客棧出來，一出巷子就是古城中心街道明清老街，摩肩接踵，人流如織，熙熙攘攘，好不熱鬧，但是回到客棧，穿越一般，喧囂全無，整個古城都安靜了下來，坐在院子的木質長凳上，吹着涼風，和好友暢聊，悠然自得，遠離城市的喧囂，享受慢下來的美好和靜謐，坐畢，回屋躺下，無喧雜吵鬧之音，無車馬呼嘯之聲，無空調外機聲音，悍然入夢，一覺醒來，天已大亮，老闆夫婦已經給我們準備好了平遙特色的早餐，非常好吃，給我們提供了極大的便利，省去找尋早餐的勞頓，讓我們能夠直奔景點，感謝老闆夫婦。

到了平遙已經過了凌晨了，老闆父子兩人出古城把我們接回去，走的着急把葯落車裡了，大黑天的，老闆又騎電動車載着我出去拿回來，回來都快半夜一點了，非常感動！第二天聊天得知老闆是土生土長的古城人，生在古城長在古城，對古城的歷史發展非常清楚，給我們説了很多，老闆娘也非常熱情，給我們小孩吃油糕、橘子，兩口子待人誠懇，禮貌又不失周到，非常幸運平遙之旅能入住範家老院，讓我們對平遙古城的喜愛大大增加。

大讚，客棧是古色古香的四合院，去的時候還有少奶奶們拍照取景，老闆娘很親切，給人賓至如歸的感覺，送我們吃了蘋果，客棧老闆家自己的房子，衞生收拾的非常乾淨，住的非常舒服，洗澡熱水水壓很足，之前出門住宿有的店水壓就很小，非常影響洗澡，這裏完全沒有這個問題。

位置離縣衙、南門、文廟、武廟、城隍廟等都很近，步行的話5分鐘左右都能到這些景點，燈光秀在大南門放，很方便過去看。一出巷子就是繁華的大街，晚上睡覺很安靜，鬧中取靜，客棧是典型的四合院，很有特色，老闆人也很好，耐心回答我們任何問題，還送了我們地圖，幫規劃好線路，還幫我們聯繫了包車，去王家大院，給我們提供了很大的便利。
