Grange Bank House
4.9/553 Reviews
Once again we have had the most wonderful time staying at Grange Bank House. It really is 5++Star service, food and accommodation. Warren and Peter are absolutely fantastic hosts. It’s a home from home and we always get a lovely welcome. A particularly special welcome this time too from their new little helper Maggie who is totally adorable. The guest house has a calm atmosphere and is just the relaxing break we needed. Always spotlessly clean and tidy and your every need is catered to. The breakfast is always outstanding and sets you up nicely for the day. There are an abundance of places nearby to eat and drink the during the day and in the evenings. It’s a great base for visiting all the attractions the island has to offer and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We highly recommend staying at this guest house and will be returning again soon.
The Clifton
4.4/558 Reviews
A last-minute getaway for my birthday and it didn't disappoint. A friendly and helpful welcome from Laina and Dennis awaits you. The rooms are immaculate, the bed is comfy, and we were lucky enough to have a bay room that looks right out over, well, the bay. The breakfast is excellent, tasty, well cooked, a good variety (including fried bread!!), and it really sets you up for a day of exploring. Our only downside is that we only got to stay two nights and wish it could be longer. We will certainly be returning and look forward to staying for longer next time. Thank you to all the team, Darren and Gill.
Luccombe Manor Country House Hotel
4.2/557 Reviews
The Manor Country House Hotel is a well-managed house with excellent service. Breakfast was very rich and always included fresh fruits like peanuts, peanuts, hives , to mention just a few. The dinner - also varied again - was taken in the neighbouring hotel, but it was not a problem. The location at the park with a free sea view is another plus.

Medehamstede Hotel
3.6/554 Reviews
Medehamstede Hotel,we knew it was not the best, but it was very clean, and had good hard working pleasant staff.Great food with large portions and variety.Rooms were a bit dated and the p.v.c. windows were badly finished. The bathrooms were new with a good shower. Entertainment was good but only for two of our 4 nights.Girls were not happy with no bingo, every night we were there.Barman was quick and polite, but prices were on the dear side.We will go there again.
Luccombe Hall Hotel
4.3/588 Reviews
The staff at Luccombe Hall were brilliant, from booking to check out. They were friendly and helpful, happy to share information about what to do on the island, and took the hassle out of arranging our ferry - even getting us onto a later crossing when we decided to stay a little longer. The hotel itself was in such a beautiful setting. The view is incredible and the sun shone throughout our stay, so we made use of the gardens to drink our coffee in the morning and the outdoor pool in the afternoons. Included in our stay was access to the nearby Shanklin Chine, which gave a pretty and easy (despite the steps) route down to the beach. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the decor was good. The TV had options to connect streaming platforms, which was useful. It might have been nice to have a fridge and safe in the room. Breakfast was great, with a selection of cereals, pastries and fruit, as well as cooked breakfasts. The Eggs Benedict was particularly tasty. Dinner was good, though felt a little pricey for what it was. Evening coffee was from a machine and sadly wasn't up to much. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend.
