The hotel is located on the first line from the sea, no, it’s not like that, the hotel is on the zero line, the pool is panoramic, that is, you leave the pool and you are already in the sea and vice versa. The hotel is simply surrounded by greenery, even in the hottest weather, everything is in the shade. The area is constantly cleared of fallen leaves, the rooms were cleaned daily and most importantly, efficiently. The breakfasts were the same, but we always filled up with coffee, tea, four types of juices, in general the breakfasts were not very bad. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The hotel has bike rentals. We also ordered a transfer to Krabi at the hotel, everything was organized with 5+ ratings.

Everything is fine! Excellent location, both relative to the sea and to nightlife, a large selection of rooms, both standard and bungalows, satisfactory breakfast, green area. Clean, neat. Swimming pool, sun loungers, umbrellas, towels, everything is good. The sediment was left from the guests (Northern Europe), who lay out towels on sunbeds in the morning and come to dinner. Of course, you can always replace someone else's with your own, but the staff is somehow silent about this.

Excellent hotel, all surrounded by greenery. The beach is equipped with a sufficient number of sun loungers, and the sea is equipped with a jellyfish net. The area is constantly cleaned. The service is excellent. The monotonous breakfasts get a little boring, however, only here we saw that they serve mangoes and mangosteens for breakfast.

Had a fabulous stay at The Hive on Lamai beach. The hotel was well looked after and beautifully placed on the beach. Our room was 301 (second floor) and a really good size. Each room had a balcony whatever floor you were on and we felt the second floor was nice because it wasn’t overlooked at all. Lots of loungers around the pool and on the beach. On our fourth day it was a bit busier so harder to get a bed with shade. Nui on reception was really helpful and went the extra mile for every query we had. The hotel includes a complimentary breakfast which was perfect, and you could order additional food if you fancied. Staff were attentive. Beach is beautiful and close to lots of restaurants, bars and a walk to the Lamai view point. Would love to stay again some day. Thank you!

The Hive Hotel, Lamai, Koh Samui. We have just enjoyed our second visit to the wonderful Hive Hotel, Lamai, where we had a very pleasant stay. All of the members of staff are kind, attentive and extremely welcoming. A special thank you to Prawit Suma and to all of his colleagues. The breakfast is fantastic. It is served in a pleasant dining room with views to the sea and pool and the food is always fresh and delicious. The kitchen and waiting staff are always jolly and helpful. The rooms, though a little dated, are of a good size with very comfortable beds, aircon and private balconies. The hotel is right on the beach and free sun beds are plentiful. Thank you to all staff members of the Hive. As Arnie said “we’ll be back”. Gennady and Debby, London. Stayed in The Hive in March 2023 and February 2024
