Explore main highlights of fascinating city of Hangzhou including many attractions surrounding West Lake. You may also take a boat ride in the west side of the lake to stay away from the crowds. The placid waters of which have been immortalized throughout history in literature and poetry. Experience a Chinese tea ceremony at Longjing Green Tea Plantation & Village (Meijiawu) and walk through the Bamboo lined path at Yunqi to get away from the bustling crowds and fully experience the serenity and beautiful nature of Hangzhou. Enjoy lunch at a local tea grower's house with authentic Hangzhou food or learn how to prepare an authentic dish.


9:30 a.m. Hangzhou downtown hotel/ Hangzhou Railway Station pickup.

10:00 a.m. Boat ride on the West Lake (Xīhú Yóuchuán, 西湖游船) (about 1.5 hours)

First visit West Lake, which was awarded as an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011 because it reflects "an ideal fusion of humans and nature." Take a boat cruise to fully experience the serenity and beautiful nature of West Lake. You may have chance to see some of top ten West Lake sceneries.

11:30 a.m. Guo's Villa (Guō Zhuāng, 郭庄) (about 1 hour)

Next visit Guo's Classic Garden, considered to be the best existing traditional private garden in Hangzhou and a great place to relax and revel in the beauty of Song-era tea houses and pavilions. The villa not only provides you with a better understanding on this Asian "leisure capital" but also an idea place for photography.

12:00 p.m. Lunch (1 hour)

Experience a culinary adventure in a tea famer's house. The most delicious part of your day will be the meal of your choice served family style and enjoy the beautiful tea village while eating.

1:30 p.m. Meijiawu Tea Village (Méijiā Wū, 梅家坞) (about 1 hour)

Continue to Longjing Green Tea Plantation and Village (Meijiawu), the origin place of the most famous variety of green tea, Longjing, in China with beautiful natural scenery (There are many tea houses in the tea village and you will have a chance to sample local tea). You can learn how the famer produce the tea.

2:30 p.m. Bamboo lined path at Yunqi (Yúnqī Zhújìng, 云栖竹径) (about 1 hour)

Later, explore bamboo lined path at Yunqi, which is a 1 km stone-paved path that cuts through dense bamboo forest all the way to Yunqi Valley, which is an ideal and quiet place to get away from the crowds for you to relax.

4:00 p.m. Qinghefang Street (Qīnghéfǎng Jiē, 清河坊街) (about 1 hour)

Your final stop is Qinghefang Old Street, a good place to experience the lifestyle of old Hangzhou since it is the epitome of historic Hangzhou. You could see well-preserved old buildings, explore interesting boutiques, and shop for unique souvenirs.

5:00 p.m. Return to Hangzhou Railway Station or downtown hotel.

1.Please call or email Ctrip if you need to cancel your booking. Free cancellation for bookings cancelled at least 3 days in advance. If you cancel 2 days or less before your visit, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged per booking.
