Stayed 2 nights at the Ritz Carlton earlier in the week during my first business trip to Japan after Covid. Must confess that was really impressed. Excellent service, great staff and in general hotel very well equipped. Room was spacious, clean, with a great bed allowing for very good night sleep, very good performing wifi, great bathroom very well equipped including a very nice set of salt for the bath. Definitely hotel gives a lot of attention to detail and you can see it during your stay. There was an air purifier in my room, which was a bit noisy, so I had to unplug it during the night. This didn't bother me at all, but maybe something to check by the hotel management. All in all, perfect stay. Will definitely return on my next trip to Osaka.

The new brand hotel of the Palace Hotel opened in July, so I was able to stay at a good price using GoTo. The location is just outside Dojima underground street. It is located in the south of Kita Shinchi, but the service was good and I was able to stay with peace of mind. The corner studio of 32 square meters stayed. There is a bathtub and shower booth in the space like home called rug in the flooring, and it feels compact. However, when you take a shower, the powder area is flooded, and the bath is rounded from the room? All the towels were very soft and good with imabari towels. There is a restaurant and room 001 on the second floor, coin laundry, vending machine, coffee machine and microwave oven, and shoe shine service and free puff service It was a very calm space. I didn't use the restaurant this time, but I was worried about the space that I saw a little and was very nice. depends on the price, it is a hotel that I want to stay again.

Conclusion I will never stay at ANA Crowne Plaza Osaka again. The room was the smallest I have ever been at and part of the window was blocked by a wall outside the room. The check in and check out was chaos with a huge queue. The hotel is outdated too. The only positive thing regarding this hotel is the club lounge. Review I arrived with the Shinkassen at Osaka station and the hotel is in walking distance from station. The train station is huge, and I was difficult to find the right exit. The hotel is located in a business area, but there are a lot of restaurants, bars and shops in the neighborhood. Not the right area, if you are a turist. I arrived at 2 pm, where I could not get me room even I am an IHG diamond member. Came back after a couple of hours, where there was a huge queue. Check-in took between 45-60 min. It was the same situation, when I should check out. It is not possible to check out in the IHG app. Even I have the highest status in the IHG program, I got the smallest room in the hotel. It was not possible to open my suitcase in the room - i don’t want it on the bed. The window was partly blocked by wall outside the window. The room is very outdated. I had access to the club lounge, where I had a couple of drinks during the evening and breakfast in the morning. The lounges was ok but it was busy.

The location is quite good. Next to the Umeda Sky Building so it’s easy to find. However it’s a 5-10 min walk to the big department store, but the walk is okay. There is a shuttle bus service which makes it very nice also. The room is quite big and of course everything was nice and clean. The breakfast was amazing! I love the hotel and would stay again!

Stayed for 2 nights in a twin room during Autumn. Good size comparing to many other hotels of this rate, enough space to open 2 suitcases at the same time. Love the location, easy to find the hotel from train station, it’s just above Daimaru and many excellent restaurants within 10 mins walk. It’s fabulous to get back to my room for a short break between shopping. Nothing is better than staying directly above the station for train travelers. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

The location of the hotel is decent. It's a long walk from Osaka Station. There is a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel, and nearby restaurants such as Matsuya, Yoshinoya and Kame King are open until late at night. The room is very clean and the room size is okay, but the writing desk takes up a lot of space. The front desk is located on the eighth floor, and all the service staff I met were very polite. It was nice for us to go to the front desk to change change, replace room cards and even print documents. The room facilities look very European and dated, but they are well maintained and can be used well. It's close to the railway line, so it's a little noisy. However, it's not as close as 130 meters to the JR station. It takes seven or eight minutes to walk on the ground. It's not easy to find if you go underground. First, walk in the direction of Hilton and then go to Exit 6/30 to find it. Ten minutes or more, there are no restaurants around the hotel.

Hey! Hotel Monterey Group is a place that we love to stay here in Japan. The amenities, the staff and the place itself are awesome. Good and calm hotel to stay , different from the entrance , situated close to an arcade. Staff was good, and helped me with an early check in. If you arrive by train in Osaka, you may need to drag the bag from the station, easier to find the way coming from the streets and not the underground. But plenty of eateries around. Department stores close to Umeda station. Room had space for a big bag, comfy beds, some room amenitites, kettle, tea. Personnel amenities to be collected at the check in, that is the new eco trend in Japan. Mid-scale hotel, will consider for future travels.

It was a stylish and bright room with a round table and sofa, a circular chair with a backrest and twin table lights. There is Dojima Avanza in front of the window of the room. It is a spacious bathroom with a toilet, a bathroom, and a bathtub. There was no container for shampoo body soap conditioner, and instead, the solid soap shampoo conditioner was a one-off type of in-house test offering. There was no toothpaste in the toothbrush bag, and there was a separate small bag of medicinal toothpaste. Two bags of tea, sencha, coffee, and tea were nostalgic Sri Lankan ”Dilmah” PREMIUM. You can see the outside view from the elevator. PC2 There is a business booth with a printer on the lobby floor. The breakfast venue is located on the first floor of the cafe terrace ”Ginki Sai” and the grand piano is placed in the cyclamen artificial flower. The number and taste of the dishes were satisfactory. I received one disinfectant sheet at check-in.

This is my 2nd time staying in this hotel this year. I was pretty disappointed with the stay this time. I have booked 3 rooms for a family of 6. Room 1-3: Rooms was very hot despite AC turned on. Room 2: Sink was choked and shower room was reeked with bad smell. Room 3: Room was stinky. I was aware that the hotel rooms were fully booked hence we just bear with the condition since we will be out most of the time hence did not request for changing of rooms. I understood from the front desk staff that our rooms are eco-plan rooms and there will not be a daily housekeeping which was fine, except clean towels and water will be provided each day throughout our stay. However there were 2 days we were not given complimentary water. Nonetheless, this hotel has a very strategic location with transport, shopping and airport transfer in one place that attracts people to stay. I hope the hotel can do some refurbishment to the rooms if there’s an opportunity.

The hotel is in Nishi Umeda, less than 700 meters southwest of JR Osaka Station. Exit from the Central South Exit of JR Osaka Station and walk to the ground level. Follow the Amap and follow the surface road to the west, then turn south. I recommend using Amap. Google’s signal is really poor indoors or underground. The front desk of the hotel only speaks English with a Japanese accent, and the room is very nice. The bedroom area is relatively small but fully functional. The bathroom is very nice and spacious. Disposable toothbrushes and other items are available for free at the front desk.
