I stayed at Aman for three nights. The hotel is located on the top of the Lion Mountain. It has an excellent viewing platform where you can have a panoramic view of the ancient city of Lijiang at night. The hotel has a small door next to Wenchang Palace, and you can walk directly to the lively Sifang Street in the center of the ancient city at the foot of the mountain. Before check-in, the housekeeper added WeChat to help me report my license plate number. After check-in, the RR manager also took us to visit the hotel and arranged a Naxi fire pit dinner. It was a very good experience. All the staff in the hotel are very warm and considerate. They will also thoughtfully send menus for breakfast and go there after making arrangements. All in all, everything was very comfortable and I would choose this place again next time I go there.

The location is good because it is in the city but also close to the old town. The hotel is clean and the rooms are big and comfortable. The problem was the coldness, everywhere in the hotel was cold during our stay in February. We had to have breakfast with our jackets on and next to the heater. The staff does not speak English but we were able to communicate with the translator and wechat. Overall it is a good hotel and good value for money.

Choose to stay here because its a new 5stars hotel in the area. It is a really mixed feeling about this hotel. Let me list down the pros/cons. Pro: - right above lijiang ancient town - bed and duvet are super comfortable - they have bidet and heated floor!! 👍🏻 - room interior is beautiful and well equipped. So many free goodies. - the view from breakfast area is AMAZING. On good days You can see the mountain from there - their butler service is SUPER amazing! THANK U LI JIAHAO (and friends!!) for you excellent service during our stay. He is so fast, reliable and attentive. You all are the highlight of my stay in this hotel👍🏻 Cons: - its a physical challenge right from you get of your car. its above lijiang ancient town, so check in/out, go to ancient town or back to the hotel you have to climb/down stairsss. Travel with little kids or elderly? Avoid!! - unstable hot water for shower. The average weather was 1c during our stay, to shower with lukewarm water is a nightmare. - its a really small hotel more like guest house, and our room is near busy street that is very noisy! I can hear car honking even at midnight and as early at 6am😭. - breakfast is average - it was my birthday during my stay. The hotel did not give any attention at all, not even a birthday note, let alone a little cake. Our butler help my husband went buy cake late at night so I can have a little celebration 😅😅 - in my opinion it is more suitable to be called 4stars hotel. And price is too high I expect more benefits like any other 5stars hotels, yet other 5stars hotel price is 1/3 less (beside Amandayan obviously) compare to this hotel. Conclusion: I enjoyed my stay. But will not return here for my next trip.

This hotel resides inside the ancient town very close to the South Gate. The service I received was totally fantastic. All were friendly. They picked us at the gate, prepared some snacks and fruits for our late arrival, and when we left early next morning for the mountain they helped pack breakfast for us. The breakfast offered at the hotel was really good. The rice noodles were the best of all I had at the city. Though the hotel is inside the ancient town, and can hardly be as spacious as intercontinental, the room very large and comfortable. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

My wife and I stayed at Baima hostel for 3 nights. We had a great time here, the hotel is in a great location and offers amazing views of the ancient town - the viewing platform is a fantastic place to catch the sunrise / sun set! The room was clean and offered all the comforts a hotel offers. The team were really kind and made sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend!

Views were fantastic! There’s abit of a climb to the hotel. First timers should take a taxi to the hotel (landmark 万古楼） instead of didi as there’s a restricted area which didi drivers cannot access. Staff were really helpful to help mail us back an item which we left behind!

It is located right at the edge of Lijiang old town and it is easy to hail a taxi. Very convenient location as you can stroll right into the Old town area. Amazing hospitality from the hosts Eric and Matt. We were welcomed with some nice hot tea and flower cakes.They made us feel at home and helped us with booking the tour to the Jade dragon snow mountain. They arranged a cab to pick us up from the train station and also to drop us off (not free though). Really appreciate that they helped us carry our bags to the cab too. The breakfast is simple but yummy. Would highly recommend this homestay.

The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and it had all the amenities you need for a few days. The inn is located at the top of the hill so be ready for climbing the hill to reach this place. Dragon and his brother have been super helpful in giving us the best tips and the best guidelines for tours and city recommendations. They are always around to help you and they can also help you organising the tours around!Great place for visiting Lijiang for the first time, highly recommended!

It was my first time to celebrate the New Year in the ancient city. I chose a room with a view on the second floor facing the street. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the facilities were very good. The store also thoughtfully made a small bed for the child. Right outside our room is a coffee shop in the store where guests can sit alone. The coffee shop outside the door feels like a private living room at home. In the past two days, the children were doing their homework on the desk. During the break, we went downstairs and wandered around Sifang Street, which was very comfortable. Every time we come back from outside, the store always invites us to drink tea and eat melon seeds in the tea room on the first floor. The weather in Lijiang has been very good these days. We went to Lugu Lake and were lucky enough to reach the highest point of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The boss invites guests who are celebrating the New Year at the inn to have New Year's Eve dinner together in advance. The New Year's Eve dinner was very sumptuous, with the warmth of home, you won't feel lonely. It feels good to celebrate the New Year with a group of lovely strangers. I like the whole family at this inn in Lijiang Old Town 👍 After the New Year's Eve dinner, the boss invited everyone to come to 2 The coffee shop on the floor prepared freshly squeezed watermelon juice, as well as nuts, melon seeds and fruits for everyone, and invited everyone to watch the Spring Festival Gala together, some played cards, and some went out to stroll around the bustling ancient city. When the New Year's bell rang, we walked to the Lion Rock platform about 100 meters outside the store to watch the fireworks and quietly enjoy the flowers in the ancient city ~

