This hotel is a gem in middle of Shanghai. Very charming and historic.! The wall is thin so I could hear someone is coughing the entire night… But the bed was comfy. Shower and sink area needs to be updated and cleaned professionally. Breakfast was sufficient and nice:)

Breakfast varies slightly every day. When leaving, the service staff told me in the yard that I could call a car and locate it there, so I didn't have to go out of the yard to wait for the car. It was really thoughtful and nice.

If you are pursuing artistic conception, you can choose. If you have high requirements for facilities, it is not recommended. You can park for free. Jing'an District is a rare place where land is at a premium. It is relatively close to the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital of Fudan University. It only takes ten minutes to walk there. The Victorian-style Villa built 1929 is also honoured as Historic Protection Building in Shanghai. The various well-appointed rooms and deluxe suites have a small contemporary twist and each are equipped with satellite TVs and Internet access. Although guests should venture out into Shanghai for a fantastic bite to eat, Chinese and Western food are both served at the hotel's restaurant and coffee shop and room service is also available. For business travelers, conference rooms are also available with the basic amenities needed for any corporate meetings.
