Went with another couple and we had a fantastic time. This hotel was so close to so many amenities and great restaurants (all in walking distances). Love how you can have coffee/tea at the lounge before or after you go back to the room…loved the free water near the elevators. Most of the staff are super friendly. The rooms were pretty basic and met are needs. Now you would ask why I gave it a 3 star rating….well, this whole trip was paid by my daughters for their father’s birthday early September…3 weeks later we got charged again… my husband left 3 phone messages and an email to the manager at this hotel BUT never received a response….he was totally responsible for me giving this hotel a 3 star rating!!!

We loved this place. Friendly and helpful staff. The Top Bar and restaurant were both incredible and had great drink options. The rooms are smaller (think Europe) but get over that quick and you are central in the Theater District! We absolutely loved the place! Super charming and clean!! I imagine this was once an apartment building or hostel but now they turned it chic and cool. We will definitely return!! Thanks Moxy.

Service is average. The atmosphere was similar to the Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo. , There is no sense of luxury. (The restroom near the front desk had a somewhat luxurious feel.) The location was very good as it was close to the train station, the Opera House and Boston Common. This is an image of a beautiful business hotel. The room is also clean. There are no toiletries such as toothbrushes or slippers. (There are some below 4 stars in America) Just ask the front desk and they will deliver it to you. It was very nice to have a bathtub. The gym is down the stairs from the 6th floor. It was further down the road, closed and not used. I want to stay again! I didn't go that far.

Location of the hotel couldn’t be beat! It was within walking distance to almost every highlight of Boston. Typically we pick a place to stay with free breakfast but there weren’t many to choose from for the location we wanted. Our room didn’t have a view but that’s to be expected in a downtown area. Also would’ve been nice to have a hot tub or something to sit in at the end of the night. Only random complaint I have was actually the size of the bathroom. This might be a weird thing to complain about but I think because the bathroom was so large and didn’t seem to be heated well and when I did try to take a bath (yes I bathe in hotel bathtubs) it got cold very quickly. I was disappointed they don’t have all ADA accommodations. The captioning didn’t work for half of the television shows, there were no flashing lights or doorbell for my husband who is deaf. I understand the building is old but it seemed like some of those things probably could be added. We didn’t interact with the staff much. We kept our privacy door hanger at the whole time so I can’t anything about housekeeping except the room was clean when we arrived. Overall the stay was good for the cost. And we would definitely pick this hotel again simply for the location.

The hotel service is very good! ! Originally, it seemed that the hotel did not have slippers, so I contacted the front desk. The front desk quickly sent slippers over. It was a very good travel experience and the location of the hotel was also very good.

Originally paid the hotel room fee, Ctrip repeatedly deducted the deposit, Ctrip staff follow-up treatment is very professional, the first two days are handled by different people, and later by the after-sales supervisor to follow up, although toss for a week, it is counted Successfully processed, returned duplicate deductions. It can be seen that Ctrip's after-sales process is OK. I have used Ctrip to book hotels overseas, and every time I encounter problems, the customer service response is timely. We’ve been using intercontinental hotel very well for couple years We live 5 hrs aways from the boston city Every time when we spend some time in the city we always book intercontinental hotel cause this hotel service, cleanness everything was so perfect. It worth, we loved it But lately we are very disappointed of services.last night we stayed was worst experience ever had at intercontinental hotel We stayed a night First. There is No robes. I tried to call lobby so many times! no answer . ( I had exactly same problem couple days ago when we stayed at your hotel. I had to go downstairs to ask for robe) Second. No answer lobby phone as I mentioned at first we’ve tried to call lobby so many time for services. ( Cart, water, etc) but NO answer Every time when I need I had to go Downstairs.. (Until last year? You guys were so good! since this year summer! I believe that you guys were NO answer AT ALL) Third. This is major !! We had a flight next morning so we booked your hotel as usual but we got connection room that I didn’t know even when we are check in there is nothing mentioned We were about to fall asleep around 12am and we hearing some grrrrrrr grrrrrrrr I thought A/C had something problems and we realized we HEARING someone’s snoring our next door!!!! And we couldn’t sleep at all stayed all night to go the airport next morning …. I got so mad… we paid for a night $550 at 5stars hotel and no sleep …no comfort there is no difference $80 inn out there.. So i claimed it next day when I checked out There is one lady who helped me checked out she told me she cant do anything with it but she will give me Email address of manager so i can claim through them But Email also Wrong ! What a WORST experience ever Years of good experiences have all crumbled this year. Anyways watch out where are you staying the room

This location was excellent for experiencing many of the historic sites in Boston. A short walk to Boston Common, and many great dining options within walking distance. Overnight parking is a bit steep ($60/night). The valet and front desk staff were all pleasant to speak to, respectful and kind. The room itself has one of the heaviest doors I've ever had to use in a hotel. Really takes some muscle! Despite this, the door didn't block the hallway sound, especially since we were right across from the ice maker. The room was small but not unreasonable. The bed was comfortable, and there was a refrigerator, but it was awkwardly placed on the floor next to the desk. It stuck out from the space so was odd. There was no microwave, but a shared microwave near the ice maker. There was a desk and chair, as well as a couple of drawers. The closet was small, but had an ironing board and iron, as well as a luggage holder. The bathroom was small, and had a sliding door, which we did not like at all. All sound was heard, which is not pleasant. There also was no exhaust fan. The slider into the shower was very narrow to enter. The water pressure was good, but it was very easy to get water everywhere in this bathroom. There was a good amount of counter space for us to set our things, as well as an outlet for hair products. The TV was large and worked well for us. There is no included breakfast, but there is breakfast offered onsite for a fee. We had the Saturday breakfast buffet for $26/person. We had custom made omelets, as well as waffles and bagels. Lots of options, with serving staff to bring beverages and anything else you may need. A little steep in the cost, but a good breakfast. This was our first visit to Boston, and will probably be the last one we take driving on our own, so having the option to park and walk to places was welcome.

As many reviews have stated the rooms are very compact “small” but met our needs for several day stay before leaving on our cruise. The front desk staff is amazing and the lobby is really nice. The fitness center is really nice also. Very convenient location.