During my Lijiang Shangrila trip on october 23rd to october 27th 2023, i stayed on 4 different hotels. Among 4 of them, this one is my least favorite. Their officer is quite nice actually. They helped to pick up my luggage when i arrived, showed me the way to the hotel, and helped to bring my luggage to the parking area. Their service during afternoon tea session was also perfect. The let down part comes from its price to value factor. This hotel has some rooms which their price are more expensive than 5 stars hotel. I have stayed in its most expensive room and the view is far from the pictures we saw in trip.com. their officer even not botheref to clean the room's window which becomes the specialty of this room. the best viewing area in this hotel is in its cafe, so if you still want to stay in this hotel just stay in its standard room and go to its cafe for picture. It also doesnt provide breakfast before 8 AM. It's the house's policy but it just not suitable for me who need to move in the morning. Nobody can speak english so that it's quite challenging for me who can not speak chinese at all. It was informed in trip.com that they provided ”good bye” snack in the evening but during my stay they didnt offer it to me. When i asked about it, the officer said that it's not available anymore. I know it just a simple thing, but they need to update the newest information. The other thing is parking area. It's not really closed with the hotel and the way from parking area to the hotel is not flat. The officer of this hotel will help you, but still, if you have many luggages you better think twice before staying inside the old town area.

酒店位置很好，在麗江古城的制高點，酒店有專人提前聯繫告知位置，建議打一個出租車，因為網約車有可能沒法開到最頂上，景區裏面出租車可以開到“獅子山景區售票處”，在這個定位的位置店裡工作人員會提前在此等待客人，酒店有專人幫忙拿行李，店裡工作人員帶路走到酒店，路有點小遠，古城的石頭路比較難走，但是到達酒店后就會發現這一路都是值得的，在酒店的大廳二樓和三樓平台，是可以觀景的公共區域，能一覽古城全景，白天和夜景都是超美，店裡有一隻德文捲毛貓，超乖的一隻小黑喵，酒店房間裡布置絕了，有很有氛圍感的加濕壁爐，電器設備也配備的很有品質，智能控制的燈和窗帘，戴森吹風機和戴森的加濕器，超給力的空調和超大嵌入式浴缸，房間很大，裝修的很好看，酒店服務也超好，歡迎水果很豐盛，也很新鮮，第二天早上也有按照時間準備早餐，還免費送機到機場，走的時候幫忙拿行李還一路把我們送到車子邊上，總體是一次很滿意的體驗，江蘇太熱了，麗江溫度很舒服，是避暑的好地方，下次帶父母過來玩還住這裏～～

Staying at the Zhazha Guanjing Inn was a highlight of visiting Lijiang. Perched on the hill overlooking the city, the courtyard was a perfect place to relax and watch the sun descend over the city. (Another good thing about the hotel being on the hill is that its a short walk away from transportation. No steep climbs with luggage up and down the winding streets.) The rooms are super modern and very comfortable. It's not easy finding beds in Chinese tourist areas that meet western standards, but this hotel exceeded those standards. I felt like I was in a luxury hotel. The staff is attentive and friendly. They have a setup for tea service before or after a long day of sightseeing. Its in the Ancient Town area, so easy access to everything. The only inconvenience (which cant be helped) is the smallness of the courtyard. If young kids are present, the franticness of their playing is amplified. Fortunately, the other guests were chill and had the same energy as myself. I highly recommend this hotel. If I visit Lijiang again, I will definitely stay here.

The hotel location is excellent inside Lijiang ancient town. Is convenient and is within walking distance to all shops and eateries. We stayed in a duplex room and they serve a sumptuous breakfast in a fining room with an amazing bird’s eye view of the old city. Simply beautiful scenery. Our hotel host was a wonderful young man named 小伟 Xiao Wei who make an effort to explain the history and places in Lijiang and even helped us to book a driver, cable car tickets to the Jade Dragon Snow mountain and the Lijiang Impression show. We had a wonderful time there even managed to go to the Blue Moon lake with such beautiful scenery and turquoise blue lakes. Great guy and he arranged for our pickup at the railway station and also our luggage to be carried to and from the hotel to car. In view of the walk up cobbled streets the location may not be suitable for elderly folks although it was ok for both my husband in his 70s and myself in my 60s. Love the ancient town and many of its hillside hidden gens cafes

Facilities: The room we stayed in was quite large. The bathroom was separated from dry and wet areas, with a humidifier and air conditioner. There was no TV. Health: The room is quite clean because the new facilities are better. Service: We were received by the beautiful lady Fei'er, who was very nice. She greeted us when we came in and out, invited everyone to drink tea, and was very talkative. Minsu provides one-to-one service, you can contact her if you have any questions. There is an airport pick-up and drop-off service, but unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to experience it this time. Environment: Halfway up the mountainside of Lion Rock in the ancient city, there is a parking lot at the back door. It is easy to get in and out, and there will be guys to help carry your luggage. You can take pictures of the snow-capped mountains from the hotel. Just take a photo and take a look at it

這家客棧真的超棒的，二樓的觀景平台視野是真的好，不想出門就在這聽聽歌看看風景也不錯，可以遠眺雪山，俯瞰古城。老闆人也有趣，會和你說注意事項和推薦旅行攻略，不要踩景區的坑。在麗江住了快一個星期，本來衹訂了三天，因為喜歡這裏的氛圍又續住了兩次。平時沒事的時候就陪老闆客人喝喝茶聊聊天。還和老闆開玩笑，下次再來麗江還住這，給他當義工。
