The room was sooo small. It barely has room for a bed, let alone space to relax at all. There were three dim lamps that barely lit the room. No fridge, no microwave, no coffeemaker. But there's a coffeebar in the lobby that will sell you 12 oz of drip coffee for $4. Ice machine is located in a sketchy basement. Elevators are slow or broken. This place is unnecessarily pretentious and overpriced by about $100 a night. I wish I had spent $20 extra dollars and stayed anywhere else.
The room itself was clean. The lobby is cute. But that does not make up for the discomfort I felt staying here.

Reason for poor rating was the room. Temp wouldn’t go over 67* and couldn’t get out of bed for freezing. Soap in shower was empty. Other than that, staff and everything else was wonderful.

The room was very very small. Like very small. The elevator broke and got stuck in it. And the bed was very uncomfortable. Other than that it was a great location.

Loved the ambiance,the candy bar,the coktails,food,the lobby,all stellar.My kind of place.The water in the room was cloudy white even after running.I feel hotel staff should alert customers to this,and supply complimentary water.We spent$21 for 3 l after the concert,just 1 night!Other than that,all was well!!

What a great boutique hotel. The decor is great. Very well appointed with all the amenities needed. Bakery for a great coffee and pastry. A beautiful Bar and the Restaurant is great!

The pool is not in the hotel but at the YMCA across the street which the hotel has an agreement with. Otherwise a beautiful place

The location was excellent - free transportation - right by the people mover and, Q line, and walking distance to Little Ceasar’s Arena. The staff is very friendly. Only negative comment, the couple in the room next to us was arguing loudly throughout the night, started before the concert and then again at 2:30 am. Unfortunately we did not have a good nights sleep. But the location was fabulous.
