9:30 a.m. Hangzhou downtown hotel/ Hangzhou Railway Station pickup.
10:00 a.m. Boat ride on the West Lake (Xīhú Yóuchuán, 西湖游船) (about 1 hour)
Start with a 45-minute boat ride on tranquil West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage site and perhaps Hangzhou’s most famous attraction. Relax amid enchanting scenery as your guide points out historic pagodas, Chinese-style arched bridges, tree-lined walkways, green islands and lush gardens. You may have a chance to see some top ten west lake sceneries, like Su Causeway, Broken bridge and so on.
10:30 a.m. Flower Harbor Park (Huāgǎng Guānyú, 花港观鱼) (about 30 minutes)
Move on to Huagang (Flower Harbor) Park Wharf. Stroll through part of the 54-acre (22-hectare) park to see the many varieties, including a peony garden that blooms in April, and stop at Red Carp Pond — a popular spot for viewing fish.
11:00 a.m. Lingyin Temple (灵隐寺) & Feilai Peak (飞来峰) (about 1.5 hours)
Next, you're driven to Lingyin Temple (translated as "Temple of the Soul's Retreat"), considered one of the ten most famous Buddhist temples in China. Originally founded in AD 326, Lingyin Temple has been rebuilt no less than 16 times. Listen as your guide discusses its pagodas and pavilions and introduces you to some of the 470 stone carvings of Buddhist figures on Feilai Peak, which date back to the 10th to 14th centuries.
1:00 p.m. Lunch (about 1 hour)
Good food is a big part of the tour, and your tour will be different. Then experience a culinary adventure in a tea famer's house. The most delicious part of your day will be the meal of your choice served family style and enjoy the beautiful tea village while eating.
2:00 p.m. Amanfayun Village (Ānmàn Fǎyún, 安缦法云) (about 1 hour)
Walk along a cobblestone pathway leading to Amanfayun Village, a restored Chinese village dating back hundreds of years and situated in a remote forest of camphor and bamboo. Immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere of the hamlet dotted with traditional dwellings and surrounded by tea fields.
3:00 p.m. Meijiawu Tea Village (Méijiā Wū, 梅家坞) (about 1 hour)
Continue your tour to Meijiawu Tea Village, situated in the rural foothills of the West Lake district. Learn about the production of Xihu Longjing tea, also known as Dragon Well tea. There are many tea houses in the village, and you will have a chance to taste/try the local tea and know how the famer produce the tea and recognize the quality of the Gragon Well tea.
4:00 p.m. Qinghefang Street (Qīnghéfǎng Jiē, 清河坊街) (about 1 hour)
Your final stop is Song Dynasty Imperial Street (a.k.a. Qinghefang Street), walk along this road leads to the imperial palace of the Northern Song Dynasty (AD 960–1127). If you wish, stop at any of the snack bars that offer local delicacies and shops that sell antiques, embroidered items and silk.
5:00 p.m. Return to Hangzhou Railway Station or downtown hotel.
