Grecian Bay

Ayia Napa|0.96km from city center
We recently stayed at this beautiful property! WOW! The rooms are perfect and the staff are all so friendly and kind, the food is delicious and we had a wonderful peaceful holiday in a stunning location! The view from our rooms was stunning - directly overlooking the crystal clear blue sea, like a scene from a movie! It was just so beautiful! Absolute heaven! The rooms are lovely, think marble side tables and dressing tables, beautiful walk in shower room of the best quality and crisp clean white linen, highest quality beds that were huge - seriously huge, Mahoosive! Complete with electric blinds to black out the room if required, great air con, a mini bar and high quality soaps and shower gels, room service - everything you could need and more - even the turn down service was perfectly performed every evening with little chocolates left for that late night sneaky treat! The service staff and cleaners were lovely, they really do care and absolutely every member of this little bit of paradise wants you to have the best possible holiday that you can! our rooms were spotlessly cleaned every single day! The hotel is based directly by the beach with shops bars and restaurants around not that you will need them - the onsite restaurants are full of the very best quality food prepared by high quality chefs, nothing is too much trouble! Breakfast is an absolute feast, you can pretty much have what you want fresh fruit, yoghurts, cold meats, cooked full English, breads, pastries cereals an egg chef, literally whatever you can think of - they have it! There are buffet nights, a stunning fish restaurant by the beach, an a la carte option , a grill for lovely Souvlaki and kebabs, Salads or burgers etc - so much choice, The restaurants in this hotel will not disappoint they are lovely and the food quality is excellent, the staff are just so incredibly friendly and kind! The Fishermans hut is superb, i'm not keen on fish but the rest of the family are - no problem they just got me what I preferred - nothing was too much trouble! There are Greek nights and Cypriot nights with wonderful singers and entertainment. We were on full board but the prices were extremely reasonable - I would recommend very highly at least going on half board or you will miss out! The food is Lush! The onsite shop is extremely reasonably priced, lots of trinkets and gifts/clothing to browse and indulge in! We did not try the spa but others told us it was excellent! The location is directly, and I do mean directly, on the beach! You step off of your Sunbed onto a powder sand beach and walk a few short steps to the calmest, warmest sea ever - this hotel is based in one of the most beautiful locations on earth! We have been to Cyprus many times before but this really is something else - the Grecian bay is on another level all together! There are also pool areas if you are someone who does not care for the sand. On arrival the friendly beach boys will find you a sunbed th

Alion Beach Hotel

Ayia Napa|0.9km from city center
This hotel has a reputation for perfection and I have to say it met that expectation. We arrived via taxi (arranged by hotel) from Larnaca airport and after a very efficient checkin we quickly made our way to the bar by the pool for a quick snack and a couple of cocktails. One of the things that impressed me was that the hotel has sunbeds in the garden area leading down to the beach, and as part of checkin we were encouraged to select a pair of sunbeds in the garden. That was out pair for the week! Great system, and as it turned out, zero hassle to get onto a sunbed all week. We ate in the hotel on one of the buffet evenings (fantastic selection of food on the Cypriot evening), and the breakfast had a wide selection of juice, smoothies, breads, pastries and cooked items. But mostly we walked the 15 minutes or so down into Ayia Napa and only the main street. The quality of the food and service in every restaurant we tried was superb. The Farmers Inn won our attendance on the last night as the best place, but to be honest they were all superb. The gardens at the hotel led down to the white sand beach and sea, which was warm (September) and shallow. The beach ran all the way along to the harbour at Ayia Napa, which was where the various ”party boats” were based - the pirate ship was a regular visitor past the hotel at 2:30pm every day. We also tried the spa - the deep tissue massage was really good and effective. I booked for the indian oil massage too, but the spa therapist encouraged me to have a second deep tissue massage to hep my ailing shoulder, telling me that the hot oil treatment would not be as beneficial. I appreciated the advice - the second massage was even better than the first. The reception staff were the most efficient I have ever come across. They all knew how to run the desk, and had all the information needed to answer any question we put to them. The cleaners were also very good, and kept the room spotless. All in all, this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and I have been to a few on personal holidays and on business over the years. We both had a very relaxing time and will not hesitate to visit again.

