夏の気配もすっかり消えて寒くなり、何処か温泉に入れてかつ安い宿に泊まりに行きたい気分だなぁと思って色々探していたら伊東のこの宿を見つけ、GoToキャンペーンを利用して宿泊。素泊まり・バス、トイレ付き客室・貸切風呂利用権つきで4700円ほどでした。 まず、立地は最高といっていいでしょう。伊東駅から徒歩5分圏内、周辺には豊富な飲食店。館内での食事がなくても不便さは感じません。もう少し足を伸ばして海沿いの道路を15分くらい歩けばコンビニやドンキホーテ、道の駅なんかもあったりして、万が一忘れ物をした時の急な買い出しや、お土産の物色もできます。宿から道路を挟んで向かい側はすぐ海で、オレンジビーチという海水浴場になっています。夏に海水浴に伊東に来ようと思ってる人には、この宿の立地の良さが更に際立つ事と思います。 さて、気になる中身ですが、老舗というだけあって、ぱっと見の外観の印象は結構というかだいぶ古く、海沿いに建っていることもあり潮風にさらされ外壁が痛んで見える為少々不安になります。調べたところ50年ほど前に建てられた建物を増改築を繰り返して現在に至っているようです。公式ホームページにも建物の外観をはっきり写した写真を見た記憶がなかったので、いざ初めてその姿を見ると一瞬「えっ、アレなの？」と言う印象を抱きますが、一歩中に足を踏み入れたらロビーは綺麗なので安心です。更に、「この道うん十年」というような貫禄たっぷりなフロント係のおじさん達が温かく出迎え、とっても丁寧に受付と館内の説明をしてくださいます。 部屋まではエレベーターか階段で向かいます。私の部屋は上層階だったので、エレベーターに乗ります。雑居ビルにあるような小さなエレベーターが一機あるだけなので、このご時世「密」を気にする人には気になるかもしれません。 エレベーターを降りると、目の前にはなんとも味のある木目のドアが並んでいて、それが客室への入り口になっています。そのドアをコレまたなんとも味のある、「かめや」の名に因んだ「亀」を象ったプラスチックのキーホルダーのついたシリンダーキーで開けて中へ。 お部屋は畳敷き、広さにして10畳の和室です。やはり古いのか歩くとちょっとミシミシ言います。でもちゃんと綺麗にお掃除が行き届いているのでさほど気になりません。部屋に漂う畳の香りが気分を落ち着かせてくれます。広い空間に一人でいるせいもあるのかもしれませんが、保温性はあまり良くないなか少々肌寒く感じる事があります。エアコンがついているので軽く暖房を入れようとしましたが、残念ながら客側で冷房・暖房の切り替えは出来ない設定にされていました。季節の変わり目の微妙な気温の時期に行くときは、ある程度温度調節の出来る格好で行った方が良いかもしれません。 バス・トイレも付いていて、トイレはキチンとウォシュレット付きの水洗便所と、現代に対応しています。浴衣、タオル、バスマットなどのアメニティ類は一通り揃っており、その他電気ポット、グラス、栓抜きなんかも置いてありました。窓の外は相模湾が一望できる、いわゆるオーシャンビューです。生憎の天気でしたが、ふとした晴れ間に虹を見ることができました。 私が泊まった6階の部屋のすぐ向かいには、大浴場「銀河」がありました。チェックイン開始から深夜の2時ごろまでは男湯、それ以降は女湯となる時間での入れ替え制。別館地下にあるもう一方の大浴場「深海」と、交互に男女の利用時間が入れ替わるシステムになっています。今回は「銀河」のみ利用しましたが、良くも悪くも昔ながらの大浴場で、大浴場と言う割にはそれほど広いわけでもないという感じで、イマイチ面白みがないと言えばそうかもしれません。景色は山側を向いており、伊東の街並みを見渡すことができます。 貸し切り風呂は、チェックインの際に２種類の中から選びます。一つは屋根ありの展望風呂「ぐんじょうの湯」、もう一つは屋上の露天風呂「まんてんの湯」で、どちらに入るか希望を伝えた後、時間を決めます。時間設定は1時間おきになっていて、予約した時間の10分くらい前になるとお風呂の準備が出来ましたよとフロントの人が部屋に内線をかけてお知らせをしてくれます。そうしたらフロントまで鍵を受け取りに行き、予約した時間から45分以内に入浴を済ませ、鍵をフロントに返すというシステムになっています。45分以内で済ませるという点は、人によって長いと感じるか短いと感じるか、結構分かれると思います。 今回私は露天風呂「まんてんの湯」に入りました。良い感じにひんやりと冷たい空気の中で、屋根のない場所で、夜の海を眺めながら温泉に浸かる体験は心地よいものでした。晴れた日には星空も眺めることができて更に素敵なものになるに違いないでしょう。こちらの貸し切り風呂は割と後になって作られたものなのか、新しめの印象で綺麗でした。が、脱衣所の洗面所の天井に蜘蛛が巣を張っていてそれもその上で元気に動き回っていたのは少しなんとかして欲しかったかも。 総評としましては、首都圏から程よい距離にあって、古き良き日本の温泉宿を、手頃な値段で味わえる、という点ではとても良い宿だったと思います。 プランによって泊まることのできるお部屋だったり、入ることの出来るお風呂は様々ですので、事前にしっかり確認をして予約する事が大事です。バス・トイレなしという訳あり部屋なんかもあるそうなので、安さを重視する人はその辺も気をつけた方が良いかもしれません。

