathroom, it was unlike other Ibis that I have stayed, that it feels you're taking a shower in a capsule. The flat TV was super big! Inside the room you will get a mini fridge to keep your beverages chilled. You will have a safe deposit box to keep your valuable things. The aircon is clean and cold, the hot water also nice. One of the best element of this hotel is ... their breakfast! Super love! Variety was okay but do not under estimate the taste! Best breakfast ever for Ibis Family! They change menu day by day and never failed me. I love to sip their hot tea in the morning by the window with the sunlight. Location wise is perfect if you need to stroll around Tunjungan Plaza area. It is easy as well to find meal outside the hotel. Just take a 5 mins walk and you will find a street full of food! Since the lobby drop off is quite small, tell you cab driver to drop you by the street, you could easily walk though the left pedestrian provided by the hotel ;)

Maxone is a group of hotels in local Indonesia brand. It is chic,simple and in minimalist style. Suitable for youngster that like effective space concept in the design. The hotel has same design in the whole Indonesia. I stayed at this inexpensive hotel for three nights and it was great. The location is in the center with Tunjungan Plaza huge mall just five minutes walk. A lot of eateries nearby. Tidar road is not a big road but also busy with traffic. The lobby is not huge but have space to sit. The hotel is compact and the lighting is not too bright. There is free wifi although not great. The bathroom is small and the shower cubicle has fold-able chair to sit while having rain shower. Toilet amenities is complete with tooth brush, comb, ear cotton etc. Free coffee kettle and two bottles of complimentary water everyday. As you have the option for breakfast as I don't take it then I can't comment about the taste. At 7th floor there is a sky lounge to enjoy drinks and life music during dusk until midnight. Considering the location and price this is the best option to stay at Maxone Hotel during your stay at Surabaya. Public transportation is not really happen in Surabaya, but you can use the environment friendly ”Suroboyo Bus” (pay by exchanging used plastic bottle). This bus will stop in front of JW Marriott hotel then walk straight through the traffic light and you will arrive at Maxone hotel.

I would like to thank you for the great stay i had at your hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. I arrived around 12 p.m and i was greeted by a very friendly staff member. Mr.Asad (Receptionist Staff) was one of a very helpful, polite and fast to respond.What a very good job. The room was fantastic, it was great to be able to walk into a clean, spacious room and go straight to bed without worrying about a thing (Thankyou for the housekeeping team). Breakfast choice was fantastic. Recommend the traditonal foods. Will stay again for my business trip next time..cheers.
