The Inn Patan

Lovely stay here - staff was attentive and welcoming and everything about the location was extremely thoughtful and intentional. It was wonderful to sit in the courtyard and chat with the owners about the rich history of this location. Venu location smack dab in the middle of a happening area - but due to the inn being set back in an alley, once you enter the courtyard, its as if the busy, bustling world outside melts away, and you enter into a serenely calm environment. totally the best of both worlds! Walk a few steps outside and you're in the middle of shops, great restaurants, and so many wonderful people to go chat with.
Shakya House

The hotel is adjacent to Patanduba Square, and the vicinity is where the famous Nepalese Buddha statues are made. Many artisans have made exquisite Buddha statues in their homes by the alleys leading to the hotel. The hotel is very clean and tidy, especially very quiet, the furnishings are artistic, and most of the guests are European tourists. Through the window, you can see a small playground opposite, and the children are swinging on the swing happily. The hotel has a small elegant garden and a well-equipped dining room where you can make your own cup of Marsala tea or order an affordable meal. The most important thing is that the rooms here have screens, no mosquitoes come in, and you can sleep very securely. My daughter is ill, and I received a very considerate care here, from the boss to every service staff will ask with concern what help is needed! I like it very much, it has left me a good memory here!
Hotel Kutumba

Like Like Like Like 👍 This hotel is the best I live in Nepal, and the price/performance ratio is really super high. The location is very convenient, a ten-minute walk is one of the largest shopping malls in the area. Attractions are also very close. First of all, the service is superb. As soon as you arrive at the hotel, someone will help you take your luggage upstairs, as well as welcome juice and fruits. There are two restaurants in the hotel, and the restaurant upstairs has a view of the landscape, which is very beautiful. The hotel room is very comfortable and clean and very new, the bath water in the bathroom is very hot. The best thing is that the breakfast is an a la carte breakfast. There are many types. There is an entire menu with a wide variety of drinks, from coffee to freshly squeezed juices, to freshly made chocolates, muffins and cakes. Both American breakfast and local breakfast are available. What's better is that this hotel is very new, very good compared to other Nepal hotels. The manager of the hotel is very enthusiastic and keeps asking how is the hotel every day? How is the breakfast? The hotel can also help to book a taxi, which is very cheap. Just call him when you come back from the attraction, or you can book a taxi. We stayed for a week, and the plane was at 8 o'clock in the evening, and he was very considerate to let us check out late and return at 5 o'clock. This hotel is really worth recommending. If you come to Kathmandu, don't hesitate to book this one.

This hotel is great! My husband and I stayed here for a night, and we really enjoyed the view of Patan Durbar Square from our room and the mountain views from the rooftop terrace. The hotel is built in a traditional Newari style with a modern twist (much of the decor is authentic Newari art). The rooms are a great size. The bathrooms are super clean and very nice. There were lots of amenities, like toothbrushes, toiletries, and a hair dryer in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The WiFi was excellent for Nepal. There were only two downsides. The water bottle in the room was not sealed, so we didn’t drink it. Second, the square was kind of loud early in the morning (around 5 AM), but this could have been because of the holidays. Regardless of the two downsides, we had a wonderful stay, and we would definitely stay again. The owner was very nice, and he lived in the USA for 8 years, so the hotel is very friendly to western tastes. You can’t beat the location or the comfort of this hotel in Nepal.
Cozy Home

We were picked up from Kathmandu (TIA) airport at 10PM after 9 hour flights from Australia. I highly recommend this service -- the Host Mr. Krishna Prasad was great and very chatty and friendly, which was very comforting with being in Nepal for the first time. He had a sign with our group name clearly printed. It took us a few minutes to find him just because of the size of the airport but they will be there. Then he welcomed us with Flower Garlands 'Mala”. We went to Cozy Home in tourist bus with AC. We stayed there for a week and the environment was very homely. We were cared by the hosts like a family. We enjoyed a lot . When we returned from there, we were dropped off to TIA in tourist bus in the evening. Thankyou Krishnaa and his wife Radhikaa for such a wonderful stay. Wish to visit again soon.
Shaligram Hotel & Spa

My 6-day stay was overall good. Friendly staff with a beautiful garden. The location seems handy, near the central zoo. Around the place, there are so many nice cafes, restaurants, fruit shops. Initially, I’d like to thank Tashi for her helpful tips and welcoming warmth, which made my journey easier and more relaxing. Also, Tashi is the best sales person I’ve met innNepal, she picked up my call at late night time and made an instant arrangement for my stay. So much appreciated! Thanks Tashi. We had several conversations about cultural exchanges. Brilliant experience! Drawbacks: 1. the old Nepali apartment slightly smells, probably resulting from the rainy season. 2. The rate is a bit overpriced, but fortunately I got a free upgrade. 3. The shower facility looks a bit too old in the room, so the hot water came inconsistently with a relatively small volume. Btw, this is the only picture I took from the property<
