Paris 10th arrondissement-Entrepot Hotels

It has a quite good location. but still little bit far from the city center. And staff at front desk are not that work well. they are sometimes confusing what bed is available. also they are not that concentrating on the online booking. seems like… But really clean and good facilities i highly recommend

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. We booked a stay at the Bloom House Hotel & Spa for 4 nights from 31 August 2023, we paid the full amount at the time of booking on a non-refundable basis for a balcony room. One of the key reasons for selecting Bloom House was that it was a brand-new hotel, we could have a top floor balcony room with city views, and the hotel had quality spa and restaurant facilities on site. A few weeks before our stay, we were contacted by Bloom House by phone to advise that our booking was being cancelled as they were delaying the opening of the hotel. They offered us a room in one of their sister hotels, Hôtel Parister, which they tried to insist was an upgrade, as Hôtel Parister is a 5* hotel and Bloom House is a 4* hotel. They put pressure on us to agree to the swap over the phone, without seeing pictures of the hotel. We resisted this and asked them to email us with details of the alternative hotel and the room. We were offered one of the most basic rooms at Hôtel Parister, with no balcony. At such short notice, and at such a popular time of the year in Paris, alternative options were very limited and we had little choice but to accept a transfer to Hôtel Parister, even though it is not a hotel we would have ever chosen ourselves. We explained that we were dissatisfied with the offer, and that, from our perspective, any room without an equivalent balcony / terrace would be downgrade, irrespective of the purported 5* status of Hôtel Parister. After several emails back and forth, they finally agreed to put us in a balcony room in Hôtel Parister. We were very disappointed in this whole interaction and feel that, given that Bloom House cancelled our booking at short notice, and after we have paid in full on a non-refundable basis, we should have been offered a significant upgrade at one of Bloom House's sister hotels. We were extremely disappointed with Hôtel Parister, it was not a hotel of 5* quality and was not an appropriate / equivalent swap for our booking at Bloom House. The room we were given at Hôtel Parister was dark, dingy and extremely small, so small in fact that there was nowhere big enough for us to store our cabin sized travel bags, with very dated décor, a far cry from the brand new light and airy rooms at Bloom House, and extremely basic amenities. The room we offered had a terrace, but it was dark and dirty. The terrace was overlooked / towered over by buildings on every side, and had dead plants with fallen leaves all over it (it clearly had not been cleaned for some time). As such, we did not use the terrace, and it was not comparable to the top floor balcony with city views we had booked at Bloom House. Cleanliness in the room was also not up to scratch, the coffee machine was dirty and clearly not cleaned regularly or thoroughly. The dining / room service menu for Hôtel Parister was uninspired, and had very limited vegetarian, vegan and plant-based options, extremely disappointing for a purported 5* hotel in 2023 serving international

Loved this hotel. Very convenient to Eurostar. Yes the rooms are small but it had everything, very clean, and modern. Continuous coffee, and water available. Wonderful staff. Maybe you wouldn’t as a first choice pick the 10th arrondissement but we loved the area. Dozen of tiny local restaurants, shops and bakeries. The metro stop is on the corner so you can get anywhere in a few minutes. Lively during the day but was quiet when we went to sleep and the windows were good at keeping the noises out if you need.

We asked for a quiet room, and received a reply saying that our request would be taken into consideration. I am still getting copies of that message every few days a week later, it is clearly auto generated and not true. The air con was not working. They knew this as we checked in but did not tell us. After wasting time trying to fix it we spoke about it and asked to change rooms. We were facing a. Night of either it being hot and stuffy, or following their brilliant advice and leaving the windows open to the noise and police sirens of the street. It was not a good nights sleep, and tha is all I demand of a hotel. We will not be going back. Ok, but it could be better

Great little hotel, convenient for Gare du Nord and other metro stations. Room was spotlessly clean, really spacious for the 4 of us, with the kids beds behind a partition. Reception staff were very helpful. A special mention to the ladies looking after breakfast who were very helpful with my questions about allergies and the food, they showed me the packet of the thing I asked about so I could check for myself. That was really important for me and they were kind and patient about it. Thank you.

Location is really amazing Staff was nice to us However the room really is very small and the window is next to air-condition/ventilation machine that kept making a banging sound all making it hard to sleep. Receptionist told us can't do anything as they are full now and can't offer a different room (I have read many reviews where people had the same experience, so if it was true or not that the hotel was full we'll never know) Not so sure about cleanliness either as I saw mud on the floor and bathroom didn't look very clean.

True to its brand, this 25Hours hotel has style in spades. The room was stylish and comfortable and the hotel service was quick, attentive, and helpful. The location of this hotel is basically perfect. You're a short subway or bus ride away from most of Paris's many attractions and located directly across the street from one of the city's largest train stations, meaning you have access to trains going all over France, including to the Paris's airports, meaning loads of taxis are also nearby. Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel and my stay. My only complaint is that the rooms lighting seemed to be harsh and needlessly complicated in the hope of looking cool. In the end, I unscrewed several of the bulbs.

Should have kept the hotel I originally booked, where I have stayed before and been happy. I wanted a hotel in this location because I have limited time and an early train to catch on my last day. Based on the reviews, I decided to stay here and paid $300 a night which is way overpriced. The room is very tired, scuffed walls and furniture, and just needs maintenance. The bedside lights are impossible to read by and lighting is generally bad. No English language news station available. I am not planning to be out late at night but would feel very uncomfortable walking alone in the immediate area. The hotel entrance isn’t very visible and the front desk staff are nowhere near the entrance in case there was a problem. I am sure there are better options for the price, and a block or two further from the stations only adds a few minutes to the time it takes to get there.

The location is right at the Gare L’Est. It is very convenient. You can go to a lot of tourist places without changing lines. The only drawbacks are the cleanliness. Sometimes there is hair in the towel. The carpets have some stains and grey. The best of all is the buffet breakfast. It is the most delicious breakfast among the hotels we stayed.
