After reading the comments we were very concerned. However we had a brilliant time! Room was spacious, clean, room service every day with fresh towels etc! On the odd occasion we had to request more toilet roll but this was always provided! Air con worked well and we were greatful of a cool room as weather was amazing! Staff we never had any problems, and big shout out to Eles in the downstairs lobby he was fantastic and let him create a drink for u as they are always delish, also polak from the pool bar he was great! With the staff they treat people how they are treated if u try to be familiar and say thank you in Turkish they appreciate this and treat them with the respect they deserve and u will have no problems! Pool was always clean! And plenty of sun beds around. At night we never saw anyone drinking/smoking around the pool! Food was always plentiful and tasty and something for everyone, I’m a picky eater and managed a good meal every-time. I saw one fly the whole time I was there, and I’m not sure how the hotel could be blamed for this! However make sure somebody sits at ur time outside in the eating area as there are birds around! There are a few evenings where there is entertainment in the eating area and this is nice! We were aware there was no entertainment so was no bothered by this. However they do play music around the slide pool! There are cats around but they are very friendly and appreciate a snack if u can give one! Med the rep was fabulous and we had a great boat trip and he gave us lots of other information about the area and was always on hand if we had questions! Overall I will be returning and again your holiday is what you make it! No this is a 5* resort but I am yet to go abroad and get a 5* like in England! So go and have a fabulous time!! If you want a good cocktail go behind the hotel to bodrum legends they are brilliant and they play sports and have pool and darts for free!

Our honest review... We had a group of 8 people, 3 females and 5 males. I will list the pros and cons below. For the price the hotel was great but I would advise to perhaps keep budget in mind. We had a great holiday overall and for others like us with low budget and large group for Turkey I would recommend. We went 13th till 21st of May. The entertainment started in last few days as we were leaving as the season was beginning and you could tell the hotel was getting busier. The hotel was great walking distance to the centre market which was great fun to look round. Me and my girlfriend walked round the shops multiple times and loved buying things, be very prepared to get haggled though, none were rude to us you just have to say no thank you a lot. Make sure to bargain with price as you will get it cheaper and just remember there are loads of stores selling the same thing so don't be worried to walk away (sometimes walking away will make them drop the price more). From what we saw along the hotel front, Diamond of Bodrum looked the best. NOW THE BIGGEST PROBLEM... the safe doesn't work and didn't in all four rooms and unfortunely the cleaners are not to be trusted!!! They stole £30 from our case which we did not want to think but then they also stole perfume and travel kits from my friends. I didn't want to believe it but was 100% the cleaners, and they don't speak English so couldn't speak to them about it. Other than this lots of positives about the hotel below, so don't let this put you off completely, JUST HIDE YOUR STUFF! Hotel The hotel overall was nice and pretty clean. We all had double rooms however each room looked different some bigger than other. Myself had two single beds pushed together as my friends had double bed or same as us. The aircon isn't very good but kind of does the job. So be prepared to be little hot at night. Pool was big and fun for us to play in. The hot tub isn't a thing as does not work. The indoor pool is nice but also very cold which was fine. The sauna and steam room are nice and we used few times. The all-inclusive was amazing as we wanted to eat and drink loads. The drinks selection isn't huge but was enough for us and cocktails were made super strong which we loved. The rooftop seats are great with an amazing view. Staff The staff can vary from some being nice and others horrible. Highly recommend the rooftop bar staff and most of all Ahmet! he is the nicest and by far the best drinks maker. The two male staff on the pool staff are HORRIBLE! They pest you for a tip EVERYTIME even though all-inclusive and made us avoid them when possible. The reps are GREAT and got us involved in games as well as popping up for conversations with us around the hotel. There is one man who tries to sell exchanges and trips which was overpriced so don't use him. Food and Drink The food was good and had a wide variety and all you can eat was amazing. Nice hotel and staff. Wonderful breakfast in the restaurant with breathtaking view. Pool outside was very cold in the beginning of November. Room was clean and nice. We love this wonderful castle very much. One thing that made us sad- We leave hotel 6 am and ask for lunch box with breakfast. The staff on the front desk said that in the morning everything will be ready, however nobody prepare it for us( and just collect in a hurry couple hard croissants(((

A great hotel well positioned far enough from Bodrum to be able to enjoy a bit of peace and quite, but near enough to be on the marine promenade by foot in 10 minutes, alternatively by water taxi right into town. Very helpful staff, day and night, they made us feel spoilt and special, although there are sometimes language barriers, but with a mobile translating app this shouldnt be a problem. However, the internet connection seems to be a problem, with the signal often going away, also the logging into the hotel wifi is terrible, having to log in with room number and birth date when you do get thrown out of the net. I hope that they get a better solution for that, the sooner the better. We were there at the end of the season, so there weren't many guests there any more. I love the fitness centre and went there every day, as well as for a swim in the sea, which has perfectly clear water without any waste or algae at all. Next time we visit Bodrum, we definately will stay there again.

We had our family holiday there in may half term. It’s a big hotel but needs updating. Food and drink are very average. The wine is disgusting and the food most nights was cold. We had water coming through our bathroom ceiling and it took them 2 days to move us. And when the did the hair dryer in the second room was dangerous and they had to come and replace it. The pool area are very nice but if you want a bed you need to get there before breakfast. All the staff are very friendly and the waiting staff couldn’t do enough for you they where great. Don’t get me wrong, we had a great holiday but if you’re expecting a 5 star resort don’t get your hopes up.

