Nice resort with breathtaking view. Very nice staff and well organized

The resort location is great. A huge area along the beachside. But reaching here was a huge task as the Google map showed us different route and the gate was closed. Finally after 15 mins we reached their parking area. The whole procedure of checking in and getting our bags to room took another 1 hour. Room was spacious and well maintained but the balcony wasn't. The bathtub had a leakage and water would drain somehow even after locking. The hand faucet(jet spray) in bathroom would make a seriously loud high pitch noise while using it. Woke my husband up when I used to use the washroom! Also found a cockroach in the room taking a stroll ( didn't expect this when we booked a 5 star hotel) never came across one in any other hotel in thailand. The view from the supreme Seaview room was breathtaking but getting to other places like restaurant, beach was a bit fussy, because we had to take another car to pick us and drop to another location. Breakfast option is good and tasty. Totally loved their breakfast buffet. Again the check out process is lengthy especially we had to wait for our bags ( they get bags to the check out area) we had backpacks and didn't carry them with us as we had to walk stairs to reach the pick up point of cars. ( Walking a lot after paying such a high price , no elevator) and we missed our ferry and had to wait another 1.5 hr for the next ferry at chong lard pier. They also take 3000 baht as deposit and return once we check out! Their TV didn't have any channels other than their promotional channel of santhiya resort! Sigh.

I have been here the second time and i found quite few unpleasant things at the property . First the property has gone old ,the color of villas , cottages needs a repaint . That really would bring back the freshness . Limited items in food menu for Travellers from indian subcontinent . I am a vegetarian and only had option of either pizaa or fried rice in the last 3 days . Plus the property has gone expensive witn no extra benefits . This things has to be looked upon as i came with my family to show them a great property but i was quite upset when i came here . Hope the message reaches the decisionmakers .

Firstly is a very chill and relaxing place, you can feel it when you alight from the speed boat, the environment is good, staff is friendly, SPA and massage is great, we have a wonderful time here

Not what I expected for a quiet getaway. Too many people for my liking. Maybe families would enjoy more

We had a great time at Santhiya. The staffs are very nice. The view is stunning! Highly recommended and we would love to go back there again.

Very nice hotel. One of the best we have been to. But more for couples and honeymooner. Very friendly staff. English skills only low but with hands and feet ok. We loved the chilled atmosphere at the infinity pool and restaurant over there.

First of all Santhiya resort is really heaven on earth. The location, the rooms, the amenities, breakfast, the pools … everithing is TOPCLASS. This all comes with a certain price … rooms are very expensive …when you drink a coctail by the pool, you can have five coctails for the same price, just one street besides the hotel. This all gave me a very bad feeling … it was (more than) exagerated For instance …. When we arrived on the isle, we booked a taxi to drive us to the hotel.We payed 600THB. When we left the isle we wanted to book the same taxi … the hotel wanted to charge 730THB….. sorry … there is only one name you can give this …THIS IS A RIPOFF !!! I also know that the difference between 600 en 730THB is neglectable in euro/dollar ….. but nevertheless this realy offended me …. I had the prove of what we payed arriving in the hotel in my hand … 600THB suddenly became 730THB …. Only because it was Santhiya ….. This 130 THB is enough raison for me never to return to Santhiya. If this is the repect they have for their clients … money, money, money … no thanx … never again. Even worse …. While checking in they give you a whatsapp number. A number you can contact for whatever problem on whatever moment. We used this whatsapp several times. As long as it was all positive news they immediately responded. The “taxi history” (see above) i also send to the whatsspp and i asked for a solution. 3 weeks have passed, i am still waiting for a reaction!!!! As long as you spend your money and do not ask anoying questions they threath you as their God,…. Just to finish the story … We booked a taxi outside of the hotel … we payed 400THB!!!
