Bali Diamond Estates & Villas

Bali|0.57km from Warong Legong
We found this gem on the internet, we were not disappointed. We stayed in beach front villa number 8 with 3 bedrooms, we chose ”our” bedroom (master bedroom upstairs with beach view), the other bedrooms stayed locked (although we had the keys). The villas are spacious, every villa with a different layout and furniture, all with a large private pool built from dark lava stones (hence the really warm pool water), set in a well maintained garden. The balcony upstairs overlooks the sea and the beautiful sunrises, which you can also admire from your own (closed) garden which ends where the beach begins. The place is absolutely quiet, not much to do except surfing (swimming not really recommended because of the big waves) and taking walks on the beach - we loved it. ”Our” villa could do with some renovation although everything you need (and more) is present. The kitchen isn't really equipped for home cooking or washing up, the upstairs could do with an extra fan at the ceiling or a curtain to keep out the heat - the whole house relies on the airco from downstairs, although each bedroom also has their own airco. There were 2 large fridges and freezers, and a bottle-machine providing complimentary hot & cold water. We loved sleeping with open window to hear the waves (and the thunder and sometimes heavy rains). The bedroom was a fair size with a good bed, the bathroom had warm water every day and a good shower and free amenities, the free WiFi, especially according to Balinese standards, was excellent. Each bedroom has a TV as does the living room but who watches TV on holiday when you can sit outside and enjoy the warm evening and nights? Our house had its own gekko, awesome sound! Breakfast was good and included in the price and was brought to the villa on the time requested. There could however be some more choice for breakfast without eggs. We had dinner delivered a couple of times, everything was good, from pizza to hamburgers to Indonesian food, at reasonable prices. The staff was plenty and very friendly and helpful, although some have a little trouble speaking English (not a problem though). There are a couple warungs in the neighbourhood where you can buy drinks and food and day-to-day necessities. The beach is cleaned every morning, Anything you need, the staff will arrange for you. If you are looking for a really quiet spot with a superb view, this is the place to be!

Villa Casablanca Surf Keramas

Ottima esperienza.

We had a lovely stay from the 11th to 14th October. The villa is clean, very well maintained and the service is impeccable. The private pool is of very good size and is set amidst a manicured private garden. The staff listened and attended to all our requests. Buggy and car is available to transport us to the the restaurant just beside the beach or to the neighbourhood to buy some provisions. The restaurant serves great breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant staff are professional, polite and absolutely amazing with their smiles. Dressed in traditional costumes especially on Thursdays, the look is impeccable. Will certainly return to Desa Pramana Swan when we return to Bali.

Great place to spend a few days with kids. Great pool for everyone and the surfers in the family can easily grab some waves throughout the day. Try to get an ocean view room, they are newer and much nicer than the other rooms. I do wish the food was a little better; the kitchen & management need to step up the quality of food to be fresher and more natural. They haven't had Acai bowls in months (which is on their menu)...Acai bowls and other smoothie bowls are served all around Bali so they are easy to do.

Komaneka at Keramas Beach

Amazing hotel in a remote location surrounded by rice paddies and surf, beautiful villa rooms with a view. Very peaceful and tranquil. Staff in the spa were incredible, best massage. Gym had poor lighting and virtually no air conditioning. Pool service was poor, no water offered and had to walk the length of the 50m pool to get service from the attendant at the other end. We got up repeatedly in the restaurant to get ourselves menus, place orders etc which is unheard of in Bali. Normally staff border on over attentive, no water offered at the table or bread with meal etc. The pub style over amplified loud singer and guitarist made the restaurant unbearable to eat in on the first night (definitely not ambient music!) and there was only one restaurant and it is a remote location. Would have much preferred the traditional non-amplified Balinese music to match the beautiful hotel and location. Food was very reasonable and staff were friendly. Housekeeping were amazing. Loved the cookies in the room and the Bintang on arrival. Will come again.
