Hotels near Marine Blue in Yokohama

A bit dingier than usual rooms at this price point, and missing some of the extra touches (such as paper cups instead of real cups, and only a single packet of coffee in the room), but was suitable and had everything I needed. I would stay again, but would prefer to stay in a little brighter room with the extra touches.

Check in was smooth. The hotel clerk who checked us in was friendly. Check out is self serviced. There are check out kiosks on the ground flr and the 20th flr. The hotel staff told us to check out on the ground flr. But if you planned on storing your luggage at the hotel after check out, you should use the check out kiosk on the 20th. The hotel has WiFi coverage in the entire premises. No telephone in the room (not really necessary anyway), but there is a telephone to the reception on each flr by the elevators. The room itself is new and clean. Toilet is separated from the shower. There is a stand shower and bathtub. Breakfast is good at this price point. 7-11 is on the ground flr right next to the hotel entrance.

I stayed for several nights I didn't think cleaning was necessary, but change of gowns and toothbrushes weren't delivered for several days, so I had to call them every time. I also asked for more instant coffee, which I was happy to receive. All you have to do is request it at the front desk, but it would be helpful if you could get it without asking. It was nice to be able to rent a Dyson hair dryer. I'm also happy that there are fun shops nearby.

26th – 29th August 2023 Yokohama, Japan Mitsui Garden Hotel, Yokohama Some random thoughts / comments regarding our stay as they spring up: - Taxi arrives at G/F, no porter service but guests have to wheel luggage to 20/F to check in - ultra modern hotel, bright & airy, spacious lobby and so new – freshly opened in mid May 2023 - push through glass doors to fully exposed outdoor lounge with sofas and low coffee tables to sit and chill while enjoying a wide stretch of city view through wide glass panels - minimalism theme throughout the reception, lobby and extended to the rooms with clean, light beech minimalistic design - check in smooth and staff even though not the most conversant in English, pose no barriers in carrying out simple conversation - guests are to collect toiletries at a small nook beside the check in desk before heading up to the room--- choice of individually wrapped razor ; toothbrush+ paste ; shower cap; vanity set, comb, Q-tips to put inside a white zip-bloc to bring along to the room for own consumption - all toiletries are displayed bare for guests to take at liberty and every guest feels at ease to take what is needed without any staff there to peep over their shoulder—very generous hotel policy indeed - two bottles of water , tea sachets and drip coffee replenished daily - iron + ironing board provided upon request - the entire hotel, i.e. everywhere smells fresh, everywhere looks bright and clean - bedding and towels all white, fluffy and clean - slippers provided - USB and sockets all well positioned in the room - Telly available and a bottle of room freshener spray provided - shower & bathtub in one enclosed area to save space which in fact is a good and efficient idea to have everything confined to one space - very powerful shower with stable temperature that is easy to adjust - shower area completely watertight so can fully enjoy a nice relaxing shower after a long day and no need to mop the spills afterwards - body gel, shampoo + conditioner all in three separate commercial bottles with dispenser firmly installed onto the wall - big clean panes in room for a nice view overlooking the city and partial harbour - furniture in room is all clean and sofa not sunken, which is one of the advantages of a new hotel - room is not very big but very comfy because everything is very functional while minimalist design gives a contemporary, fuss-free vibe - spacious , bright and clean lobby on 20/F where there is an auto-play piano and there are sofas + reading floor lamps all around the piano, so guests are free to sit and relax with a book or just enjoy the piano when it auto plays at stipulated times - an intimate bar on the other side of the lobby overlooking the pool, but closes before 12am - a gym + pool also on lobby level - a restaurant on lobby floor that serves breakfast - “ Lawsons Convenience Store “ on 2/F, 7-11 and family Mart also close by - Yokohama Cosmo World and Marine Park at walkable distances - Safe, c

