I was very disappointed that the WIFI didn't work throughout my whole stay I did tell them the issue they did move my room but the room they moved me too had no WiFi either. As a proffesional trader Internet connection is needed especially when they stated before the room was booked that they do provide working WiFi.

Love this hotel stay here every time we visit london. Rooms are a good size for a family of 4. I visit withHubby and both my 7year old and 4 year old. Excellent leisure facilities! Has a lovely swimming pool which always has a decent temperature alongside a sauna and a gym. Excellent changing rooms but found to be very cold when entering. This hotels has excellent staff working here and this visit was by far the best. I had a lovely warm Top class female named Priti check us out. Priti had very good humour and made us smile she was very helpful and mentioned we still had complimentary welcome drinks left on our room stay which we had before we left. Very professional and excellent communication skills from staff here. Attentive and very helpful never appear to be stressed. Go far and beyond. Keep up the good work. Can’t wait to stay on my next visit which will be in October term.

This hotel was perfect;y placed for my visit to Hammersmith as well as central London. Easy to get to along the Piccadilly line, 10 mins to Hyde Park corner and 20 mins from Kings Cross. This is one of the larger Novotel hotels but the amenities are even greater and all the familiar comforts of this chain of hotels was there to enjoy. Very pleased with my choice especially the price given it isn’t right in the centre.

This hotel is set in lovely grounds the room was amazing with friendly staff. Unfortunately there was an event on which kept me awake with loud music I actually checked out early due to this. Spa facilities available with a charge on top of stay.

If you're looking for a hotel to visit London, this is not the one. To give you an idea : Piccadilly Circus is about 1.5 hours to walk and about 45 minutes by taxi (expensive) and, if you're lucky, about the same by public transport (a mixture of walking, bus and tube... and a pain!) That said, if you need a hotel in this particlar area – which is actually nearer to Fulham than Sloane Square, then you could do much worse. The welcome was genuinely warm and we were made to feel appreciated. Despite checking in the previous day via the Hilton app., no room could be allocated, so we had to check in again at the front desk. The check in staff was charming and efficient and her trainee status was not evident. Our 6th floor room, well away from the renovation noise on the 1st floor felt, however, like a downgrade from the 'Queen' room we'd booked, as it had a double bed in it (150cm) – like Hampton Inns, which Hilton class as 2 categories below Doubletree. For Diamond members – who can expect room upgrades “up to a one bedroom suite” - this could be a disappointment. Queen beds are usually 160cm, doubles 150cm. If this hotel is selling doubles as queens, then I personally think this is a bit naughty of them. Also, despite the hotel stating that their 1st floor renovation work does not start before 9 a.m., they do not mention that the massive building project which half-encircles the hotel, starts well before this time and is constant throughout the day and, by the look of things, is destined to last for a long time yet. The room was clean, the bed comfortable although narrow and, apart from a few stains, the room was adequat for a one or two night stay. I wouldn't like to stay longer, as the bathroom is even smaller than a Hampton Inn – there's nowhere to put a toilet bag and nowhere to hang used towels. The shower unit is the same style as in Hamptons but much smaller than most. The toilet seat was loose and so was 'interesting' when using it, several plug sockets in the room did not work and the a/c and TV turned themseves off several times during our stay. Otherwise the room was well designed, with enough mirrors, work surface, chair, safe etc. and fridge that gets things cold enough – if you are willing to wait about 18 hours, that is! Don't expect a good sleep – the doors are not sound-proofed and are paper-thin. Room doors are also constantly 'banging' shut due to the spring mechanism. The lobby bar is well stocked but has slighly frightening prices. We didn't try the restaurant – choosing a Middle-Eastern restaurant 5 minutes' walk away – but the food we saw looked to be well-presented and seemed to be of the fast food type. The breakfast was, to be totally frank, extremely disappointing. The quality was good but the choice was extremely poor for a Doubletree and, in comparison to the maybe 30 or 40 Doubletrees I've stayed in, is by far the worst breakfast 'spread' I've seen to date. Booked this for a visit to Kew Gardens Xmas event. Location good for that. Impressive facade and reception and pleasant dining room for breakfast. Used car park at rear which was rather cramped. Room was a bit disappointing. Blind disabled to avoid view of adjacent building site so no natural light. Small and unable to open small wardrobe door fully as it hit the bed. Nice tea/coffee making facilities but limited coffee pods (no decaf even when requested). Bed comfy and all clean and pleasant. With a few tweaks could be 5star.

After reading some negative reviews we were quite anxious about staying at this hotel and even considered cancelling. Before we arrived we were sent an email asking us to go to a different address which was 7 doors down. This was not an issue for us. This was their sister hotel the pearl hotel which is where we stayed. When we arrived to the hotel check in was fairly easy and we were upgraded to a room with one double bed and one single bed despite requesting 2 singles. We were both really happy with this. Despite the room being small it had everything that you could want and need . The room and Beds were really comfortable and clean, room had an ensuite with a really good shower and had had a variety of toiletries to use which we did after a hot day in London. Lots of places to eat nearby with good high street shops too all within a few minutes walking distance (wetherspoons/superdrug/£1 shop/taco Bell/ pizza express etc) There is also a sainsburys local across the road from the hotel. Small TV and fan in room which was amazing as London was Boiling in July. Kettle and tea/coffee facilities available and also a fridge. Nearest tube station approx.7 mins walk away with access leading to all over London. We only stayed one night but both have said we would 100 % stay here again could not fault the property.

I need to preface this with: I booked this 2 months ago for 3 people. We arrived via a side door, checked in and told our room is on the second floor. We weren't directed to stairs or a lift, we just had to find out own way. Once we made it up the four flights of stairs, we were greeted by a room with 2 beds.. But there are 3 of us! We immediately call reception to be told that they are looking into it and will call us back. We sit in our first (YES, FIRST) room for 20 minutes before chasing up with the reception staff. We are told that a colleague is on the way, Great! We meet him in the stairwell as we weren't sure he would be able to find us. He advises that there aren't any rooms as they are fully booked. But sir, we booked a triple room, 2 months ago, why was this not accommodated for at the time? He said that they had a potential room in the basement we can look at. We query if there are 3 beds, his response ”just come and look”. Again, we ask: Are there 3 beds though? - ”Come and look, we can get you more blankets if you are happy with it”. Sorry sir, excuse me? He then informs us that we can leave our bags in the HALL WAY. We are not leaving our belongings in the hallway. We go down 6 flights of stairs to the basement to be shown a studio flat with 1 double bed, a single bed in an office and... yes.. you guessed it.. a sofa. Ah, that is why he said he can get us extra blankets. We inform the member of staff that this isn't acceptable. He states that there are no more rooms. We reiterate that we booked this 2 months ago for 3 people and wonder why we haven't been accommodated. We are THEN told there is a room, but the lights don't work. We go in and the lights do work but one of the beds has been slept in, the toilet is dirty and used (as has the shower) and there are hand prints on the ceiling. The wifi also isn't reliable. We ask for 3 pillows - receive 2 (as the beds didn't have pillows). We tell the member of staff that the toilet is dirty and he says - quite flippantly - ”well.. do you want me to come and clean it?” I'm sorry but he should be saying that he WILL come and clean it. The room has obviously been used and not cleaned at all. We are woken up by people walking up and down the corridor banging loudly (We are in the basement remember) and I am pretty sure someone tried to come in, but luckily we locked the door!