But please note that it is a little far away. Well, there is a supermarket just a few minutes walk away, so it's a good plan for traveling alone, and I think it's good because you can relax. If you want to luxury, there are various plans, so I think it is good to choose and stay.

I used it for a few days back, but I stayed for the first time. It is convenient to use the day-trip hot spring hall after checking out on the day of the stay. The pool is also available at a discount price and full of elements that can be enjoyed quite. The room chose a large room with a veranda, but it may be good to be far from the main building and narrow. I was at the day trip hot spring hall and tried to use it open-air. It is not cheap, but you can relax with your family. The zashiki is also large. However, there is nothing to bring food and drink (with a refrigerator). The public bath is a great view open-air bath as well as a day trip. It becomes a little narrow version. It is a great view whenever you go.

Awesome experience, highly recommended! It's a good place to relax and relieve stress. You can wear pajamas in the hotel (including the restaurant) and the service attitude is impeccable. 1. We booked a room with a bathtub, and we could enjoy the mountain and sea views while taking a bath. When it's a little cold outside, it feels super refreshing to jump into the hot spring bathtub♨️ instantly. 2. There are many types of breakfast, mainly Japanese and Western style, Chinese style including Siomai😄. I personally think it is more delicious than those in big hotels. Friends who like Japanese breakfast will be in for a treat. 3. There is a lounge on the first floor, where you can have some snacks, drink some drinks, and chat with family and friends. 4. The dinner is very exquisite and the portion is large. There will be ramen after 9 o'clock. When we went there, it was Jigoku Ramen with black soup. It was delicious😋 5. The hotel is surrounded by small courtyards with single-family houses. You can walk to the beach in 30 minutes from the hotel and meet many diving enthusiasts.

I used it to dive with three companions. Because of the corona cherry blossoms, I didn't hit the search for a single room, and it was a fairly large room, and I made a reservation to make a social distance. It seems that there was a coupon use by a certain site and a prepaid discount, and about 6000 yen per person including hot water tax. It is a rich view in a luxurious room that doesn't usually make a reservation first, and it feels sorry to not stay with my wife. The public bath is also a natural hot spring, and the open-air bath is a source of water. The inner bath was written as being chlorine disinfected by circulation, but the smell of hot water is not known. There were sauna and water baths, and it was quite slow. The original is like a resort condominium, and the passage faces outdoors, but unless it is rained in the rain of the side hit, it is positive only for the noise like the corridor I felt it. I didn't have a meal, so I can't evaluate it there, but I think it is quite convenient to use it in a group of multiple people because there is a set of cooking equipment and a large refrigerator in the room. It is a big facility, but all the spaces are well air-conditioned and no negative points were found.

