Shangri-La Boracay

Boracay Island|1.03km from Puka Shell Beach
The Shanghai-la Boracay was nothing short of amazing. The staff were very friendly, professional, and personable. The amenities were up to date and very nice! Robert and Nessar from the beach bar were so nice and made sure we were always taken care of! Melissa from the seafood restaurant was so kind and recommended many delicious dishes! The villa was definitely worth the extra money. It was very big and offered great amenities. The villa was spacious with different seating areas where you could enjoy the sun or relax in the shade! They warned us about “wild animals” but we didn’t experience any. The pool was very big and also offered seating to sun bathe while enjoying it. The ocean was very clean and crystal clear! The beach serving staff were great even when you didn’t ask for anything. They brought around cold towels and ice water. It was my friends birthday and they made many efforts to make sure she felt special on her day. This included cakes, decorations, birthday songs and so much more! Very nice! I would definitely stay here again if I visit Boracay. Some negatives: while very very delicious, the food and drinks were a bit over priced. I expected to pay more for a 5 star resort however I still considered it to be a bit high. Also, I wish the villa cleaning services came sooner rather than later in the afternoon. Maybe have a time selection for cleaning times based on guest preferences. The last thing would be to offer a later checkout or waiting services/ offer if you have a later flight. The airport is very small and very close to the hotel. The jetty ride is only a few minutes and bus ride is even shorter. It would have been nice to not wait in an airport with no accommodations for less time. Besides that, my stay was so wonderful! Would 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone!

Balinghai Beach Boracay Island|1.27km from Puka Shell Beach
The hotel is rated as 5stars. It is far away from that if you expect a real 5 star hotel you will be disappointed. I would rate it like a 3,5 star hotel. The only category where the hotel reaches a 5 star level is at the prices for food and beverages as well any outside activity. The most worse was the transfer from Hotel to the airport. We get ask to pay 6000 Peso. My deeper question after that answer was what the costing will be if just get to the harbour the answer was - it is the same. the real costs for 5 person is around 2000 peso in total up to the airport departure terminal (the 6000 peso is a discounted price the price list of the hotel say 9600 peso). For a phone call as a customer service a fee of 4000 / 7600 peso for the hotel reminds me at business which brings you in jail. The same is for the drinks and food average double of the prices compare all restaurants we had visited and I do not talk about cheap restaurants. Furthermore, it takes typical 20 minutes for a coffee and one hour for a pizza in a non-busy time. The hotel itself have a nice beach location the pool is good and cosy the rooms are clean. I join a lot of 5 star hotel in Asia and middle east and I believe I can make a proper judgment about the hotel capability and costing ratio. The hotel is good just complete overpriced for what they are able to deliver. The guest is not seen as a guest you get easy the feeling the milk cow arrived let take all his milk. For me a one time experience never again.

Boat Station 1 Boracay Island|2.43km from Puka Shell Beach

Kaaya Resort North Boracay

Boracay Island|1.35km from Puka Shell Beach
We went here last Oct 27-Oct 31. They allowed us to checkin at 12pm. They have free port pickup. Upon arriving at the resort they welcome us with cold cucumber drinks, cold towel and shell necklace. Upon entering our room we are amaze by their interior design, a sofabed in the living room good for 2pax,a kitchen with ref, microwave oven, electric kettle, utensils and toiletries(for the dental kits dont forget to open the drawer in the bathroom it was there, and we love the scent of their body gel). 2 rooms with queensize bed, each room has owned tv and ac). Their bathroom is clean as well, each of us has bath towel, and 4 bathrobes and 4 pairs of slippers. The internet is fast we really wonder how they did that as their location is far and secluded. Their cable has a lot of channel as well so if you are not in the mood to go out you can just stay and relax in your room. They have a minipool I think it's a 4ft height. Around 4pm thats the time we swim in their beach as the sun is no longer hot..Most of the time we are the only group who is swimming there. Its so relaxing..Their cafe serves delicious meal.Their free breakfast is sulit,we even have leftover for the afternoon because their servings is huge 😆 Glad they dont have corkage fee we can bring softdrinks😆 If you want to go to the famous station 1-3 you can just arrange a pickup as they have a free complimentary service going there..We truly love our stay in Kaaya and make sure that we will checkin there again if we go back to Boracay.Hopefully same staff is still there by that time.Everything is exceptional there esp.their staff..Going back to Manila we even allowed us to extend 40mins so that we will not wait too long in the airport but my sister request to extend our stay in Boracay which we stayed in Feliz hotel, though its good also but Kaaya is better than it. Feliz Hotel even ask for 2k each day security deposit where in Kaaya they dont even ask for any security deposit.

