Far Eastern Air Transport introduction

Far Eastern Air Transport is a Taiwanese airline based out of Taipei. Since it was established in 1957, it has spent most of that time as the number one operator of domestic Taiwan flights. The airline also operates some international routes, with services from Taiwan to Mainland China, Cambodia, South Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines.

  • Tianjin Airlines is a Chinese regional airline that operates passenger and cargo flights based out of Tianjin, a city in the northeast region of China. Tianjin Airlines began operating in 2007 and operates a fleet of 74 planes and services 63 individual destinations. It is a subsidiary of Grand China Air Company Ltd.

  • Lucky Air, established in 2004, was originally known as Shilin Airlines. Lucky Air is owned by Hainan Airlines, Shanxi Airlines and Yunnan Shilin Tourism Aviation and operates out of Kunming Wujiaba International Airport in Yunnan Province. In addition to providing domestic China flights from Kunming to Dali and Xishuangbanna, Lucky Air also operates as a cargo carrier.

  • Shanghai Airlines, which is a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines, operates a comprehensive domestic network and international network, with flights to many cities in China and international flights to Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, India, the Philippines, Vietnam. Cambodia and Hong Kong, in addition to other international destinations. The airline was founded in 1985 and flies a fleet of 67 planes to 140 destinations.

  • Austrian Airlines is the flag carrier for Austria headquartered at Vienna International Airport. The airline is a member of the Star Alliance and operates to over 130 destinations in Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia and Russia. The fleet consists of 79 aircraft. Lufthansa purchased the airline in September 2009.

  • Chengdu Airlines, formerly known as United Eagle Airlines, is a Sichuan-based airline that operates out of Chengdu. It is privately owned and was established in 2004, beginning flights in 2005. Today, the airline has a fleet of 11 planes and flies to 15 cities in Mainland China.

  • China Express Airlines, which is also known as Huaxia Airlines, was founded in 2006 and is based in Hainan Province. The major hubs of the airline are the Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport and Ganzhou Huangjin Airport.
