Day 1 Guilin airport pickup
Day 2 Yangshuo
9:00 a.m. Ten-mile Gallery (Shílǐ Huàláng, 十里画廊) (about 30 minutes)
As the name implies, Ten-Mile Gallery is a picturesque road stretching from the Yangshuo town area to Moon Hill, endowed with rolling hills, endless fields, idyllic villages and clear rivers on both sides. The peaks form natural sculptures in various shapes against the blue sky and beautiful flowers adorn the road. Birds chirping all the way make the atmosphere merry.
10:00 a.m. Big Banyan Tree (Dà Róng Shù, 大榕树) & Moon Hill (about 2 hours)
The Big Banyan Tree towers some 17 m (56 ft) and is estimated to be as much as 1,500 years old. Visit Moon Hill to see intriguing hole found halfway up a mountain that resembles a full moon. You'll view it from different angles and see how it waxes and wanes, just like the real moon.
12:30 p.m. Li River bamboo rafting (about 1 hour)
Take bamboo raft on Li River (Xingping-Nine Horses Fresco Hill-Xingping). Floating on a bamboo raft on the Li River is an unforgettable experience. With karst hills closely packed around the river, the stretch from Xingping to Nine Horses Fresco Hill is renowned for its beauty. Sightseeing around the Li River doesn't get better than this.
2:00 p.m. Xingping ancient town (Xípíng Gǔzhèng, 兴坪古镇)(about 1 hour)
The Xingping ancient town is well preserved ancient town with 1300 years' history. Here you can shoot the scenery of 20 yuan RMB note at the Xingping ferry.
4:00 p.m. West Street (Xī Jiē, 西街) (about 1 hour)
West Street is Yangshuo's primary tourist magnet. This cobbled street of wooden shop fronts and laziness-inducing restaurants is bursting with a quaint charm that attracts visitors from around the globe. Although recently renovated to cope with the ever-increasing tourist foot and bicycle traffic, the street still retains its an old China charm.
5:00 p.m. Return to Yangshuo hotel
In the evening, why not enjoy Impressions Sanjie-Liu show (Yìnxiàng Liúsānjiě, 印象刘三姐), a spectacular show with over 600 performers, live animals, and spectacular lighting effects all performed on the Li River with the majestic limestone mountains as the back drop (additional fee applies).
Day 3 Yangshuo-Guilin
9:30 a.m. Shangri-La Scenic Spot (Shìwài Táoyuán, 世外桃源) (about 1.5 hours)
It is the closest thing you'll ever see to the Himalayan utopia described in James Hilton's infamous "Lost Horizon" novel. Stroll through the gorgeous grounds featuring a lake, willow trees, bridges and of course Guilin's famous karst mountains as a backdrop. There is also a chance to view an exciting performance illustrating the local traditions from this southern part of China.
12:00 p.m. Yao Mountain (Yáo Shān, 尧山) (about 2 hours)
Located on the eastern outskirts of the city, at 903 m (2,963 ft), Yao Mountain is Guilin's highest mountain. Famous for its scenery which changes color with the seasons, the mountain is also home to a number of sites including the Yao Temple, White Deer Temple and Tianci Field. Head to the summit via cablecar, look out for the huge natural reclining Buddha and enjoy the fabulous views which take in both sides of the Li River.
2:30 p.m. Banyan Lake & Fir Lake (about 1.5 hours)
Wander along the shores of Banyan Lake & Fir Lake which once protected the city and its people from hostile intruders. Today, it's simply a beautiful place to relax and enjoy some of Guilin's most beautiful views.
5:00 p.m. Drive to Guilin hotel
Day 4 Guilin departure
9:00 a.m. Reed Flute Cave (Lúdí Yán, 芦笛岩) (about 1.5 hours)
Reed Flute Cave is just a 15 to 20 minute drive northwest of the downtown area. The cave's serpentine depths wind about within Guangming Mountain and feature some remarkable rock formations.
11:00 a.m. Elephant Trunk Hill (Xiàngbí Shān, 象鼻山) (about 40 minutes)
One of the most famous is Guilin's Elephant Trunk Hill, a striking natural arch that juts out into the Li River, bearing a clear resemblance to an elephant dipping its trunk into the water.
After lunch, you'll be transferred to the airport/station for departure.

2.On departure date we will pick you up from the airport. Free pickup/drop-off available for downtown hotels with flights arriving between 9AM-10PM, otherwise an additional charge applies. You will be contacted before 11:00 p.m. the day before your scheduled activity to confirm pickup information regarding your driver and/or tour guide.
