Hotels near Worcester Park, London

Just leaving Holiday Inn Sutton and have had a truly wonderful stay. This hotel was used as a base for exploring London and surrounding areas and can't recommend highly enough. Ok we're not talking 5 star luxury, but if you're looking for that common sense should tell you to book elsewhere. However if you're looking for CLEAN (so important) and comfort with EXCELLENT staff then this will be for you! Staff are honestly some of the best I've encountered (even in 5 star hotels) and I don't say that lightly. Restaurant, front desk, housekeeping, health club all an absolute credit to the hotel and brand. Thank you. Nothing was to much trouble and you made our stay really great. It's the morning and evening acknowledements and friendly vibe and all the little touches that really do go a long way. We'll be back and would highly recommend this hotel and if there's a way to reward staff on duty 27th-29th August 2022 please do :)

I don’t usually stay in Ibis hotels but this one is like no other ibis hotel I’ve stayed at. From the laid back informal reception area to the contemporary rooms this was a good overnight stay. I appreciated the welcome cookies. The room was spacious but clearly designed for short stays in regards to storage space. There’s USB ports by the bedside. The bathroom has a shower, no bath and good to see the body soap and shampoo in dispensers rather than individual plastic bottles. The water though was only luke warm. The Wi-Fi signal was excellent. Location is excellent in the centre of town and just a few minutes walk to the station. The restaurant menu was limited but adequate for most tastes. My only complaint was the pulsing noise of the bathroom extractor fan which is independent of the air conditioning in the room and not able to switch off.

Sarah Dacey 1/5 a week ago on Google This place should be shut down. Upon your arrival you are instantly locked out as this is not a manned place. I can’t even call it a Hotel. You literally have to wait for somebody to let you in, Within an hour if you’re lucky. The room!!! My god. I’ve had better camping trips. On opening the room door (after a 50 minute wait outside and a 5 hour drive ) we were met with a dirty quilt left rolled up on a disgustingly dirty bed ( hair and filth all over it ). There were wet used towels and dirty bedding left on the side table. No one was available to do anything about it. They do not cook breakfast ( not that I would eat there ) so that’s a complete lie and you’re paying for it. The blinds on the windows have been fitted by Stevie Wonder and don’t open or close. The place is run down and generally filthy. The water is constantly freezing cold and your unable to shower. Even the electric was off. So at times we had cold water with no electricity. The owner is the most disgusting and rude person I’ve ever met and will not converse or do anything about your situation. PLEASE DON’T BOOK HERE. You’d be better off sleeping in your car. !!! It’s vile and unsafe. I paid £800 for an executive room for 7 days to be close to my partner who had an operation in a local hospital. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN. You will be ignored by anyone that occasionally works there. A DISGRACEFUL EXPERIENCE!!! The 1 stars I have given it are actually minus 10 and more. 1 star is way too good for the place. A very good house. When I first arrived, I thought there might be safety issues because it was an apartment. But once I settled in, I found it very convenient. There are many Hong Kong people nearby. There are washing machines, public kitchens, shared food, and independent accommodation nearby. There is a Chinese supermarket, free parking, and convenient transportation. It can be given a relatively good score. The only drawback is that there are two big trees above the parking area, and the birds above often poop on the roof of my car.

I love the kitchen with cutlery provided. Microwave oven and dishwasher (5 tablets provided)/ washing machine with dry clean provided but pls bring your own wash tablet. They also have detergent , a cloth for dish washing . No rubbish bin bag provided but can ask for one at reception as you need to clean your own rubbish. Everything was fine as I can open the window at my side of rooms. Don't know if it applies to all room in adagio. The only downside is the very slow wifi speed which only has a max 4-5mbps through out the day. If possible choose the room facing the west as you can have a unblocked view of southwest London

