The Bus Collective

One of a kind experience staying in a refurbished single decker bus. Pretty amazing how much can fit into the bus and is still nice and spacious. Bus is clean except we found a half-drunk bottled drink still lying in the mini fridge which room service forgot to clear I guess. It is just a stone's throw away from the Changi Village Hawker Center so no issues with getting food, drinks & stuff, accessible via side gate. It is also a short walk to the Changi Park Beach where we can rent bicycles. A BBQ grill is provided outside every bus which is awesome, even comes equipped with a sink so its really great! BBQ stuff can easily be purchased from Changi Village shops outside, from charcoal, grill mesh & BBQ food. Overall a great experience with the family! We love it!

The experience was amazing. The bus was kept cool with 2 aircons and the toilets are big. The beds are also comfortable and the boys enjoyed the experience. In addition, the BBQ is just Infront of the room and there is a sink and dustbin located conveniently at the area. Would strongly recommend staying here at least once to experience the unique feeling of staying in a bus

I have 4 kids and all of them love the room very much 😍 would go again to enjoy a day at the beach and great hawker food around the area. Staff were helpful and very nice.

It is not a full service hotel, but everything is good. The "room" is cleaned and well equipped. We enjoyed the stay, chilled out at the deck over BBQ and wine, seeing an endless stream of aircrafts cruising across the sky almost every minute. The Changi Village Hawker Centre is just a stone throw away. Great hideaway for a day or two.

Overall a wonderful and interesting experience. Lots of activities and good food just within walking distance.

Interesting stay, the kids enjoyed the novelty of staying in a converted bus. Space is well-designed, cosy and comfortable with all the necessities. Ample food options nearby.

We stayed 1 night for staycation. The location is good just beside the Changi Village Hawker. They don’t provide parking area. But no worries, can just park at the Changi villa and Sunday is free parking. The air conditioning is very cool. Inside the bus got 2 air conditioning.

Wonderful place to stay for a short duration, maybe a night’s stay. Anymore beyond is not so ideal as there’s not much else to do except bbq. There’s no pool or room service to speak. More like a chalet kind of stay. But i guess the novelty of the bus wears off after a while. So best bet is a 1 night stay to just get a feel of it. Pros: 1) novelty idea, unique sleeping bus experience. 2) all clean and fresh upon entry in the bus so pretty gd housekeeping. 3) nice bbq area with the provided bbq stove, the ample seating and convenient water basin outside. all the bbq items can also be ordered from the in house lounge cafe and halal too! but u can always venture to the outside shops to get more supplies too. 4) great smart tv, with plenty channels, netflix and youtube too. 5) nice spacey bathtub though it’s acrylic version so not so stable and questionable decision to put beside the tv. 6) the amenities esp the fragrant wash gel & shampoo are a nice touch. 7) location! 2mins walk to changi beach for swimming, fishing and cycling. Bumboat ride to pulau ubin! And also just beside changi village hawker ctr which is an absolute win, all the wonderful food available around the clock and accessible by 2 card accessed gates. Cons: 1) nothing much to do, though u can choose to participate in their activities if you have the time. we were only on a 1night stay so perhaps unable to comment much on this. 2) the steps leading to the buses are all rock covered hence we have to carry our heavy luggages. 3) could badly do with some pool constructed with kids play, 24hrs room service or perhaps loaning of games (carrom board, playstation etc). All in one, nice place to try out with the kids. Cooking at the bbq pit, sheltered from the elements is wonderful.

Extraordinary and unique experience especially for my daughter. Bus is generally clean with a few ants crawling around. Super nice and cosy room. We love it and highly recommend family with children to experience once.
