Our stay at May de Ville Hotel met our expectations. The staff members were exceptionally courteous and accommodating. The room was clean and neat. The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of delicious options. Situated in a fantastic area near Beer Street, the hotel provided quick and efficient room service. Additionally, booking a one-day tour to Halong Bay directly through the hotel was convenient, especially with the pick-up service included. We look forward to returning here in the future.p pop

The hotel is just okay!!! Location is good but customer service is not that great. A lot of receptionist and staff just standing around talking. We check in one night before heading to airport and was lounging around the lobby, ask for a cup of water to take some medicine and was given an attitude. Also mom got sick during our trip, so I asked for pharmacy near by but didn’t seem like they wanted to show me or offer any help. For the money spent here, just look for other hotel. We stayed at another hotel just down the street before going on our Ha Long Bay cruise and it was much better! The staff was much more attentive and helpful than this hotel. The only reason we didn’t stay there again, was because we already booked this hotel and it was non-refundable. Only good thing about this hotel is the central location! If you want better service, than look around, there’s plenty of other options in Hanoi.

Very welcoming. Room was very clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing. I would definitely go back if I ever come back to Hanoi.

The location is great with a few minutes reaching the lake and the center of everything. The room is ok, a bit small but I guess everywhere in Hanoi is pretty the same.Breakfast is up to standards with everything we need. We extend our stay for four hours because of the flight and we paid 50 usd for it - more than half of the original room price. It would be great if they have a standard for it - say half the price? Love everything except that.

This hotel’s location is amazing. Right in the center of all the action. So many shops and street vendors. Close to the water puppet theater 🎭 and the lake. Unfortunately, we had to leave this hotel earlier than planned and although we had a non refundable room, the hotel was nice enough to give us a free taxi ride to the airport. The rooms are nice and clean, very comfortable. Not the view that we thought we would had, but spent most of the day and evening outside exploring. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Overall location is good if you're planning to travel and sightsee around the Old Quarter, however, it becomes an issue on Friday nights and weekends when the roads around the Old Quarter are closed to traffic and you need to get a taxi or Grab ride out to wherever you need to go. Property is clean and the staff is friendly. The hot water in the shower wasn't really working very well throughout my stay but not really an issue for me since I take cold showers.

The place was in a great location, next to the Street market, and 10 minutes walking to the water puppet theater. The staff was really friendly and the view on the top floor while having breakfast was unbeatable.