Amanti, MadeForTwo Hotels - Ayia Napa

Ayia Napa|0.88km from city center
My wife and I stayed at Amanti during mid october to celebrate our honeymoon and we had an unforgettable experience. The staff promptly welcomed us on arrival and from airport pickup to room check in the process was seamless. Delicious welcome drinks were provided while we waited which is always a nice touch. The reception discussed our half board plan and we were given our room information. It was late at night on our arrival and we had missed dinner so we were given a voucher for a meal credit. We were not given a tour of the property, although this was most likely because it was after 10pm and dark so no complaints there. Upon arrival to our room we were pleasantly surprised with a VIP ******* upgrade that gave us an ocean view. We were also left a lovely surprise of love dove shaped towels, rose petals, champagne, heart shaped dessert, and a card for our honeymoon. A warm touch that made us feel extra special. Since we also missed dinner, we were given two plates of lovely little sandwiches. Throughout our stay we visited all of the restaurants-- the main buffet, and the 3 themed restaurants which are serviced with a Michelin star chef. The atmosphere of each restaurant is very romantic and chic. The food at each restaurant, yes even the buffet, was to die for. Absolutely incredible. Creative, tasty, and high quality with stunning presentations. The pool area is large, clean, and has full service with the option of a little service button which we thought was very handy, great idea. The sun beds are of your choosing on the first day and then reserved for you for the rest of your stay, another clever idea. The surrounding location of the hotel is safe and walkable, good for families, couples, and solo travelers. There is convenient access to multiple shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and only 7 minutes to the beach. The highlight of this hotel however, is the service. The service is absolutely 5 star service. We felt exceptionally welcomed and taken care of at each meal. The dining staff, hostesses, chefs, the guest services, the gentleman at the pool, all take their jobs with the utmost honor and do a wonderful job ensuring the perfect stay for the guests. Our only complaint, and it is a mild complaint, I really would only remove half a star for this.. Is that with half board, you can choose whether you want lunch or dinner as your second meal. However-- if you choose lunch, you can only go to the buffet as the other restaurants are not open. You cannot choose to have lunch or drinks by the pool. That is a separate charge, not included as an option in half board and it is quite expensive. Since this is a tropical beach vacation spot, most people want to relax and have lunch and drinks by the pool. This should be an option for half board, if we wanted to have lunch, we would have to get dressed and leave the pool to go upstairs and eat during prime pool hours (12:30-2:30) when the buffet is open. I'm not sure if this is an o

Gaia Sun N Blue Hotel

Ayia Napa|0.88km from city center
The staff here were so nice and were always cheerful and helpful no matter how silly my questions were. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the rooms and the hotel as a whole was kept VERY clean. It was never dirty anywhere and rooms were kept spotless. Pool was pretty good and it wasn't too busy during the stay so it was easy to get sunbeds and the pool bar was always manned and you never had to wait to get served. The gym wasnt huge but I dont know how many people actually want to spend too much time in the gym while on holiday anyway. The indoor pool was a godsend for me whenever I got a little warm you could simply nip inside and have a swim out of the sun - which was awesome. The air-conditionaing worked well but was a little loud at night when trying to sleep. Due to the heat i ended up having it on alot while in the room which meant you could hear it but the weather was 33C+. Its located west of the centre of town and typically will take just 10 mins to walk into the centre. This was a plus for me as there was no noise at night from returning revellers. It has great access to two really great beaches and a number of restaraunts (Italian, Mexican, Greek, Indian etc...) which are a tiny walk away and they were great. You could always venture out for a late night in the centre and it wasnt a long walk back and I personally like finding different places and attractions by foot. I only had breakfast at the hotel which was delicious and there was a large number of options to choose from including cereals+milk, yoghurts, fresh local fruit, melon, coffee's of various types, standard bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns, vegetables as well as toast and a selection of cheeses and bread types. I never ran out of finding something which I wanted to eat in the 10 day stay and had breakfast everyday. I can honestly say I would like to return too and had a great time.

