Jan 2024 at superior room. CONS 1) inside room have lots have mosquitoes 2) got pool but no water inside 3) to us main problem is food stall are deserted. You have a villa at ulu place, in the centre of forest, farm, cemetery with no public transport or taxi in/out of villa yet, the food stall here are not in operation. Their 555 thai, burger and satay stall only operate 5pm - 3am which is very different from google stated. Google stated 8am. So those staying in villa just eat maggie mie for your breakfast and lunch to wait for 5pm. 4) small room eventhough its superior room. Only fit 2 person max. Car pouch door not working. Balcony is link with the next door so kind of no privacy. 5) aircon temperature not able to adjust. Is either you on for too cold or you off for too hot. PROS 1) one of the cheaper chalet/villa compared to others. 2) i received my soap eventho the review given saying they didnt get one so maybe i was lucky. 3) cheap in prawning 4) cheap in steamboat. Btw for 555 thai they only have steamboat. No seafood no nothing. Just steamboat at $14 per person. Prices is okok but not much variety to choose for the steamboat. Just hotdog, tofu, beef, some veg. Overall for i think to attract more people to the resort, they need to fix their food stall. You open at 5pm die la no food for breakfast.

Gallop kranji farm resort. An escapade from the modern city life. Indeed. Totally reminds me of outfield back in NS. The endless breed of mosquitos, no facilities, no maintenance. Just greens. And greens I am talking about the thick green algae in the pond filled with smelly water sitting right at the prawning shop that is deserted. Alongside a closed down thai restaurant. Accompanying with the sensational stench of horse manure. If not why do you think its called gallop huh?! Enough about the environment, now lets gallop into the main dish - service As it was a surprise birthday party for myself, but I heard that the BBQ pit cost 50$? For that size? My house's wok also as wide as your pit. What frustrate me the most is the attitude from the management. We are accused of damaging their property - sofa bed and a crack in the wall. 1. You asked how many sat on the sofa bed at once, we said 3. You replied definitely more than that?! 2. The cracks is at the dead end corner of the room beside the bed. What business do we have there to inflict damage? And you replied it was there after we left?! Yes I admit we have a rather big group that day. But that doesn't mean ALL OF US WILL FREAKING SIT ON THE SOFA BED AT ONCE. COMMON SENSE! Your accusation only suggests that you admit the resort is so tiny and the chairs so limited that the guests have nowhere to sit. So fast forward, you offered 2choices - pay up 100$ for damage OR get blacklisted. We chose the latter and was catergorised as being uncharacteristic. If you cant accept, dont offer in the first place. And you also admit that the furniture is of subpar quality? I am wondering if you accuse everyone after they check out and get that extra 100$ or deem them uncharacteristic as well? LOL Well, being blacklisted there is never a regret but a happy ending. As never in the lives of those who came will occur to them to visit the 2nd time. It was with great pleasure and luck that I survived the night and managed to write this review. To all my fellow singaporeans and friends from around the world, DO NOT visit this place. I rate 1 star, not because you deserve 1. Is the system doesn't allow 0. Terrible service at the restaurant. The waitresses were so impatient. Kept pushing to place order… when we just received menu. Their hard copy menu does not have the smaller items eg. Pad Thai etc and they are not bothered to share more on what they have. Drink counter is a separate counter and billing which is fine. The same set of waitresses will go there if someone is queuing… and same very impatient and when you ask for options everything is no, cannot, we asked for ice teh, they say dun have…. in the end we jus say add ice to my teh tarik (like that they can)……… totally just not interested. Immediately after we finished our food, they came to clear the table when the restaurant is obviously just 15% full… she started cleaning and spraying on the table while we are still seated which we unfortunately have to tell her off… that it’s flying towards us… Terrible service to the max!

The rooms are okay. But small. the pool there is no water in…. and the membrane that is in the reception can not speak English. last time i asked for some toilet paper i got two buckets of shampoo. In addition, I think the service is not top notch. lack of all maintenance of all things here. it looks like it's been nice once

checked in on Friday to Sunday. We stayed in different rooms and one thing in common was the dirt... there isn’t a proper cleaning system here... other people’s hair in the room, dirty curtains with stains everywhere ! A big hole in the bed sheet... I mean, this place is in such a good location and it is so relaxing but they could atleast clean up better and provide better accommodation for the people supporting their business right ? I really do like the resort but I just cannot understand why it isn’t clean? There isn’t cleaning ladies here, it is younger guys who just pick up after the people have left... there isn’t moping and sweeping done... it’s not hygienic... especially now during Covid.... such a pity. Really. Abit disappointed because this place has so much potential to be great. There is even spider webs in the room where the kettle is placed.... I mean, you cannot let guests into a room with hair on the floor / fridge, holey bed sheet and spider webs ? I really do hope the owner or managers can see this because I really want to like this resort even more, it’s just that if it could be more cleaner and more hygienic it could be really really good.
