We stayed in one of the suites, very spacious, very clean, had lovely aromas, a super big spa bath, and an overall elegant look to it. A great outside space overlooking the property, and a nice bed lounger too. The housekeeping team really knows what they're doing and is very polite. All staff at the resort are very pleasant. The pool area for this resort is great, very clean, and has good features. A good place to cool down after day drips in the heat. Breakfast is located over the road at their off-site restaurant. Breakfast is very simple, and offers you different national types of dishes. Really good. The seating area looks over the river which is great to see while having breakfast. This resort pretty much leaves you to it, to enjoy your time. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay here if you are looking to escape.

I am a regular visitor to Chiangmai and thought I should try out this new hotel in town. What a fabulous experience it was The room is very spacious and the hotel is decorated in a modern style, with plenty of Thai touches. The lighting is good and the mirrors in the room are great if you love a mirror selfie as much as I do. The club lounge, (known as the level) is one of the best I have experienced I loved the cocktails of the day especially the Chao Phraya one made with local rum, very delicious, and so much fun to have it made in front of us in a fabulous copper coloured shaker. The service in the club is excellent, the manager Taemasin is very charming and super helpful. He had so much passion for the hotel My only regret is that I did not get to dine in the Mai restaurant. I had seen some beautiful pictures of the food on instagram, and after I talked to Taemasin, who told me that the food is so much more special then the photos can show, I know that I will definitely be back.

I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

The quality of cleaning could have been a little better - in the last photo the sole of the slippers, which were used exclusively inside the room, on the second day. Special mention should be made of the staff. Yes, this is not the Ritz-Carlton. But they will always help you, answer your question, resolve the situation, etc. They are very kind and friendly. The feeling of being among friends or at home. In general, the impressions are very positive. But wet cleaning is worth thinking about.

This is a gem. Tucked away down a side street the hotel welcomes you with a smiling car park manager, guiding you into the parking entrance. Once in, the 30 or so room hotel surrounds an oasis of a pool, protected by beautiful trees and shrubs that provide much needed cover from the sun. Loungers are enough for the guests, and are probably the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced. Very warm jacuzzi pool sits in the middle of a cool water giving you options on a “plunge” pool Rooms are delightfully decorated with comfortable beds. Bathrooms are a little on the small side for a 6ft 6 chap and the shower is missing a rain shower head to stand underneath. And a tower trail would be a useful addition. That said, it’s comfortable and had a fantastic balcony over looking the pool, and dining room. Food onsite is very good, and bar is lovely and cool but does close early at 10.30. Hotel manager came out to speak to guests regularly and explained it had recently reopened after refurbishment and there are still one or two things to be finished, such as the gym, which was closed for us. Great restaurants near by give walking options if you don’t fancy tuk tuk into town. Fantastic rustic coffee shop, and a cookery school are also great options to hang out. The wonderful staff of the hotel round off a fantastic place to stay in Chiang Mai. We loved it, plan to revisit and couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

I stayed in a suite for three nights. The room was very spacious at 78 square meters and had two bathrooms. It was cost-effective. Hotels in the city center can only accommodate less than 30 square meters. The hotel is on Tha Pae Road. It only takes more than ten minutes to get to the ancient city by borrowing a bicycle. It will not be noisy at night. Several employees in the store are very nice and conscientious. Everything is clean. The front desk employee on the night shift also enthusiastically helped us call a taxi. She even told us that she was sorry if the price was too high and said that she would use another platform to help us call a cheaper one next time. In fact, we were already very grateful. We wanted to order more ordinary hotel tissues for bedside use, but they went to the supermarket and bought a large pack for me to take away, which made me embarrassed to use them. The meals are also very delicious. If you check the boxes one night in advance, they can be prepared at the time requested by the guests and delivered to the room without going downstairs. Very friendly to Chinese guests. Thank you very much during these extraordinary times!

First of all, location was good. Center of Chaingmai old town (Wat ket Temple area). Easy to walk to Main Market just cross the bridge. But not recommend to go there in the night time. Lots of homeless and drunker. Look unsafe for me. Next to hotel is 2 big famous Pub and restaurant so if you are not party person, not recommend to stay. The music was turn off around 2am. after that you will see lots of drunker yelling, crying, singing etc.. The only thing that is good for me was the service from security. If you take a look in hotel picture, the parking lot is limited. Just only 5-6 cars can park, However, security guy can manage all cars parked in order. The room is too small. around 20sqm for superior type. The toilet and shower are separate. Small balcony. They allow guest to smoke at balcony but when ask for ashtrays, they don't have it. So u will see many used cigarettes at the back of balcony. Did not know about breakfast but better walk to find something else at Market nearby. Overall, not recommend to stay at all. Understand that it is Budget hotel but compare with another budget hotel in Chiang Mai, this hotel is below standard.

I stayed at the Sakorn Hotel for 1 week on my first trip to Thailand in 6 years. Located on the tiny street 5 min walk from the pedestrian bridge over Ping river and 20 min walk from the old town, it's not in the middle of everything but is perfect for a remote worker like myself who requires peace and quiet during the day and good sleep at night. The room itself was pleasantly spacious decorated in the classic Thai style with a balcony. Internet was fast, about 200 Mbps. Breakfast was great with 5 choices so there was enough variety. Overall I had a great stay at the Sakorn Hotel, it is awesome value for the money. The only small complaint I have is that hot water in the shower was not really hot, it was either somewhat warm or somewhat cool.

When planning our trip to Chiang Mai, my daughter gave me a shortlist of three places to stay in...I took less than three seconds to plump for this hotel. When we checked in, it was almost midnight, but Jackie the rescue Husky was there to greet us. The room was huge, super comfortable, with every thoughtful (and tasteful) touch added...the room and bathroom spotlessly clean, the latter well-provided with toiletries. We were initially intending to stay three nights and then switch to another place for our remaining two nights. But the next morning we met the rest of Ketawa's doggy family and promptly changed our bookings to stay there right through. With a packed schedule planned for every single day, the fact that breakfast service begins at 7.00 am and offers 6 ”fulfilling” options at a reasonable price was a real blessing. The meal kept us going until late afternoon/evening with just water or juice in between to beat the heat. It also gave us the opportunity to enter the dog-interaction area and cuddle Ketawa's collection of darling pooches, who were just as willing to return our kisses! All in all we had an unforgettable experience with smiling friendly staff, and a wonderfully designed property with a beautiful garden. I would definitely consider returning with a favourite book, simply to enjoy reading in the peace of the garden, the good food and service, and the ever-present company of loving animals.