Had a wonderful holiday here! Was a bit wary after reading some of the previous reviews, but I'm glad I didn't read too much into them. All staff were so polite, helpful and ready to act on your every whim with a smile. I'm sure a lot of the negative reviews are a self-reflection maybe on how people treat others and they get the same back in return. I'm sure Savvas in the bar was determined to make sure my husband had a good holiday by not measuring his vodka!! Entertainment was limited but there was only one person on the ents team, so you can only do so much then, but he was friendly enough and really involved everyone in everything that was going on. We had an issue with our safe in the room which was sorted within 15 minutes of reporting it. There was ample food and drink for everyone. Lots of variety every day, with lots of lovely local Greek dishes to try. As soon as the restaurants closed the snack bars would open, so food, ice creams and drinks were available right through the day. The room was spotlessly clean and cleaners came in every day and changed sheets and towels every other day. If you need it done more often than that you just had to speak to reception and they accommodated you. The pools, sunbed area and surrounding complex areas were clean and tidy. Some sunbeds were obviously a bit tired after a full season, but that's to be expected by November I suppose! Unfortunately we missed the waterpark which closed the day we got there on 31 October, but the 3 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool was fine anyway and the disappointment from the teens didn't last too long - I did wonder before going if it may close as we were going towards the end of season. Only a short walk out of the back of the hotel and you were on the promanade that runs the length of Ayia Napa, which was a really nice walk especially when the sun was setting. The location is ideal, just off a main street and a short walk to the busy bars. A 5 minute walk to the harbour and bus stops are 2 mins away to take you all over the island. All in all, we had a lovely relaxing holiday and by the end of the 10 days we felt like we were in an exclusive resort as there was hardly anyone left! I'd definitely recommend Panthea Holiday Village as an ideal base for your holiday in Ayia Napa.

The hotel's location is great. It's smack in the middle of all the action, with beaches, restaurants, and the ***** within arm's reach. There are two pools - one with more going on such as music, which tends to be busier, and another which is much more relaxed. The pools were never overcrowded and there were always sunbeds spare throughout the day. The not-so-great part: the staff. ”Who can be the least interested in helping guests” seems to be their motto. The people at the front desk seemed more interested in their computer screens than welcoming guests. There was a cricket in our room which was stuck inside the door frame. We could not sleep because of the noise volume of the bug in our room which staff in the morning weren't interested in. Our TUI rep asked them to change our rooms but they denied. We ended up resolving the issue by spraying bug repellent in the door frame. Housekeeping didn't fare much better. Our rooms weren't exactly spotless when we arrived, and our towels weren't changed all week - we had to request this. The rooms were not cleaned and beds were not made all week, despite the description of the hotel saying housekeeping were present every day other than weekends. Our friends were on the balcony, talking, at around 3am one night. The security guards dragged him down to reception after this incident and threatened to throw us all out because of this. They were in the room next to us and we could not hear them on the balcony. For a hotel that hosts a lot of younger people, they are incredibly strict on the 'quiet' rule, despite our party making minimal noise. Our friends went to lunch and their beach towels were removed from their sunbeds. The hotel said they did not have their towels and we never retrieved them. If you can tolerate mediocre service and are all about location, location, location, this place might still be worth it. The rooms were decently comfy, and it's a decent crash pad if you're planning to be out and about most of the time. For the purpose of a friends holiday, the hotel was fine. The cost reflects the value.

Faros Hotel Ayia Napa

This was our first visit to the hotel and what an amazing little hotel. First I want to thank all the staff at the hotel, you are all absolutely awesome and we hope you will all be there when we return next year, you are all a credit to this fantastic hotel. CHECKING IN. Checking in was probably one of the smoothest and easiest I’ve had in all the years of travelling, took no more than few minutes and we were done, greeted with a lovely smiling lady at the desk who had everything ready for us as we arrived at around 22:30. Main entrance to the hotel was lovely and clean, very nice lighting which instantly made us feel chilled & relaxed after our flight. ROOM. Our room was on the 3rd floor and gave us a fantastic view of the ocean, was amazing to look out at first thing in the morning, was a great start to our day. Room was very clean & tidy with great comfortable beds, had no trouble falling asleep on them at all. Room had a lovely big shower space with big bath robes an slippers provided. Room was cleaned everyday by the fantastic cleaning team they have at the hotel. FOOD Could not find fault with any of the options available, my wife was addicted to the freshly made omelettes made at the live cooking station in the morning, me as an Englishman that needs a full English breakfast in the morning to soak up the beer from the night before had no trouble whatsoever getting what I needed. There are plenty of other options available you will not go hungry. Evening meals from the à la carte were outstanding with great options of dining inside or outside by the pool. Restaurant area was absolutely spotless. POOL & BARS Pool was very nice, clean and very well maintained, swim up bar is a nice touch tho I never used it on this visit, but still a great option to have. No crazy morning rush for sun beds, was plenty available throughout the day. The second outdoor bar area was again very clean & tidy an probably the place I spent most of my time 🤭 they have a great range of drinks available ( I did consume a lot of there Piña colada’s) SPA & MASSAGE Well what can I say here…..🤔 A massive thank you to Andria and her team, not only did my wife receive a superb massage & treatment in a ultimate chilled an relaxed atmosphere, they even saved the day when the wife broke a nail which they managed to completely fix the issue for her.(also meant I could have a cheeky few more pints at the bar while they were busy….lol thanks Andria 🤫😉 OVERALL Overall an absolute fantastic break away, as a married couple in our 40’s 🤫 we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in Cyprus, we are all booked up to return next year and hope to see you all again and thank you for an awesome stay this year. See you in 2024 👋🏻 Jet2 if you read this, I hope you keep available the wonderful young ladies that were there on our vist this year, Flo and her colleague were absolutely first class, always available for a chat an advice, as well as getting our trips all bo

