Great location at the heart of old city. Love that everything in the minibar is complimentary & replenished daily + free high tea served 2-4pm daily. The lobby is filled with a lovely scent that just uplifts your day. The pool was under maintenance for 2-3 days of our stay; as compensation we were given 2 small rice crackers lol.

Out of the lobby you can walk to the Night Bazaar immediately. About 7 minutes walk to the Food Market where there's live music performances. Monday to Friday are the best nights while Sunday most of the restaurants are closed. About 30 minutes walk from the right side of the lobby you can reach the Old Ciity Wall. It is romantic with the night lighting. There's quite a selection of western, Thai and Chinese food from the hotel breakfast buffet.

Actually it is my second time staying at this hotel. The rooms have good A/C, shower, bath products, like toothbrushing sets. Comfortable bed, and a decent breakfast with a variety of products/meals. There is kind of a ”moldy” smell from the carpets, but it did not bother me so much since I was traveling outside the hotel most of the time.

Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either.The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room.There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!

I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

I would like to thank the front staff for their assistance. Breakfast has a lot of items, but you may have different tastes. . Unfortunately, the nearby bar? Loud music was played from 10:00 pm to 3:00 am and I had trouble sleeping during my stay. We recommend bringing earplugs. The pool is small, but the water is clean. The Brazilian Blue Cafe across the river in front of the hotel is delicious and good value.

The owner and managers of the hotel were very friendly and had good tips about the city. The location was great! I is inside the old previously-walled portion of Chiang Mai. We were within walking distance of nearly all the good temples and excellent restaurants and bars. This is great for a solo traveler, friends or a couple traveling together.

Great location overlooking the Old City moat, close to bars and restaurants - Wua Lai Walking Street with its fabulous and cheap street food is a couple of minutes walk away - and 5 minutes walk away from Loi Kroh Road where you’ll find even more places to eat and drink and have a massage. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I stayed in one of their suites which are very large and comfortable with huge balconies looking over Bumrung Buri Road. Some of the most beautiful temples in Chiang Mai are also nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

I had requested an airport pickup but this never happened - I had to take a taxi from the airport. The hotel is nice and centrally located. The owner/manager is very nice but can come across as a bit overbearing. The room was adequate although the bathroom/shower is very small and uncomfortable. It was very difficult to take a shower and there was water everywhere. The hotel is right next to other food places so there might be a lot of noise if you are a light sleeper. I had a nice time and will recommend this hotel :-)

The hotel was a shock, the photographer made a crazy job taking and changing the photos because the reality was everything else than the pictures. But I thought, even if the hotel is out right in the 50s and the room is a sinister limit (and as warm as a sauna because there is no air condition), given the price it didn't bother me. The small restaurant nearby was nice, the swimming pool that burned the eyes too ... All was okay, but very quickly, I had a full of buttons to slip down. I thought it was mosquitoes because, for the first time in northern Thailand, I often do not get shocked, so most of all, there was not really windows but 'glass stores'.
