The service is good, from the housekeeping staff, the doorman, to the lobby manager, the attitude and service really make people feel ”at home”. The location is also good, in the center of the old city, convenient to go everywhere. It feels like it has been renovated in the past year? Overall, the hotel offers good value for the money. The lighting is very confusing and too dim. Takes quite some time to turn on or off a certain lamp. The location is near He Bin Park subway station. Can't say the location is best. Yet not that far away from important places like the Indian restaurant Namo or the Japanese buffet restaurant Shan Xun. The staff, especially the housekeeping staff, were courteous and friendly. The room was warm. It quite suited my needs.

We had one night stay in Kempinski. The hotel lobby was stunning with very nice designs. Our room was spacious and clean, the city views at night from the windows were just magnificent. The business lounge was on level 53 (top floor), which offered guests free afternoon tea, light dinner, and night drinks. Every staff member we met was very polite and friendly. Finally, I wish to say special thanks to the reception staff Kevin, who serviced us very patiently and professionally. We will be back surely and see you again!

My friend and I stayed here for one night. Whilst there was nothing wrong with the hotel and we enjoyed our stay, I did feel the place is a little dated. The room was clean and comfortable, it had floor to ceiling windows that made the room very light and offered a nice view over Guiyang. The bathroom was really large and the TV in the bath was a nice touch. It was just small things that ‘missed the mark’ like mouldy sealant and tarnished chrome around the basin, they’re not a big deal, just not something I expect in a five star hotel. Overall our stay was good though and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

I booked two rooms temporarily for a business trip with a colleague. It is a five-star old family. Although the rooms are small and the equipment is not new, they should have them, and the maintenance is still OK, so I can sleep comfortably and the price is not expensive. The ohm eggs for breakfast are the best I have ever eaten in the Mainland (Picture 8), and the attitude of the service staff is also super good. But bread and butter are the most disgusting I have ever seen (Figure 9). They are cheap artificial flavors and fresh milk without ”ice”. I really don't know what the person in charge of this restaurant thinks? Do you really understand the basic needs of Western breakfast? , I was really deducted to a negative point by this butter.

We highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Guiyang. The room and bathroom were both so spacious, and clean and modern looking. The location is incredibly convenient, as it is walking distance from the best spots in town, as well as a metro stop. From the airport it was only a 25 minute drive as well. It is a little hidden and the area behind is currently under construction, so the views aren't very good at the moment, but we will definitely stay here again if we return to the city. Comfortable and easy - and for a very reasonable price.

The advantage is that it is very close to Jiaxiu Tower. You can walk downstairs and walk on the right hand side for a few minutes. We have no problem staying here with an 8 year old. The disadvantage is that the sound insulation in the room is very poor. We could hear the normal volume chatting next door very clearly. We originally wanted to go to bed early and go to Huangguoshu the next day, but the chatting next door kept happening and we were forced to go to bed late.