A hotel with excellent value for money... The sea view room is really good. The balcony is big enough to open the party, bigger than the room. The bed is big and comfortable. The bathroom bathroom will definitely give you a little surprise. The manager who prepares the breakfast (maybe the boss) is warm and lovely, the breakfast is not bad... The hotel location is everywhere Very convenient 👍🏻 Very close to the bus terminal However, we must remind you that there is a primary school next to the hotel, and there is an activity park for the children in front of the hotel. So if it's not a holiday time... Friends who don't like the noisy children should consider this. Friends who like children are expected to enjoy the laughter of children like me. In general, I would definitely recommend this hotel's sea view room... If you have the chance to come back here, you will choose here.

We stayed here for 9 nights to discover bodrum and the surrounding areas. The hotel is located a very short walk to the beach, as well as the shopping and entertainment area of bodrum. The rooms are clean and the owners are lovely. The owners are more than happy to help you with ideas of where to go, what you need to try and how to get places. If you are looking to stay in bodrum city centre, I would recommend this place for its proximity to the entertainment but just distant enough that you wont be kept up by it at night. Covid friendly as all staff wore masks and there was hand sanitisers everywhere.

Дорогие читатели этого отзыва, доброго вам времени суток. Пишу отзывы редко, только или очень хорошо или очень плохо. Сегодня отзыв про ОЧЕНЬ плохо, обидели меня реально, в ответ получи гадкий отзыв. Ну а вам дорогие читатели уже судить кто прав и думать нужен ли вам такой отдых. Забронировал я отель «Artunc» в чудесном турецком городе Бодрум всего то на 4 дня (с 17 по 21 сентября 2022 г). Приехал с женой в него под вечер, после самолета, устал изрядно и завалился спать, даже жену забыл поцеловать. А наутро огляделся и разочаровался отель за 100 евроденег в сутки оказался каким то маленьким, грязненьким и совершенно не возбуждающим никаких эстетических чувств. И на утро от всей этой «красоты» теперь уже жена целовать меня отказалась. Конечно, сказать честно, и старая часть Бодрума оказалась не очень, грязный вонючий порт, а на первой, второй линии близ моря расположился турецкий рынок, привет из 90-х. Что делать? Сам расстроен. Жена вообще говорит, что уезжает отсюда прямо сразу, еле уговорил осмотреться, в море окунуться, насладится турецкой кухней. На семейном совете решили два дня провести в этом отеле, а два дня отменить, на ту радость и деньги за отель еще не отдали. О чем я сразу и заявил менеджеру на ресепшене, съезжаю говорю завтра я от вас, в полной мере за два прожитых дня две сотни кровных евро вам заплачу. Говорят мне в ответ, беда что посредник с названием Островок.ру возьмет комиссию огромную за два непрожитых дня отчего отель получит непоправимый финансовый ущерб. Я сразу звонить в этот Островок, те пообещали никакой комиссии с отеля не брать и отменить бронь. На следующий день прихожу на ресепшн, говорю возьмите ключ и деньги за два дня и, так сказать, ареведерче. Они мне - конечно, но должен ты нам 400 евро. Постойте ребятушки, за что 400, если прожил я всего два дня, стало быть, должен 200. Показывает мне солидный хозяин отеля в компьютере бронь, типа обещал я заплатить 400 евро. Плати или я сейчас полицию позову. Тогда я взял паузу, сходил подкрепиться, на голодный желудок и война не война, искупался в море Эгейском. Возвращаюсь, а номер мой с вещами и паспортами заблокирован. Ну что же, говорю, вызывайте полицию, пусть люди рассудят. Приехали турецкие полисмены, которые оказались хорошими ребятами, красавцы в фуражках, в тюрьму меня сажать не стали, за отсутствием состава преступления. Так мы и не нашли общего языка с турецким отельером, он хотел получить 400 евро, а я заплатить 200 за 2 прожитых дня, что по-моему очень не мало за такую конуру. Прикладываю фото всех грязностей номера, а также квитанцию об оплате за отель, чтобы хозяин отеля Артунк не отмазался, что это не про него. Если тебя, уважаемый читатель, интересует вопрос чем дело закончилось, кто сдался в этой битве на турецкой земле, отвечу, наши победили, неустойку отельеру возместила компания Островок.ру, за что им огромное спасибо, респект и уважение, особенно менеджеру Виктории и всем кто занимался моей проблемой. И так вывод: 1 звезда достается Отелю Артунк

I left this holiday in Bodrum with an additional 511euro of medical bill, mentally and physically scarred. Stayed a total of 7 nights (room no.III 4nights, room no.I 3nights) but the last 3 nights was nightmare. At around 4/5am, my sleep was distrupted by serious insect bites. At first, I thought It was simply a nasty mosquito bite but my frequent visit at the pharmacy prompted me to show it to the staff working there. I was horrified to be told that it is not mosquito but something else. Some animals that come from wood or mattress. I live in the tropics and have had dengue fever before but the insect bites I experienced was unimaginably bad. I was dearly worried for my health. I recorded few pictures of my body and sent it to the lady host. One of the staff said, it is from spider!! I spoke to the property owner Basir who also giggled and saying that this is simply an allergic reaction and that they know the origin of this animal. Worst is, the owner was being defensive and started the blaming game by saying I brought the insects or contracted it elsewhere. In my opinion, the owner should have taken this matter seriously as this event clearly happened during my sleep and in their property. Regardless of all, I felt that my health and safety was not their priority hence my issue was taken lightly. Fatigue from lack of sleep and the hospital drip made it difficult for me to defend myself. I hope this review creates awareness.
