Absolute Sanctuary

I did the 12 days Absolute essence program. It was my first completely solo retreat experience. I ended up extending my stay. Zero complaints. LOVE EVERYTHING and EVERYONE at the sanctuary. Amazing fitness and spa facilities. Amazing wellness and holistic experiences available. I loved the detox program loved everything about the place and amazing flawless service. Can’t wait to go back soon.

What a wonderful stay! Beautiful rooms, gorgeous pool, amazing spa and healthy fresh food. All the staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable and made me feel very at home. The programs are excellent and very flexible to fit individual needs. I really enjoyed the individual pilates and yoga sessions. I did not want to leave at the end of the week and am already planning a return trip.

I am a burnt out founder from Silicon Valley. I had gained 15lbs over the last 5 years with all the stress. My body was so inflamed by the time I got here. I decided to do the 7 day Ultimate Detox. I actually ended up doing a water fast and lost 6lbs in 7 days. I honestly feel like a million bucks. It also made me realize the work I have to do when I get home - I’m cleaning out my pantry and going to incorporate regular fasts in my life. Everyone from Jee, the manager (who upgraded me because I was so tired when I got here) to Jana, the amazing yoga and meditation instructor, to Stephanie, the somatic healer, and to Kevin and Irene, the fitness instructors - everyone on staff was incredible. They all knew you by name. Knew what program you’re on. It was very personal service. Beyond that, I met other likeminded people. Business owners who were burnt out, high achieving people who may have been mourning a loved one, and some folks that were very health conscious and chose to take a fitness holiday instead of your average beach vacation. I met someone who was here for her third time and was staying 60 days! The last day I was here, I did a sound meditation and a somatic therapy session. I was so blissed out. It was the happiest I’d been in months. I just want to thank absolute sanctuary for an all around incredible experience. I’ll be back again. Btw, they never asked me to write a review. Not once does the hotel request their guests to write anything. They are super classy like that.

Wonderful hotel. The food at the Love Kitchen is both healthy and tasty and the staff are very friendly and professional. The spa treatments, exercise and wellness programmes are of highest quality. I'd highly recommend for anyone who wants a peaceful break in beautiful Koh Samui, especially if you also enjoy practising Yoga and Reformer Pilates.

I too had a transformative experience at the Absolute Sanctuary. A complete 360 rejuvenation of mind, body and spirit. The resort was well thought out, clean, well structured and intimate for solo travellers. Highly recommended. Thank you to the kitchen, wellbeing and masseuse teams alike. I will definitely be back!

My stay at Absolute Sanctuary was amazing. I booked the Pilates Reformer Bootcamp and extended an extra week to relax and enjoy my time even more. The facilities are impeccable, the staff are excellent and everything about my stay has been personal and thoughtful. I also enjoyed workshops and personal sessions with other practitioners in Reiki and healing and these experiences helped to ground me personally. Meditation in the mornings with Jana was one of my favorite activities. The space is beautiful and set at the top of a hill with lovely sites and sounds. Private Pilates with Kevin was also some of my best time spent here learning to help and move my body. Lastly, I can’t leave a review without speaking to Love Kitchen and their phenomenal food. Thank you ladies! I can’t recommend Absolute Sanctuary enough. I travelled here to decompress and plan for the next transition in my life after quitting my job. I am leaving relaxed, joyful and replenished. I plan to return and will love seeing all the staff again.

Absolute Sanctuary has been just the mind/body/soul escape I've been needing. I inquired about the suitability of booking one of their packaged programs because I am pregnant, and Jee created a custom pregnancy program for me for the length of stay I was in need of. Everything has been wonderful to say the least. Pick up from the airport was easy - no waiting required. The fact that they provide you with a schedule ahead of time with all your services/appointments booked made planning simple. They were able to block off time I requested for certain tours, and were also flexible with adding in other treatments. There was ample time throughout the day to relax by the pool and reflect. The room (Seaview deluxe) was clean and well appointed. The view itself was minimal but I enjoyed watching the sun rising above the water on my balcony every morning, so I found it worth it. They warned me of the stairs ahead of time, which would be manageable for anyone with a decent level of fitness, but it definitely provided a good leg/glute workout going up them a few times a day. The staff was all so kind and have provided wonderful service though. The food and juices have been so delicious and nourishing. Any health enthusiast would love it! The spa treatments (prenatal massages, facials, and scrubs) have been so relaxing, and everyone there was so sweet and caring. The amount of care they all had for me was astounding compared to what you'd normally get in the US. In my 1:1 prenatal yoga classes, Jana took great care in ensuring I was comfortable and safe in all the movements, and she provided great tips for how to practice throughout my pregnancy. The life coaching sessions included in my program integrated well with everything else I was working through, and Stephanie was wonderful at holding space for me providing recommendations. The shuttles they offered to the nearby beaches and night markets provided sufficient opportunities to explore more parts of the island, though I believe they are also able to arrange taxis for you as well. There were daily group workshops (free) available as well as alternative therapies for a fee, which I participated in a couple of times, which were enriching and powerful. I enjoyed how small the resort was, making it feel like a tranquil oasis, plus I got to meet several amazing solo travelers. The absence of smoking/drinking was very refreshing too, which added to the overall feeling of being focused on holistic health. Overall, it's been a beautiful and transformative experience. It has been everything I could have hoped for as I prepare for this life transition. I feel rejuvenated, nurtured, at peace, and thankful to have had this opportunity to have myself (and my baby) well taken care of on this journey.

I enjoy every day at this beautiful place, the offer is outstanding. I could not have imagined a better place to relax and enegie load like this. Very special for me was the breath healing session with ALLEN LOTTMAN, the session has activated my calm pole in me and I feel renewed and free, I can warmly recommend it to everyone :)

First of all: Over all an amazing experience. I am a journalist and I travel a lot all over the world. This is wonderful. The details, the small resort, the restaurant, the classes, the rooms. Branding is on point here. The food is amazing, the staff is great. The whole resort i a non-smoking (and no alcohol) resort. We really enjoyed being here! Especially the breathwork-session with Allen Lottman was outstanding! It was a about 90 minute session and it was for sure mindblowing and life-changing. I was able to let go and to release so much pain and trauma. Thanks again, Allen! I hope to see you soon again!