Savoy Hotel Boracay Newcoast

Boracay Island|1.54km from Puka Shell Beach
The whole stay made to perfection down to the last dot, lots of reasons to recommend Savoy to everyone, I'll try to make it short: (Do note that this is in a perspective of an introvert) Location: The hotel is situated in Newcoast Boracay, a few minutes away from the center, perfect for people that wants a bit of privacy and an access to a private beach which is accessible for guests on Hotels around Newcoast. Facilities: Aesthetically pleasing lobbies, gym access, swimming pools, amazing restaurant, and quipped restrooms. Mind you ALL places are clean, and has a great smell that's good on the nose. An available refresher on the reception area was a great idea, and y'all always have towels available to use for guests swimming in the pool. Just plain perfect! Room: We booked a Deluxe with 2 Single beds, everything was so clean! Working bidets, soft linens and pillows, a fast Wifi which is something I'd need if I will stay long while able to connect for work purposes. Working cold and hot shower, bidet, and has bathrobes and towels available! Again perfect! Transpo: Let me make this as a separate note as travel to Newcoast takes 20-30 mins, which is very far from Dmall, and expensive to rent an E-trike everytime we go around the island. Savoy's scheduled shuttle service was a great touch, specially to us who DIY'ed our way to Boracay. Our first day and we waited at Jollibee, hoping to be allowed to hop in on the bus even if were still about to check in. Kudos to Kuya driver that was more than happy to take us to the Hotel. (I didn't include the option van to the private beach cause we preferred to walk) Customer service: Now the last part and the crucial one at that, specially as a Supervisor working in a Customer service (Call Center), my expectations are high, and specific. I didn't expect y'all be working THAT hard. From the drivers, the front desk ladies who were very responsive and very welcomy and knowledgeable, those people working at the restaurant making every table spotless and preparing the meals, the guys that I believe is the life guard that oversees the pools, the securities around. Grabe kayo, I wish that all other hotel's follows the way y'all interact with your guests. out of 10, I'll give you guys 1000 for the rating. We wished we could stay longer, it feels amazing staying in Savoy, and we will definitely go back soon!

Alta Vista de Boracay

Alta Vista is our go to place at Boracay! We’ve been to boracay 4x and we always love staying at Alta Vista!!! We tried staying at other hotels in between but Alta Vista outstands the hospitality of all the other hotels we’ve stayed in. The bed was so comfortable that it’s hard to get out! The aircon was so cold that it refreshes us whenever we came back from the beach. The room was always clean and tidy each and every visit! The jacuzzi pool was so relaxing after a long day from the beach! Kindly look for Rochel, Ike, Jhona, Joy as they are the warmiest people who’ll be there to assist you! For our shuttle service Herbert, Ray, Genesis and Acer are always on the go whenever we needed a ride! We thought we love Boracay but our heart goes to Alta Vista! We’re surely to come back soon! Thank you Alta Vista! ❤️

Belmont Hotel Boracay

The location is far from the main area but it promises a quiet and beautiful private beach for their guests shared with the neighbouring hotel (Savoy Hotel). The beach front was beautiful and is walking distance or can take an e-car to it. It is very far from D’mall. But they have free shuttle service tho you need to book it im advance to ride it, and it has a schedule too. The rooms are small, kinda small beds but it was very clean. Toiletries were not complete upon our check in so you need to ask for some other things but they provide promptly. We waited for a few hours for our door to be fixed when we checked-in because it seemed thay their cards and keys are not working and they had to fix both me and my friend’s room at the same time because we couldn’t enter. Overall, it was okay. Could improve but they’re okay.
Signature Boracay Punta Rosa Formerly Punta Rosa Boutique Hotel

Boat Station 1
This hotel is the most satisfying of the entire trip to Boracay, and the price is the most worthwhile, more than 500, Japanese style, very clean, breakfast is an optional set meal, and the quantity is large. There is a bedroom downstairs in the suite, a large bathroom, and a large terrace. You can look directly at the sea and look at the sea view through the coconut trees. Many people are playing with umbrellas, drinking wine with family and friends, blowing the sea breeze, and chatting, very comfortable . Many people may struggle with the problem of not having a swimming pool, but to be honest, this location is the best beach in Boracay, 10 meters away is the beach, and beach towels are also provided. Forget about the swimming pool, I can only say that it is very cool. Walking on the beach to dmall is relatively far away, but it is only a 20-minute walk.

I don't really write reviews because I'm not good at writing reviews but oh well. I must say this place is surprisingly good and the price is affordable. Breakfast ? I woke up pretty late but still made it for breakfast and it was delicious. They said they don't serve pork which is more than good for me since I'm a Muslim. It's a little bit far from the white sand beach tho. If you're planning on going out at night. You need to be very lucky enough to find an e-trike willing to send you back to the hotel
