I had a fantastic stay here recently. Check-in process was smooth.
The room was excellent. It was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Everything felt fresh and looked brand new. Bathroom was sparkling clean and clean linens. Room was very comfortable.
Overall, my stay at Magnotel was a pleasure. The cleanliness and efficient check-in made a truly enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.
The nearest metro station around 19 minutes walking.

An unprofessional hotel. They didn’t provide toiletries when checking in. Although I knew there were no toiletries in the rooms in Shanghai, the front desk didn’t give them to us. To be honest...it was terrible. At first I thought it was just a small thing and it was nothing. Then I was ready to go upstairs. I noticed that the corridor smelled very strong. Is it because this is a newly renovated hotel? But the smell was really too strong. Then I went out with my friends and planned to change to a hotel, but my friend said that I was too tired and didn't want to move. Then I entered the room and the smell was smaller, but the hygiene was really poor. There are still dirty things inside the toilet, and there is a balcony-like platform outside the window. The inside is even more dirty and messy. I forgot to take pictures... I won’t go there again.