Firstly before we even arrived I emailed the hotel multiple times with a query we had about our upcoming stay and they just ignore you and never get back to you (other guests have also said this has happened to them). The staff are very rude and have no interest in their guests (apart from one man making the pancakes every morning at breakfast he was so polite and loves to talk to all guests). The so called lifeguard is the rudest man you’ll ever meet, he just sits there talking to people on his phone while rolling tobacco cigarettes yet he had the audacity to shout at my boyfriend in front of everyone for jumping in the pool even though there were NO signs whatsoever that jumping in the pool was forbidden (just diving - which he didn’t do). He shouted “hey you do you want me to say it in another language” being rude and sarcastic. You have to pay for wifi and it only works in the room or reception area it doesn’t work by the pool or by the bar so I had to use my mobile data even though I paid for the wifi. Some days the hotel doesn’t play any music at all around the pool so it’s just complete silence and when they do play music, it’s the same awful depressing cover versions of pop songs on a continuous loop every 5 songs. There is only entertainment 3 nights a week and it is very short and not very good (it’s either a singer or dancer). It’s so bad that most people tend to go out into Ayia Napa and find their own entertainment, which is what we have done every night as we had no idea how boring the hotel was when we booked which is outrageous considering we have paid all inclusive and we still go out every day spending money The food is average but not very good at all. You have to pay for the mini fridge in the hotel room - not just to consume the items inside but to actually unlock the fridge door! So you can’t cool your own food and drink without paying for access to your fridge. You also have to pay for the wifi, safe and bottled water. The sunbeds are awful and uncomfortable and some are broke. The hotel is advertised as being ON the soft sand beach when in fact the beach it is on is a rocky beach that is only used for fishing and you have to walk 10 minutes to get to the soft sand beach where you are able to sunbathe and you have to pay for each sun bed. After being here 2 days we went and inquired about a late check out for in 5 days time because we knew they might not have availability as normal hotel check out time is 12pm and we were getting picked up at 6pm. We were told to come back and check again the next day which we did, just to be told again to come back and check again the day after and this happened every day until the morning we were leaving for them to say there was not ONE room available for us to have for a late check out as our transfer wouldn’t be picking us up for hours. This left us with no room or shower for 6 hours forced to just sit around in reception. Genuinely the only good thing about this h

Atlantica Sungarden Park

Ayia Napa|0.31km from Katsarka Beach
We went for 5 days for our Honeymoon Sep 2023, booked through Tui. Hotel decor: Stylish, modern, classy and clean throughout. Layout of 'villa'-style blocks well-landscaped, laid out to create lovely private spaces. Rooms: We had a swim-up room which was lovely - good size pool (felt fairly private, although shared/linked with other many other rooms), spacious room, nice bathroom. Cleanliness: Always clean throughout hotel. Bedroom cleaned/restocked daily - cleaner was lovely, always check everything OK when she saw us. Dining: Italian restaurant (1 comp meal incl.) food and atmosphere was amazing. Buffet restaurant food had lots of options to suit all - mixed quality, became very repetitive after only 5 days. Snack bar had a good range of food (fresh salads as well as hot and fried foods). Bars: Lobby bar was beautiful, but felt like a waiting room - no atmosphere at all, very quiet, felt awkward to hang around in. Pool bar was nice and convenient, great range of drinks. Staff: Very mixed - some were plain rude, barely acknowledge you, never smiled, everything felt like a chore, but some were nice and helpful. Buffet restaurant staff nice, but take plates before you even put your fork down so felt very rushed/far from relaxing. Reception staff were nice and friendly. Entertainment: Daily day time entertainment, and evening most nights too: aqua aerobics, water polo, darts in day; singer, quiz, magician in evening. Bit awkward at times - not good enough to captivate audience, but good background sometimes. Few considerations/cons: - Honeymoon wasn't acknowledged in any way, despite adding as 'special occasion' on booking. - Check-out 11am, but we had transfer at 6.15pm. Late check-out wasn't available for our room (and would have cost £100). We were given 30mins complimentary room use to freshen up before transfer - not cleaned between uses, filthy!! - Pictures look like grounds lead to beach, but it's just rocks at coastline - approx. 10min walk to Nissi Bay, which has small sandy beach, but still very rocky in water. - Hotel is 5 mins walk to the main street (tourist tat shops, few OK bars/restaurants), so feels disconnected from any liveliness around. - No poolside toilets, so have to dry off and re-dress to walk through lobby and upstairs to use toilets (luckily our 'villa' room was close to pool, but was really annoying for the half-day after check-out). - Although the hotel was nice, it felt small by end of 5 days, and not a lot to do nearby outside hotel - perfect if you just want to sunbathe, drink and eat all day every day (or hit the ***** and sleep half the day), but I got really bored by the end. At £2000 for 5 days (flights, transfers and hotel), I found this pretty bad value.

