Jinfo Mountain Resort
Exceptional hotel in remarkable location with private valley walk across the river. Beautifully designed and appointed rooms, stunning landscaping, amazing yet healthy breakfast with quality sourced vegetables and produce. Very attractive location on river. Nice public rooms / sitting area for calming tea on arrival . Or energising coffee … Attentive highly professional staff. Quiet and tranquil. A special place (yet it is expensive) but it is worth it for a very special stay. A place you can truly relax for a day or so.

Jiefangbei Area/Hong Ya Dong
The hotel is fine, good location, however it was a little difficult to find at 3am as there was scaffolding outside, but I did find it, 18th floor of a building that's a little old. No one at the front desk, but it was a little late, so I understand. I added their wechat and someone came immediately. She was very helpful and kind. The room wasn't exactly as expected, and had no windows, which I hadn't realised. It had a window that let to a brick wall that was a small corridor to the main one (see photos). Very odd. The bath is nice. Good for the price. Foreigners welcome.

Kaizhou Hanfeng Lake
I went to Kaizhou on a business trip and booked a suite. The room was large and the scenery was pretty good. In the middle of Kaizhou, it is more convenient to travel, and you can eat everywhere. The service of the hotel is also not bad, the young lady at the front desk is always gentle and polite.
