Chiang Mai Hostels

Needed a place in Chiang Mai for 4 nights. Didn't care about luxury but didn't want the cheapest place I could find either. Came across this on Agoda and thought it might be worth a try. It's 150 Baht ride from The Chiang Mai Airport. I arrived Check in Was quick and easy. The room is immaculate. Small but very clean. Great bed flat screen TV many many channels. The air condition is fantastic. It's a hostile but it also has. Individual rooms Which is what I booked. It's unbelievable value. 22.50 a night. They don't advertise free breakfast. But they have a common area just behind reception. With a big screen TV and it's got a full kitchen that everybody is welcome to use. If you clean up after yourself, they have all the utensils. They do have a small breakfast in the morning, which is free to everybody who stays here. Although they don't advertise. It waffles cereal coffee tea toast. Basic But very nice. They also have four or five bicycles that are available free of charge to use which is a tremendous perk. There are a couple of negatives but based on the value for money. I can work around them. Number one no room safe number two When you take the key card out when you leave the room the refrigerator also loses electricity. First I've seen this most hotels I've stayed at. Had the refrigerator socket wired to stay hot, even when the key card was out. And it would be nice if they had a chair. In the room nothing fancy just a basic chair. Should I find myself in Chiang Mai again? I will definitely use this hotel again. The staff here are very very friendly. From the reception to the room cleaners everyone always smiling willing to help out answer any questions. Making sure everybody has a nice day. I can't recommend this place enough.

Fantastic hospitality. The staff have helped us with all our trips whilst in Chiangmai. Super friendly. Clean hostel. Lobby is super super chill. Also amazing lovely cat! Area is great also, lots of nice cafes, bar and shops to get any all essentials. Would definitely recommend.

5 stars hostel with 1 star price! The hostel location is perfect, there are few convenient stores within 1 min walk (7-11, Lotus). The opened air satieties that consist of few famous stalls (Suki Koka, Chang Phuek Pork Leg Rice) also within 1 min walking distance. The room is specious, clean, bed is comfortable! There is no complaint on the facilities and room, nearly perfect! Additionally, the hostel staff are very helpful and friendly. Nine helped me with check in and assisted me to rent a motorbike. She is kind and lovely, kudos to her! Without any doubt, I will definitely come back whenever I visit Chiang Mai.

A very convenient and efficient accommodation in vibrant area of Chiangmai. Room that i stayed is spacious, simple layout but efficient. Hairdryer though didnt work as the power supply cldnt be connected. All in all, its a very value-for-money especially for work or short trip.

A great, cozy hostel with the best owner Non ! Clean, modern and free coffee and cookies all day, all you need ! 11/10 for this, especially the facility rooms are great. Located just 15 minutes away from the old city by feed and 20 minutes from the airport it is perfekt for travellers .

There are many foreigners, and the environment is average! The room smelled great! If you are a backpacker and like this experience, OK

The room is fragrant, the only drawback is that the sliding door of the room is very loud. If the guest comes back in the middle of the night, the door will be awakened.

I went to see the location of the Youth Hostel in advance. The room is the same as the picture. The first floor is a cafe. The check-in service staff has been off work. Self-check-in. Thai is a little bit. If the English is almost incomprehensible, the staff patiently explained the operation again and again. The whole room is white and blue. It is really comfortable. There is a shower room in the room. It may be the reason for the new store. It has a strong formaldehyde smell. It is a bit irritating to the eyes when I first enter the room. I don’t care too much because I stayed for one night. I hope the store will add some things to remove formaldehyde. I will consider staying again later.

I stayed here a few weeks ago and although the hostel itself was really nice and clean and in a great location (although VERY far from the Night Baazar) there was almost always no one on reception when I was around. The place looked completely closed with all the lights off almost 24/7. It was closed so much that I could not even get my deposit back from reception before I had to leave! Thank god I didn’t give in my passport! This is a very quiet hostel - no bar or any fun so if you’re looking for fun and to make friends I suggest elsewhere. That being said, when the staff where around they were very nice and helpful yet I often had to go into other hostels to ask questions or book trips which was disappointing.

I stayed at hostel lullaby for 3 nights. Every day they welcomed us with an amazing breakfast of pancakes and eggs, lovely coffee and snacks. The lounge area is fantastic and a great place for everyone to meet. They help you book a large number of day trips out of Chiang Mai, including treks, cooking classes, visits to elephant sanctuaries and yoga. I cannot fault this hostel. On the last day I forgot my water bottle and they offered to post it to my next hostel in Thailand. So kind!! Would 100% stay here again.
