Family-friendly Hotels in Kunshan

The room is big enough and spacious, and the service is very good. The breakfast buffet is rich and of good quality. It also comes with two complimentary Japanese food. It is super cost-effective. I chose the hotel based on the hotel rankings on Ctrip. It is very objective. Overall, I am very satisfied👍

Motivated to write a review as there was not too much information when I was booking. Location It is outside the scenic area (read paid entry). However it is just 100m from one of the entrances making it easy to enter. Use baidu maps to locate it as it is not correctly pinpointed elsewhere. They do offer a pickup service I think if you call to inform them. Not sure from where though. Rooms 3 storey building with different themed rooms. Beautiful design throughout and modern - such juxtaposition against the surroundings. The main difference with the Mulan lodgings in the scenic area is that there is underfloor heating which makes it a lot more comfortable in winter. The family room I booked had a very nice Kohler bathtub which we took advantage of Food There is no breakfast options by the hotel but there are many food options around and just outside the hotel. Mulan runs a beautifully designed restaurant inside the scenic area which again stands out from the other more traditionally designed restaurants. Prices are a little more but the ambience and service are excellent. Service The reception staff was oddly not fond of making eye contact or any sort of small talk. He does answer directed questions but is nothing close to friendly or warm. He also did not offer any information on checking us in and we had to ask for information re wifi access and entry to scenic area etc the cleaning ladies are very pleasant though. Conclusions Overall, it is a beautiful place to stay in with good location and rooms. There are not much by the way of amenities or service but I would stay here again should I come by Zhouzhuang.

The hotel has a strategic location and is convenient for travel (very close to Tinglin Garden). The lobby is elegant and grand, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the restaurant has rich ingredients. Ms. Chang at the front desk was warm and thoughtful, with detailed introductions and a sweet smile. She also provided us with a baby cot in the guest room; the lobby staff greeted us warmly and helped us carry our luggage. As for flaws, the door from the basement to the elevator room is not automatic, and there are steps, making it inconvenient to carry large luggage or strollers; there is a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the men's area of ​​the lobby bathroom. But despite its faults, it was a great stay.

I had a wonderful time there, my husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and the hotel was kind enough to give us an upgraded room with a bottle of red and excellent follow through service. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were amazing also. The pool was not what we expected so we didn't use it but everything else was truly excellent from check in to check out...would definitely do it again!

We spent 3 nights at the Fairmont on Yangcheng Lake recently the second week of Chinese New Year. The hotel and accomodation was excellent. We were kindly upgraded to the Fairmont Gold floor and were fantastically looked after by the team there. The rooms were large, with good facilities and quality finishing (loved the shower especially). The hotel has massive gardens and outdoor activities to do (we did some Archery) and is linked to a farm as well. It also has an indoor pool and gym area too. With the weather so cold the outdoor activities were limited (no Kayaking etc). It would have been good if they had a table tennis / pool table / darts area for indoor activities. With the location there are no supermarkets or restaurants near by so you are restricted to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was expansive and great quality. The room service options were varied and good quality and they did have a Chinese restaurant open each night. The buffet restaurant is only open at night on the weekend. If we came again we would come in warmer weather when the water sports were open and the outdoor pool was open to really get the most out of the stay.

A nice location in central Kunshan makes this hotel a good choice for those who want to get to know the city - it's a short walk from shopping centres, restaurants and there is a large wet market just opposite. While the establishment would not win any great accolades for luxury, we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful breakfast nook situated on a third floor annex adjacent to a pleasant roof garden (although no swimming pool). The breakfast itself was acceptable and I have no complaints about the service either. There is a lovely park behind the hotel also, perfect for children to play and evening strolls.

Facilities: We booked 3 rooms, one of which is a suite. If you bring children, you can sleep in a small bed alone. There is air conditioning, floor heating and a bathtub in the room~ Hygiene: At first glance, you can tell that the proprietress is very attentive and the room is very clean. Environment: The environment is really good. When you walk in, there are trees, rivers and smoke. It feels like you are in Lijiang. Life is very slow~ Service: The hostess of the B&B picked us up at the gate, took us in, and introduced us to the scenic spots along the way, which was great! Tickets to Zhouzhuang Ancient Town for two persons: The room we booked includes tickets, which is very convenient~ Self-service freshly ground coffee for two people: the coffee machine is self-service, and tea is also self-service. There are also many fruits, sugars, and snacks. It is recommended~

This hotel has great value for money. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the waiters are friendly and helpful. Especially the breakfast, which has many special features. Many snacks are not available in other five-star hotels. They are very attentive. Next to it is China Merchants Garden City, where you can find all kinds of shopping and food. I will stay here again next time I come.