A Maos Hotel Apartments

Don’t be put off by negative reviews. We stayed here from 13th July for 4 nights and the only thing we can fault is the room not being cleaned. The room itself was very spacious and modern, we requested a pool view on booking and got one. The only negative thing we have to say is that the room didn’t get cleaned the whole time we were there but when we asked for fresh towels and bin bags there was no issue in getting them. The food and drinks here are reasonably priced and the portion sizes are big. The area that the hotel is in is a quiet area about 4 minute walk to Ayia Napa square which we found nice as you weren’t amongst the hustle and bustle constantly. The bar and housekeeping staff were amazing and very accommodating.

Sarah and Kristina have just spent a weeks holiday at Hotel Nissi Beach Famagusta, Cyprus. We had sea view rooms and the view of the beautiful beach was fabulous. We used the Spa everyday and had lots of treatments which made us feel good. George one of the managers helped me with my room. Many thanks to Kaliopi and Adriani in the Spa for their excellent massages and all the treatments we had, they were of a high standard. Also had my haircut and dyed in the salon, in the hotel. Bopi was very professional and easy to talk too. I was delighted with my hair, would highly recommend. Thank you to Georgia our housekeeper, who was always so helpful, with a smile on her face. Nothing was a problem, she kept our rooms very clean. Also thank you to Eleni who was always so happy to help us whilst having our meals in the Taverna on the beach. Also to Vasilli and Georgia in the bar by the outside pool. You all made our holiday, most enjoyable. Thank you all, we would highly recommend this Hotel, with no concerns.
Nissiana Hotel & Bungalows

I chose this hotel because I was looking for something in Nissi Bay that had self catering facilities. (not that I do any cooking) Our ”bungalow” was actually a first floor apartment located just across the road from the main building. The nearest shop is about a minutes walk away and was still open when we arrived at 1am which was very handy for a cold bottle of wine to drink whilst unpacking! The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel itself is not fancy but it is very nice. Breakfast was ok, but as with most buffet food it is just not hot enough. The pool area is really nice with lots of sunbeds. Food and drinks from the bar were good and reasonably priced. You do need to take your own beach/pool towels as these are not provided. The position of the hotel is great and for us this was the perfect choice, we like to eat out and there are lots of restaurants from the door step all the way down to the harbour. This hotel is perfect for couples and for families and good value for money.

Stamatia Hotel

We had a wonderful staying at Stamatia Hotel. The hotel is very good located, few minutes of the city center, very close to the Aya Napa Limanaki port, the beach is a 3 minutes walk and the bus station is very close. You can take the bus and visit the famous blue flag beaches: Niki, Macronissos, Landa, Konos Bay, Fig Tree etc. Also Pantachou, a blue flag beach, is very close and nice. The staff was very polite and helpful, the food was good, the rooms were simple and clean and the general atmosphere was very nice. Special thanks to Marian and Mrs Eleni! We enjoyed the pool in the last day, after check out, while we were waiting for the transfer bus to the airport. We recomend this hotel, it was better than we expected for a 3 stars hotel! Thank you, Stamatia! Warm wishes from the parents, grandparents and the little twin girls from Romania❤️

The rooms are NOT in the same building as shown on the pictures on their website We booked via booking.com. Reception was very slow, we paid and they took us 2min walking distance to a building only to find out that they don't even have a room for us!!! Had to go back to reception but they did not want to return our money. Booking policy. The personnel (English-Cypriot girl) was ABSOLUTELY rude and joking with us. She knew we won't be able to get our cash back but still advised us to cancel. Offered us an upgrade, tbh, but we were listening to the people around us complaining about their rooms so we decided to count our losses and leave. No parking, rude staff, horrible service, from what we saw, the rooms were maybe clean but smelled disgusting.... Never going again there and will warn all my friends not to...
