The Hilton Hiroshima is a brand new hotel and we really enjoyed the design, spaciousness, and the breakfast. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming, and has all the facilities of a 5 star hotel. The staffs speak fluent English so there no problem in communication. We had a spacious room with king bed, with also plenty of space for a round table. The bathroom was also very big and beautifully designed. The best part of our stay was definitely breakfast, and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying at this hotel. It was a luxury buffet breakfast with over 100 choices of food in Japanese and international styles, including hot food such as udon and soba which were cooked per your request. Parking at the hotel costs 2500 yen per night for guests staying at the hotel. There may be cheaper options nearby as there are a lot of parking in Hiroshima.

VERY convenient location - just steps from Hiroshima train station. Staff are very nice and helpful. Room was on high floor and very nice view. Since it is in transit center, it is very easy to take trains, trolleys, subways around town. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. They put an extra bed in room since there were 3 of us, but it made the room a bit crowded. The 2 doubles would have been comfortable enough for us. Room and bath were very nicely appointed - I’m not sure about other travelers’ criticism - I think the layout was quite typical for Japanese rooms. It was also very convenient to have the change machine in the lobby to exchange currency. Breakfasts were good and staff were quite accommodating

The female staff remembered the room I asked before and responded immediately. The staff was very good, but the room was dusty and sorry. The level where the kusami did not stop all the time. The body sponge was deteriorating, and the hole was empty and many were uncomfortable. It is a common type of sponge in a business hotel, but I saw such a deteriorated sponge for the first time. I have been taken care of by this hotel many times, but it is the first time that it is terrible. There is a clear problem with hygiene.

From the former local people, I was able to stay at the ”health pension hall”? The image of the hall is strong, but it feels like a cheap price zone in the pack tour now. It is close to Peace Park, but the location is halfway and the city trams are not available. However, because it is a main street to the residential area sandwiched between the city trams, the bus is very frequent and it is not early at night, but you can ride almost without a timetable. In front of the hotel, the route 24 of the red bus (Hiroshima bus) and the Yoshishima line (Hiroshima station ～ hachichobori ～ Kamiya Cho ~ Peace Park) pass through the main area at the stop called 'kakomachi' (next to peace park), so it is worth using as well as the city tram It should be quite old, but it doesn't look old and the building is relatively clean I think the room is renovated and spacious and comfortable. I think it is better than the hotel in the center, but because it is a business hotel, the amenities are small, and the soundproofing measures such as the wall are poor. The elementary school student on the day of the school excursion occupied the floor below, but the sound of running around seemed to be quite echoing, and there are many student groups depending on the day as the hotel name.

I was very enthusiastic and patient when I went to the front desk to buy the Miyajima Miyajima Pass. When the weather was good, the top of the Red Leaf Valley Park was very beautiful. It is also convenient to walk to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and the original blast site next to the hotel.

I was travelling with a group, so I didn't choose it myself. The location is excellent. It is close to the Peace park, a big shopping mall/area and the stop for the streetcar/tram. The is a supermarket and a bakery close by. I stayed in the New Ikawa building. The building has both stairs and an elevator. The rooms are nice and clean. We had a traditional room with futons. There are nog regular chairs or something, but there was a floortable and some cusions. They offered complementary shampoo, bodywash and conditioner. And you could borrow the provided nightshirts. You can ask for the staff not to clean the room and they will leave out clean towels and such. If have problems with getting up or sitting on the floor, this place is not for you. The staff is nice. There is small area where you can sit, but no additional place to eat as you can't use the dinning area or the microwave for your own food. I recommend a stay at this ryokan!

Had a sumptuous one night stay here, introducing the family to the ryokan experience. Check-in was gracious and easy, the family room was a good size (for Japan!) and the air conditioning in August was super-frosty. All facilities clean, with yukatas all round including little ones for the kids at reception. A sobering view of the A-bomb dome across the road, secreted behind trees providing kind cover. The onsen was hot and very welcome after all that walking. Traditional breakfast was a feast-like experience and the pickled plums turned our heads inside-out. Had a friendly chat with the owner as we checked out - a big Carp fan - that rounded off a very pleasant traditional stay.

First of all, the sense is very good. There are two outlets on the bedside and several photographs. The photographs were all nice, I liked the warmth of the lights, the arrangement of the basket and the lamp, all. It is also a happy point to have a window. It seems to be an ordinary house and the lounge is also small. However, there were books, reading spaces, and high-level coffee shops next to them, and I liked the atmosphere where the couple was doing it and the atmosphere where the child came to play. It is a hostel that I want to use again!

This is apart style accommodation. No housekeeping during my stay (less than 7 days). Room was equipped with full kitchen (but no oven), fridge freezer, microwave, IH cook top, all utensils and dishes. Dish washing detergent. Bathroom equipped with standard Japanese bathroom (tub and shower), washing machine with washing detergent. Clothing can be dried with bathroom drier function. Garbage bag is provided for length of stay and discard of by the guest. Rubbish point is just outside the building. In-house guests can pick some teas, coffee and bathroom amenities such as comb and tooth brushes at the reception area. Sound proof is good. Basically no reception staff on the spot, reception staffs are available via video call. Check in is self service. The accommodation is in quiet neighbourhood area although located just walking distance from Hiroshima peace memorial park. There are convenience store and small supermarket nearby, this not too inconvenient. Nearby street car (tram) station is less than 10 minutes by walk. Great luxury choice for long stayer.

I stayed here for 4 nights and thought it was great. I was in a 6 bed dorm and the futon was very comfortable and because they’re not bunks it means that you’re not disturbed whenever your neighbour moves in the night. The kitchen is well-stocked with lots of utensils and oils and stuff, and I made myself dinner each evening. The dining/living room area was nice as well. The location is good for the museum and the memorials, though it’s about 15/20mins to ‘downtown’ where a lot of the restaurants and shops are, but that’s not too far. I would definitely come back.
