Very good hotel for a few nights stay. Very friendly staff who would do their best to try and help you. Easy check in with only green code, no need to do COVID test. Nice swimming pool on the 6th floor. Keep in mind that it closes at 9:20-9:30 and don’t forget to bring a swimming cap. The location is not great. There isn’t much around so it was a perfect stay on our road trip. Free parking with lots of parking spaces. Good value for money.

The newly renovated rooms have acceptable internal facilities. But the sound insulation is not good, the single-glazed windows cannot block the noise of vehicles along the street, and the closing of other doors in the corridor is also quite loud. Hotel parking lot is quite big, free parking. The service is not bad.

Stayed at the Sovereign Hotel for three nights and 4 deluxe twin rooms, and then changed to 4 executive twin rooms for three nights. The area is large, the bathroom is large, there is a large square bathtub, the curtains are double-layered electric, the decoration is very new, the breakfast is very exquisite, not too much quality, But the beef bamboo noodles or noodles are ordered casually. It is delicious. I have eaten for many days. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor is very exquisite and delicious. It is better than the Garden Hotel Taoyuan Hall. The price is 1/3. This time I chose Huahe because of participating in the Zhanjiang Mangrove Half Horse Race. It was very close to the place where I took the competition package. It took less than 10 minutes to walk. I couldn’t think of the end point at the sports center (the same place as taking the competition package), so as to avoid the trouble of taking a taxi and other cars. Walk back to the hotel to take a shower and rest directly, and you can postpone your check-out until 2 pm. The most praiseworthy thing is that it is for this marathon. Out of the hotel gate is the blue sea and coconut grove, the beach and blue sky, and the sea view is simply yyds. The landmark of Zhanjiang lying on the sea - the Bay Bridge can be seen clearly. There are two Shopping Malls around, so it is very convenient to eat, shop and go shopping. On the left of the hotel is the Jinshawan Shopping Center, and on the right is the Cosmopolitan Shopping Center. The hotel service is very good. I received a call asking if I had any special needs before I checked in. The first impression was very good. The cleaners on the 39th floor were polite and attentive. When they saw that I was hanging up the washed clothes in the room, they took the initiative to use a vertical mobile drying rack with towels spread underneath, which really warmed my heart. The freshly made handmade fine noodles for breakfast is the signature and tastes good. The female chef is fast and polite, and the service attitude is very good. I flew to Zhanjiang as I wanted. The strategy said it was the best to live in Xiashan District. I chose this newly opened hotel and found that this brand belongs to Ctrip. Although it is a newly opened hotel, there is no peculiar smell. Breakfast is settled in the restaurant on the first floor. There are many tastes and morning tea is the habit of the locals. An additional breakfast is 48 yuan. Unfortunately, there is no automatic coffee machine, but a coffee pot. The airport is only 5-6km away, and the taxi fare is a little over 10 yuan. Free luggage storage is provided. The first and fourth floors lead directly to the Huaduhui shopping mall next door, which is very convenient for eating and shopping.