The first time we ever had a short break away here was in 2012 and it was amazing. On arrival, we were checked in by a person who gave us wristbands and told us everything we needed to know about early park access, breakfast check in, times, and everything you needed to know. We also had access to the walk around the zebra and giraffe (and the other animals) enclosures after the park had closed. Which was amazing. This time around it was completely different. We had to check ourselves in, which also cost an additional £15 for room keys. (which you do have back once you check out) No one behind the counter had informed us that some things had changed, so we went about things like it was back in 2012. On the second day, the day we were supposed to be granted 1 hour early in the park the early access gate was closed and locked. We decided to try the main entrance and after fighting our way to the front of the main entrance and trying to explain to staff that our entrance was closed, we still had to argue with one of the staff members to gain access. By the time we got to someone who was willing to let us in they were letting the public in anyway. So we lost our early access. The park was amazing the staff there were lovely and the rides were great and we really did have a cracking day. At the end of the day when the park had closed, we decided to go back to the hotel and change so we could enjoy the walk among the zebras and other animals. But again, the gate was closed and locked. I went to ask a member of staff on the main desk what was going on and why the gate was locked both times we attempted to use it and was informed that they don't allow hotel guests to have that privilege anymore. I was very disheartened by all this and this probably could have been avoided if we were informed during check in like we were in 2012. I get that it may be easier for some people but why am I doing hotel receptions jobs for them by checking us all in and trying to scramble the Internet and my email inbox to try and find out information. Everything else is fantastic and I really do love this place. They just need to make more effort to inform people about their stay and not just lump us with 100's of emails and expect us to go through them all for one tiny piece of information they could have easily told us in person.

I must say that the apartment I stayed in during my visit to England was quite comfortable, modern, and clean. The location was also amazing, which is why I chose it in the first place. However, upon arrival, I was a bit disappointed to find out that the front desk was located in a separate building a few blocks away from the apartment complex. To make matters worse, they didn't even offer to help me get my luggage to the apartment complex, so I had to drag it for about 15 minutes. While the apartment itself was great for those looking to disconnect from the outside world, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who needs constant internet access. Unfortunately, the staff service was not up to par during my stay. The hotel information didn't provide all the necessary details about internet access, and the staff couldn't help resolve the issue for me. This led to a lot of frustration and ultimately forced me to check out two days early. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive a refund for the inconvenience.

On arrival there was a new girl on Reception (black girl) and she told me that the room I had reserved was room only and I knew I had booked a b&b rate. Although she was very pleasant she said she was new and needed to check with a more experienced receptionist. A white lady came into the reception area and was telling me that the new girl didn't know how to check was was included in the room rate and started showing her - how to check for this while I was there. This white lady (had a foreign accent) was quite abrupt to me and I thought to myself, maybe if you trained the new girl better, she would be able to check these details. The new girl was apologizing, I said to her its not your fault, you need to get trained better in your role. She was a beautiful young girl and very friendly and tried to help as much as she could. The kettle in my room was not working but was replaced quite quickly. I went to get some milk from the trolley and the Housekeeper (Spanish) screamed at me - your are not allowed to touch the trollies and if you need anything, please contact Reception, I said shall I leave it back then and she said - No its OK!. Had to advice Reception if one, needed their room cleaned. Breakfast was nice except the mushrooms they were too hard and difficult to eat. Staff tend to move trollies and talk to each other when guests are around and they use the guest lift as a service lift. They got in the way at times when I was trying to get out of the hotel, they apologized for getting in my way. Majority of staff were friendly, rooms need updating. On my last day, I was getting some tea at breakfast time in the dining area and when I returned a staff member (Small Indian lady) was clearing away my food and I had only went to get a cup of tea and had not finished my breakfast, I told her I was still having my breakfast. I was annoyed as my room card was still on the table but she never noticed this and was clearing it away. They spray and clean empty tables very close to you as you eat your breakfast which is frustrating as the smell of the cleaning liquid is quite strong, It was my first time staying at this hotel, however in the past I have had coffee/tea there but never stayed before. I would rate is as a 3 star Hotel and not a 4 star Hotel.

We are members of the Lensbury and joined earlier this year. It’s an awesome place - great facilities and grounds. The biggest thing letting it down is the poor food and restaurant service. It always takes ages to order and when the food arrives it’s really not as good as the nearby pubs. If they change this, it’ll easily be the best spot in teddington - such a shame.

My partner and I recently stayed here as it was close to the theatre. We had other options of the Premier Inn nearer to the venue, but chanced the Antoinette as parking was available. So glad we took the chance. On arrival the reception staff were very welcoming and even upgraded our room to an executive room. The room itself was very clean and comfortable with the facilities in the room more than you'd expect from the cost of the room. With only a 6 minute walk to the theatre we used this to our advantage by coming and going to the local restaurants. The only lwt down was there was not a restaurant within the hotel as we'd have loved to experience and evening meal there too, but the local Persian restaurant was a first with lovely food. We will definitely stay here again and again as we have looked at more shows to see at the New Wimbledon Theatre.