The hotel staff are very kind and courteous! Bonus point is that communication is no problem at all! This time I am traveling by car, and there is free parking space. Although the location is a little far from tourist attractions, there is no problem with driving by yourself! I was originally staying in a room with a shared bathroom, but luckily a room with a private bathroom was available. The hotel staff helped arrange the replacement. Thank you very much🙏 The only two nitpicks are that there is no elevator and the Japanese bathtub in the bathroom is a bit old and I don't dare to soak in it.

How to say... If I was young, I would like it very much when I first came to Japan. Because of the novel experience, I stepped on the creaking wooden floor in the century-old building, looking out the window at the pine cypress, the stream of ducks and the distant mountains. But, probably the expectation is a bit high or I am used to a good Japanese-style hot spring hotel, and maybe because I didn't book a room with a private bathroom, the first youth travel experience of my life, the overall feeling is average. Because the first floor is renovated, there are many spaces for gatherings or rest alone, one window and one view, harmonious and comfortable Japanese leisure atmosphere. There is even a computer (but of course it is not easy to use and cannot be turned on). The kitchenette is enough for one person to use, boiling water instant noodles and making tea. Room, general. It may rain and rain for a day, there are bugs. Public toilets are forced. It is also strange that I have lived in various Japanese-style hotels remodeled from centuries-old houses, including the use of public toilets, which are old but clean, comfortable and interesting, and even the Nagano Temple night stay, extremely simple, very comfortable and comfortable. But Khouse feels uncomfortable and unhygienic. Of course, foreigners like this, cultural wonders, party chats on the first floor, and sleep on the floor at night. Some foreigners who are not familiar with Japanese hot springs go directly into the pool. More responsive. In short, it is recommended for passengers who have not experienced the more nerve-racking of the Japanese-style old building hotel. The price is really not expensive, so don't compare with the hot spring hotels of thousands. It's not a meaning. Next door to the East China Sea Hall, the same style. There is history and culture, I personally feel that it is a bit old. Easy to eat nearby. Opposite the carp rice needs to be booked at least one day in advance (peak season). 4 minutes walk from the station taxi 8-10 minutes. Overall 3.5 points, the probability is my own problem. But my daughter also feels so-so. Youth travel is still suitable for young foreigners and first-time Japanese foreign families.

The extremely helpful staff pick you up from the station and explain everything about this traditional Ryokan hotel. The onsen hot springs are lovely (bear in mind nakedness is obligatory), the rooms are clean, if dated, and we especially liked the complimentary Japanese robes and the traditional breakfast. It's not too far to walk to the main part of Ito town and the seaside.

We spent one night here but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel gives a very tranquil feel with unique Japanese way of garden design outside the lobby lounge and nice view from our room. Both dinner and breakfast were the best during this holiday and were taken to our sizeable room with every items explained. In addition, complimentary ice cream was offered at the lounge after dinner. Onsen was very nicely maintained.

This ryokan is small, clean and lovely and warm. Our room (Oshima Room) was large with new tatami mats and lovely comfortable futons. The breakfast included in the room rate was delicious and home cooked in the traditional Japanese way. There are two bathhouses and we used them both on our two night stay. They are both clean and well maintained and you book them for private use. Close to supermarket and restaurants, it is walking distance t the Izu-Kogen railway station. The hosts were friendly and drove us to the start of the Jogasaki Coast Walk and Mt Omaru. Would definitely stay here again. There are many attractions in the area
