The drinks in the refrigerator are free. The service staff forgot to give us replacement toothbrushes. Everything else is good. This is a chain group and also has one in Noboribetsu.

I stayed overnight with my wife. I could see the Tsugaru Strait from the room. It was cloudy, but I understood the wonderfulness of the location. The food was really good. The seafood was fresh and the food presentation was great. I was also happy that the mini bottle of the festival was included free of charge in the reservation plan. There was a semi-open-air bath in the large communal bath. It was nice to see the Tsugaru Strait from here. The staff at the inn, including Mr. Nakai, served the guests very politely. The stay at this inn was very comfortable. With such facilities, meals and services, I thought it was a great deal to have a total of about 80,000 yen for two people despite the Obon festival. This is a recommended inn.

Been to Hokkaido many times but first time in Hakodate. Bourou Noguchi is one of the most expensive hotels in Yunokawa area. The Noguchi Group of hotels operates quite a few hotels in the Donan area (southern Hokkaido). Seems most, if not all, of the room are fitted with private onsen. We have a duplex room with living room and bedroom on the lower floor, and bath room on the upper floor. The room size is enormous by any Japan standard. With a premium price you pay, you get almost everything you need in a room, coffee beans and maker, free mini bar drinks, Loccitane toiletries, private in-room onsen, an empty Japanese style living room with no furniture where you can do yoga, two TVs. The room has windows on two sides facing east and west. The hotel as a whole takes a western style of decoration rather than a traditional style. I guess since most of the rooms has its own onsen, as a result the public bath on the top floor is not very outstanding, however, there are free drinks and ice cream on the lounge next to the onsen entrance. And the lounge has a nice view on Hakodate city and Mount Hakodate. Every room has its designated dining room in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Both meals serve Japanese and western style dishes. My personal opinion is that Japanese dishes is better. Service in restaurant and front desk is as good as you will find in a Japanese hotel. On the ground floor there is a library, and a bar opens until late. There is not much in the surrounding area except onsen hotels, however, there are noodle shop, sushi restaurant and drug store nearby.

A trip to Hokkaido on your own, two days of staying at this hotel. It is very strange that Ctrip has very little evaluation of this home. It is a relatively economical and practical hot spring hotel. Although the equipment is a bit old, there should be a small room. Very close to the sea, but the sound insulation is very good, so you can't sleep with the sound of the waves (laugh). It has been almost 3 years that we have not visited Japan. Once Japan opened tourism, we packed our bags. We decided this trip will be a trip to enjoy some onsen (hot springs bath) and to see some fall foliage in colors. We picked Hakodate for onsen. This hotel offers in room open air bath tub on the balcony with a 180 degree ocean view!! Our activities were focused on taking onsen and having great food at the hotel buffet restaurant. After a great onsen bath, we wore the clothing they provided to us to the restaurant, very layback and relaxing!! There were many families, old and very young at the hotel over the weekend. So we think families take short vacations here. Strongly recommend to add Hakodate and this hotel to be part of your tour in Japan !

This hotel is located at the Yunokawa area in Hakodate. It's reachable within 20 minutes from Hakodate bus terminal. There are three buses serving this area: 95, 95A and 96. There is also a direct bus from/to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto station with a fee of ¥900/person/way. We booked a Japanese-style room with a private onsen bath facing the ocean. The view is beyond our expectation. The room is super spacious - consisting of the entrance area, sleeping area, living room, a toilet, and bath area. They are still using the actual key instead of keycards. They served some snacks, tea, free beers, bottled water and cold tea. The room we booked also provided halfboard (dinner and breakfast). The food was amazing with many varieties, including our favourites - king crabs. All was served in a buffet style so you can eat this crab as much as you want.

Some time ago we stayed here for our 35th Wedding Anniversary, which Ichi no Matsu made a great celebration for us. See photo. A lovely Ryokan with the famous Yunokawa Hot Springs in the Baths and even though Hakodate is a big city, it is very quiet and relaxing. They are known for the quality of their food, freshest seafood-amazing squid! Very cleverly plated on beautifully designed china. Even breakfast was served in our room which is rare these days of buffet... Kamisama (Ryokan Mistress) was explaining about the unusual tatami corridors-usually the mats are just in the rooms, and the hallways are wood. Here it is a constant flow of tatami (look for the large Koi sewed into the tatami in the main entrance!)

This hotel is a relatively newer hotel . There is a huge free open carpark behind the hotel. Check in was fast . Welcome drinks were served. The twin rooms are very comfortable with good temperature control and firm beds. Wifi was fast. There was a bathtub and a area to sit down and shower just like in the onsen area. Two bottles of water were provided. Dinner was good with snow crabs , sashimi like tuna , octopus , ikura etc . There was also a ramen section where you cook your own ramen . For desert , there was an assortment of cakes and ice cream . Onsens were new and relatively empty. The bathing area was adequately lit . The only drawback was that only one type of shampoo and conditioner was available . There was a long indoor onsen . Outdoor onsens had a long sort of infinity pool , another pool and two barrel tubs . The onsens were clean and new and quiet. There was also a resting area that looked out over the city at night . What would make the experience better would be perhaps popsicles could be offered for all to enjoy after the onsen. Breakfast was good . Overall a very comfortable and reasonably priced stay near an Aeon mall and fantastic soba restaurant

Hotel is not bad, typical Japanese hotel, clean, service is OK. However, the agent who booked Ctrip wrote the wrong name of the person who checked in, the reservation number of the reservation was incorrect, the front desk was not professional, and the reservation was not found by the reservation number. There is a Taiwanese beauty at the front desk, and the Japanese uncle at the front desk has an interpreter, so even if you don’t speak Japanese or English, you can stay barrier-free. The hotel is relatively old, but the experience is very comfortable. The large hot spring has an outdoor pool. It is super comfortable and must be experienced.
