We stayed on 14 - 16 february and booked our room with Agoda and the room was a good size, the hotel is beautiful and has all the amenities, so we applaud their environment. The front desk staff were very nice. Especially Heru, who arranged our trips and acted our tour driver . He took us trip to Borobudur , mount Merapi and Prambanan because on as we were not familiar with Yogyakarta. he also helped us to contact and book hotel at bromo , very patient and enthusiastic, emphasized all the details. It was a great pleasure to meet Heru.

This is a fancy place in a historical building in walking distance from the historical city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the cuisine is excellent and the breakfast buffet wowed us. Food is served i.a. on an inner court, which is peaceful and quiet, away from the street noise. The pool, lays protected, and doesn’t have direct sunlight as of noon, which comes handy since these are the tropics.

I have stayed in many hotels in many countries, I can say, in my opinion it is not an exaggeration if I say that Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta staff is the friendliest among other hotels I have visited. You should try to stay in this hotel, you will understand what I mean. Unfortunately, the breakfast at this hotel is below what I expected, western food has not many choices and the taste is mediocre, there are many kinds of Indonesian food, I think this hotel is trying to highlight Indonesian flavors, but I feel that only a handful of Indonesian dishes are delicious in my opinion, namely Bakmie Bangka, Batagor and Gorengan (mendoan and bakwan vegetables), the soto was a disappointment. However, I still feel satisfied staying at this hotel, because it has friendly staff and comfortable beds

We booked the Melia Purosani directly through their website for a number of stays as it provided a good value price which included a 10-minute massage per room booking, a discount on food, and a room upgrade. On our first stay, we were upgraded to a ”Level” room on the sixth floor which came with Level Lounge privileges including afternoon tea. Having re-booked for three separate nights our expectations were that we would receive the same benefits. It seems our first stay involved a better-than-usual upgrade and we were very embarrassed to be turned away from the Level Lounge on our next stay - despite being in a Level Lounge room. Live and learn! The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are well-presented. Reception staff is courteous and helpful, and so too was the concierge at the Level Lounge who ”righted” the embarrassing situation we faced. The gardens and pool area are tropical, leafy, and well-maintained. Wi-Fi was adequate, but not super fast/ The property is within easy walking distance of Jalan Malioboro and other local attractions. I have rated the hotel's less-than-excellent restaurant El Patio separately. Truth be told, service and afternoon tea in the Level Lounge was superior to the restaurant.

Villa Rosseno is a dream. From start to finish, the service, location and food has been the very best I have experienced and I have travelled all over the world. Meggie, Rusdi, Pee Wee, Teety and the rest of the team are the most beautiful people and took such good care of us, making our experience all the more special. Our villa was stunning and of course the kids loved the cats and the private swimming pool. The local villages around the hotel are also very picturesque and worth exploring on foot. The food was the BEST food I’ve eaten in Asia. We stayed for 9 nights and could have easily stayed for another 9 as there is so much to see in the area. To find a stunning accommodation which also includes a driver, food, private pool and laundry is very rare in Indonesia so you would be stupid not to book Villa Rosseno. You won’t be disappointed. My family and I would love to go back one day, a truly magical place with wonderful people, we will miss you all.

Enjoyed stay here throughly. Very pleasant service staff and facilities are all new. Room was really comfortable and everything worked really well. Sofa can be a little old and stained but not a problem cos we don’t sit on it as much. Can’t stay much of the location as we just took a cab everywhere but lots of gojek food options around. Will highly recommend anyone to stay here

Minor thing from my side : because Im smoker , they dont provide smoking room for deluxe room type.This hotel only provide smoking room for superior room type. Maybe in the future this hotel can provide smooking for all room type . Overall staying in this hotel is highly recommended. Thank You

It's an upscale hotel. The staff are very welcoming and nice of them to upgrade us to Deluxe Premiere Double room. Bed is very comfortable and air conditioning is good (esp. for the hot weather). Cleanliness can be improved (eg toilet). Our room is right in front of the lift but we were not being disturbed by noises. Breakfast spread is good! Quite a few eateries around the hotel. Otherwise, taking Grab taxi to places is convenient and reasonable fares.

The receptionist did not explain regarding check in procedure and took my passport and share with Archipelago International and thick the boxes on my behalf. We have brought the matter up to the management. During breakfast the staff took our photos without our permission while we were eating. Kindly look into this matter. Do not take for granted on the privacy of guests.

I have a great stay in FaveHotel Malioboro. The only downside is there is no fitness room and the mosque is beside the hotel. Every morning we will be awaken by the prayers. Other than that, everything is good, near to Malioboro street. In addition ,I would like to give compliment to Miss April and the hotel driver. Miss April was really helpful and caring. I fell down when I jogged on 28/8, the staff immediately called the driver to fetch me to the 24 hours clinic. The driver help me to get the medicine and pay the medical fees first as I didn't bring money to the clinic. Miss April helped me to purchase the train tickets to Yogyakarta International Airport as I was not able to do the online payment. I really feel warm. All the staff are well manner, there provide welcome drinks and every floor has a free water cooler. The buffet breakfast is good. The hotel also provides free shuttle to Train Station. Thanks again to Favehotel Malioboro! If I come again, I will choose to stay here again.

