A particularly surprising experience. It was raining lightly on the day of check-in, and the handsome staff member Xiao Xie came out to pick us up in advance despite the rain. He helped carry my luggage along the way. When I checked in, he saw that I was traveling with an elderly person and he thoughtfully helped me upgrade my room for free. The hotel is located in the scenic area and the scenery is great. Although it is slightly inconvenient to get in and out, the experience is very special. The historical stories explained by the lady at the front desk were also very interesting, and the staff were all great👍👍👍

Right across from Elephant Park Scenic Area. The manager Alice speaks English and was very helpful. I got upgraded to a room with a view, which was very nice. I also bought the “extras package” which included a fruit plate, drinks, and a 1 1/2 hour visit to the park with a photographer. He doesn’t get paid by the hotel, but you can choose 5 photos free and then pay 20 rmb for the other ones you like. He knows all the angles and places, although I wish I had more time in the park just on my own. Breakfast is good, with DIY noodles and everything you would expect. The room was clean and spacious. I came in too late for the pick up service, but was given 50 rmb of my 100 rmb fare reimbursed. There is a nice rooftop bar on top! I would recommend for sure. Especially if you are just there for the night.

The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic! It is right across the Elephant Trunk Hill and you can get nice view from the balcony of their restaurant on the sixth floor. We booked a dinner there and the food was excellent! We also enjoyed the beautiful day and night views of the river and Elephant Trunk Hill while having our dinner. The late summer breeze makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend it!

Great hotel in a great location. Walkable from the Guilin (south) train station (although you can ride 1 stop on the bus to cut the distance in half) and on the #100 route to Guilinbei (north) train station. Nicely situated for a walk along the river and the elephant hill park, and easy to catch the #3 bus to Reed Flute Cave. It's about 1km walk from the rest of the town, although if you are feeling lazy there are several bus routes into town. The hotel organised my ticket and transfer to the Guling-＞Yangshuo river cruise. There's no lift in the hotel, which could be an issue for some, but the reception staff insisted on carrying my suitcase up the stairs for me. There's a free washing machine and clothes drying area on the roof of one of the two buildings, with detergent provided. One of the receptionists spoke great English which was very useful booking the cruise, but also was happy to let me practice chatting in Mandarin with him.

This is a good place to stay for one night.Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Service was good and complimentary ginger tea given to all rooms at night Breakfast was given and rated as average. However bathroom toilet was leaking and the bathroom stunk because of this.Also as all heaters were running due to cold this was extremely noisy. This is an okay place to stay for one night at the price

Old customers are good in all aspects. The only thing that needs to be said is that China Unicom's mobile phone has a bad signal here. It's euphemistic to say that it is not good. I have a local card in Guilin. I have 0 signal in the store, and the mobile card has only 1 G data. If it is not for only one night, it is not enough. Maybe there are other objective reasons for the bad signal, and I understand the store’s possible difficulties. However, you may wish to explain in the hotel information column, so that guests are also mentally prepared and know the choice.

On our way to Yangshuo, my friends and I decided to stay at the Manhattan hotel. The hotel location was very convenient and a lovely distance to other sightseeing things. The check-in was not as smooth as we would have liked as the staff spoke little English. All 3 bedrooms we booked were ok, but the rooms were quite stuffy and a bit unpleasant in smell. The breakfast was average; however, they are other food options around and near the hotel. Overall, the hotel is okay for a one-night stay.

Cheap, it is still possible to stay for one night. I saw several nearby when I placed the order, and I got this one at the cheapest. Sound insulation is not equal to no, the road outside, walking downstairs, the sound of the next door can be heard (should other homes nearby be the same? 🤔) Psychology is also ready, after all, really cheap, a penny of goods.
