It was a mesmerizing experience ever. At check in, got an upgrade to the best room (Executive Suite). Luxurious spacious well furnished styled room. You literally don't want to leave the hotel. Spoiled for choice with views of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and mountain on the other. Watching Dolphins from the comfort of your patio. Enjoyed the heated pool. Meals very delicious (breakfast, lunch or dinner). Watching the sunset, aah priceless The stuff is warm and very responsive. Their welcome makes you feel like you are home @Phila, @Thobela. This was our best by far. We needed a break and it was worth it to choose the Twelve Apostles. First time ai visited the hotel was in 2004. After 20 years, it remains my best by far. We will surely return

Steenberg is a fantastic property with excellent service and food. We stayed there for 2 nights after 3 nights down by the waterfront. This was a perfect combination. We had dinner both on the Trym restaurant and Bistro62. They are both very good and I recommend that you book the tables in advance. The only thing we did not like was that local residents from Capetown come up to the property in the morning and stay by the pool all day with their babys so there are no sun chairs for the paying guests (there were 4 of them plus children when we were there). We were lucky to get 1 sun bed and 1 chair. I asked them if they were allowed to be there and they said that they sometimes took a massage, but they were clearly there only to use the pool facilities.

We stayed here for 6 nights at the start of January and wished we didn’t have to leave! The guest house itself if absolutely stunning, with lovely communal areas and a fabulous pool. The location is so convenient to walk through the vineyards for a spot of lunch or just a short drive to the waterfront or camps bay. We felt so relaxed here as the setting is so private and peaceful. Our room was very spacious, exceptionally clean and with the comfiest bed. Breakfast each morning was very fresh and with a nice range. We particularly loved the complimentary cake served each afternoon! On top of everything above, the thing that really made this guest house extra special are the hosts Jacques & Jenny. They are both so welcoming and happy to help with restaurant recommendations or day trip ideas. We honestly felt so at home with these two and are already planning our return trip! A most relaxing location, indoors or out, a beautiful building and very pleasant staff. The whole layout is charming and some of the outdoor dining is around an open air swimming pool. The lunch menu was not a wide choice, Asian dishes or burger types, my taste would have been for some more traditional offerings, though that said quality was good and well served.