The hotel is near to the Train Station, but the window sound proofing is poor. We cannot sleep the whole night, due to constant beeping sound of the train preparing to leave. It is a sharp beeping sound that goes on the whole night. Even when it stop, you can still hear it play back in your mind. Our facing is facing their pool, and sound from the pool, even conversation at wee hours of the night can be heard in our room. Service Personnel are helpful and nice

Me and family were staying here for 2 nights. Five of us were so happy with the room which was completed with its amenities. The various breakfast was so good. The Gudeg, Omelette, Sunny Side Up, Fried Rice, Chicken Porridge, Strawberry & Manggo Puddings as well as Milky Coffee for accompanying me at night. The location of the hotel is in the crowd and very close to the city center like Malioboro and Jogja Zero Kilometer. Many culinary options are also around the hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy, except for the refrigerator which smells bad when opened. but it’s not a problem.just hope to improve in the future.(we just checked in and haven’t put anything in the refrigerator).the whole staff i met almost all were friendly. Almost, if only when checking out the receptionist didn't leave me for a few seconds and there was no smile at all. It really seems something is doing. But can you at least smile and ask me to wait? Not just a glance and then busy back with the paper. The intelligence in front of where I waited for a food delivery order was friendly not to play. Great appreciation for a great woman at the motorpark who promptly helped me and my friend took out our rental motor which was blocked by other motors. I know for girls it wasn’t easy. But he was very agile though it seemed difficult. Overall, my holiday in Jogja felt warm in Forriz. Will stay again in Forriz? Definitely! Thank you. :)

So the hotel lobby is very nice and inviting, and the rooms are modern and extremely clean. We opted for the upgraded room which I felt for the few dollars spent, was well worth it. The breakfast is amazing, with literally hundreds of choices and a fruit stand with mangosteen and other exotic fruits. ” Full on” Western, Asian and Indonesian breakfast choices. Bed and linens were comfortable. English is not well spoken or understood by most of the staff, although we eventually found someone that could communicate with us. The only complaint I had was that, in preparation for New Year's Eve festivities, they allowed a contractor to assemble from scratch--along with the accompanied drilling/banging/sawing--a group of wooden caricatures. We sat down to have dinner in the hotel restaurant but couldn't because of the loud noises the contractor was making far across the opposite end of the lobby. When we brought this disturbance to the attendant, who apologized but said nothing to the contractor. So we ended up NOT eating in the hotel restaurant and leaving. The contractor had his electric saws on the lobby furniture, and was using other lobby chairs at a sawhorse. Comical, yet simply baffling.

A small towel is available, but not related bed cover, only kitchens and lakes, but the bed on bamboo bars is comfortable, you just have to be careful not to hurt at the ends of the bars. Overall, this is a very recommendable place for those who want to see the important attractions of the city.

I had booked 4 nights (02 Feb 2023 to 06 Feb 2023) at horaios Malioboro hotel. However, I only stayed for 2 nights. I have to checked out 2 nights early because I did not feel Safe and secure to stay to the end of my booking. First night I stay here, there is NO safety deposit box which the hotel advertise on Agoda they have safety deposite box. The next morning, I went down to restaurant for breakfast. One of the staff from FnB looked at most of the time while im having my breakfast. The way that staff looked at me, like im a criminal. The second night of my stay, I released that the room door DOES NOT lock by itself. So, I complained it that night. The front office send a technician to fix it. However, the technician could not fix the lock. The technician suggested to me to lock it manually from inside. I told him what happen im leaving the room? How can I lock it from inside? He Said nothing he can do about it. They dont even thinking to move me to other room. So I have to check out 2 nights early. And No, the hotel DO NOT refund my money for 2 nights. For those who want to book at this (horaios malioboro hotel) better think twice.

One of the hotels in Jogja that are really affordable, about 300 thousand. The location is on parangtritis street, not far from sari Park and kidul square. The hotel is minimalist but comfortable, the room is quite spacious in size with a view of jogja city. the breakfast is pretty good.moreover,there is a sky lounge connected to the swimming pool,the ala carte food is delicious,especially the spicy chicken is awesome. There is a swimming pool facility that has a good view in the afternoon, semi-indoor so you don't have to be afraid of heat. With this complete facilities, I think it is highly recommended for a holiday to Jogja.

Visiting Yogyakarta on last September 19 for family gateaway. Choose this hotel because the location is at Malioboro. The service from the entrance until the restaurant was excelent. The rooms was clean and comfortable. This hotel has swimming pool at the roof top and has magnificent view during the night. So happy to back to this lovely city. Zest Hotel is always being my top priority when visit this special city. The location is very strategic, nearby city, Malioboro, Lempuyangan station etc. Zest Hotel will be your perfect accommodation choice during stay in this city. I was greet by Chacha, Rindi, and Aditya that assist during check in time. They were awesome, understand and know how to make the customer feels like home. Putra also give very quick service when i asking to deliver something to my room. The restaurant was good as always, Eka greet me with warm smile. Well, this is not my first stay at this hotel. And definitely so happy to stay again. The room was good, clean, and tidy. The Room Attendant have great hospitality. On this occasion was so special, since i went with my wife. The service was beyond my imagination, since they give us a memorable surprise in the room. Well we are not asking any special arrangement during reservation, but they did it. So touchfull ;-) Thank you Zest for always being my second home in Jogja and make our vacation more and more than happy ^_^
