The hotel reminded me of New York City's Empire State Building with the Art Deco motif. It's an old classic look which I found to be very appealing. Location wise it's less than 10 minutes on foot from Sapporo station. There are a number of tourist, shopping, nightlife and restaurant spots all within walking distance. The view from the room was spectacular and everything was very clean. The breakfast, especially the waffle station, was delicious and offered a wide variety of western and Asian dishes.

Recently we were allowed to travel outside Aomori prefecture. We booked plane tickets and hotel 3 days in advance. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by professional and friendly staff. Our temperatures were taken and all Covid precautions were maintained. Our room was spacious with a view of the mountains and a river. Bathroom was large with separate shower and bathtub. Robes and slippers were provided. Our stay included breakfast and it was delicious. Especially the made to order omelettes. Fresh fruit, vegetables, sweet breads and meats plus several Japanese traditional breakfast items were offered. Plastic gloves are given to use for the self serve items. Every morning we received a warm greeting and coffee from the manager. Everyone in the dining room and hotel made us feel welcomed. The hotel has a bus that shuttles every hour to the main Sapporo train station and shopping center. This was a great benefit of the hotel. We will go back and stay for the winter festival! We were on the 9th floor.

It is located in the centre of Sapporo City. 10 minutes walk North you will find JR Sapporo Station and 10 minutes South you will find the busy commercial district of Susukino. If you are travel from the airport, the airport Liner bus stop is right in front of the hotel but the journey will take more than 90 minutes as there are quite a few stops before arriving at the hotel. Room is clean and tidy. Be sure to book the breakfast if available. It costs 3300Yen if pay separately at the hotel but the breakfast at the Northern Terrace is one of the best buffet breakfast I have ever tasted.

The hotel location is excellent, just several minutes' walking distance from Sapporo Station, and best of all, you can use the underground pass and use the elevator at exit 23, and from there it is only around 200m to the hotel (or exit 22 if you do not mind walking the stairs, then it is only around 150m to the hotel). We stayed there in winter when it was snowing heavily outside, so we were very grateful for this. Less than 10 minutes' walk away are famous landmarks such as Sapporo Beer Factory, Sapporo TV Tower and Odori Park. The staff were all very patient, friendly and helpful. Room is quite standard sized for a Japanese hotel in the city, small but clean. I liked the fact that they have a wide range of pillows that you can freely choose from, and also that there are coin-operated washing machines and dryers available. Our rooms came with breakfast at the adjoining Yayoi restaurant. I am not sure whether it is standard for this hotel or whether it is because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but there was no buffet, and instead breakfast is available in only 4 fixed options (3 Japanese style and 1 Western style), which is the same every day. For example, no eggs, milk, cereal, etc. as what you might expect from a standard Western style breakfast, and the side dishes for the Japanese style options are also fixed so there is no variety. It is not a big problem for the average traveller just staying one or two nights, but having more variety would be nice for example when you are staying for more than a few days, or are a fussy eater. Children set meals are also available at very affordable prices.

I booked a room without breakfast. The room is small but clean, especially the bathroom. It is cleaned every day, and there is a big supermarket next to the hotel. It is less than 50m away from the entrance of Higashi Sapporo subway station. It is very convenient to travel and shop. The price is very high, and the waiters are very enthusiastic. I love this hotel in how good their service is. I didn't receive my package and the front desk Mr. Kudoh response efficiently and assisted at once to found my package. The room is clean, bed is large and with non-smoking. Large bathtub and the room looks very nice. Location is superb too only 1min to bus station and subway. 30s to convenient store. I was looking for an inn in Sapporo where I was soaring because of the schedule that I stayed for two nights from November 1 and three consecutive holidays, and I booked it immediately because this inn I found in JTB was the personal lowest price. When you arrive, the building is a bit old and feels history, but the staff is good and the room cleaning situation is no problem. There was a male bath on the second floor (the third floor for women), and the room was 8 tatami mats with the bus toilet, and it was a fresh feeling that it came to the hot spring inn even though it came to Sapporo. I wonder when I've been sleeping in a futon in a tatami room... I didn't care at all because there was no setting of a non-smoking room. If you are worried about it, the on-off sound of the refrigerator in the room was surprisingly large at bedtime, so you took off every outlet and went to bed, and parking the car of the guest without a gap in the space in front of the hotel entrance If you have a big luggage, you will have less 々 hard to get out of the road? The hotel is close to Nijo market and within 10 minutes walk to Odori Park and Suki, and the location is good, and the CP is high, and it was a hotel that I would like to stay again when I come to Sapporo.

Every time you come to Japan's preferred hotel, the price is cheap, the environment and service are very good. This time I lived in JR South Exit of Toyoko Inn, and walked for about 10 minutes from the south gate of JR Station. It was comfortable in a room that was not defeated by the cold of midwinter! The bed was too comfortable and it was very good to be rumbling all the time. Access from Sapporo Station is a little far, but it is the best because there is a soup curry shop on the first floor of this residence and Seiko Mart is right there. But when I visited in the middle of winter, the bed was comfortable, so I used it at home with a colon. It was the best, so I will use it again.