This is new property, it has been barely a year after being opened We were impressed contemporary, modern stylish room (love the very comfy bed and automated curtain and blind as you enter at the corner king room ) , Spacious sophisticated club lounge ( all platinum ,titanium and ambassador elite member , this is one of the best lounge I have been to among all properties, not just Japan!) not forgetting great atmosphere and view from highest floor where checking desk is located I have stayed many Marriott properties for years and several properties in Japan by now , among all properties in Japan, this is the absolutely place to be back in Tokyo area Despite the location, not located in middle of Tokyo, still easy access and average 20 to 40min train ride from Tokyo to Yokohama where hotel is located After seeing or staying the property, many will not mind for the train ride. As you might know, it is norm to take train or subway 30 min ride everyday within Tokyo that has been well developed and spread wide range At last, I like to thank you to Ms. Inui who has taken care of checking in and out at club lounge, she is sincere and attentive I have a minor issue on service, but she did communicate well and it did not bother me much after all I believe they will improve service much more in future We had great 3 nights stay at the Brand New Westin in Japan

Good comfortable room size for single person. Bathroom is spacious by Jp standards. If you have many/heavy luggages, there are luggage trolleys which you can get from lobby. There is a very small supermarket on ground floor and a starbucks. Colette Mare shopping mall (~200m away) has a big supermarket at basement, many eateries and local shops e.g. Seria, uniqlo, GU, etc.

羽田空港からバスで３０分くらいで到着です。途中の高速道路からは、横浜ランドマークホテルなどが見えて、壮観でした。バスを横浜駅東口で下車しましたが、終着のワイキャットの方がヒルトン横浜に近いです。横浜駅からKアリーナが見えますが、徒歩で歩いてホテルまでニッサンのビルなどを迂回する必要があります。駅からホテルまでの通路は、まだ、建設中のようです。 新築ホテルで、とても豪華です。エグゼクティブラウンジでチェックインをして、プレミアムルームにアップグレードしてくれました。ラウンジ内のジュース類は、多種類で、珍しいものがたくさんありました。カクテルタイムは、アルコール類はあまり多くなく、また、料理もほとんどありませんでした。 室内からは、正面に川が流れていて、隣のKアリーナのコンサートを見学する人たちが列をなしていました。部屋は３９平米あり、ゆったりできました。室内の装飾も、ホテル全体のアールデコ調と統一されたデザインでした。ひげ剃りなども、他のヒルトンホテルのものとは異なり、上質なものが備わっていました。 夕食は、イタリアンレストランでいただきました。HCPJの２０％割引がありませんが、もともと料理代金が税サービス込みで表示されているので、代金額がわかりやすいです。料理は、上品・繊細な味わいでおいしかったです。 ホテルの従業員さんらは、若い人が多く、おもてなしの気持ちでした。 改善して欲しいことは、つぎの三点です。 ①　横浜駅からホテルまでの通路を早く作ってもらうと、チェックイン・アウト前後の移動時間が短くなっていいと思います。 ②　エグゼクティブラウンジの料理を増やしてもらうと、もっとゆったりとできます。 ③　宿泊代金やホテル内レストラン代金にHCPJ割引の適応をしてもらうと、レストランでの食事などを取りやすくなります。 良くも、悪くも、ほかのヒルトンホテルとは一線を画するホテルであり、新鮮味があります。

For a Daiwa Roynet, I found this hotel a bit disappointing compared to their other hotels. Their other hotels tend to be much more modern in feel and minimalist yet comfortable. This one felt ”old”. Flooring was minimally carpeted so the floor felt hard. Beds were not as comfy as their other hotels. But the rooms seemed larger than normal even for standard rooms. Location is good because it's right on the outskirts of Chinatown and the Yama****a park and station. So from the hotel, accessibility to Yokohama is great.

Stayed for 2 nights. I arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night when I encountered a big traffic jam in Tokyo the weekend before. The room I arranged was so-so. The next day I asked the front desk for an extra 6,000 yen to change to a deluxe room with a king-size bed. It has a lot of space and glass windows It's very big, the fireworks show is great, and the breakfast is also good

ＪＲ利用は関内駅、東急線なら馬車道駅からいずれも５分ほどの距離。馬車道ど真ん中。 レセプションは２Ｆ、チェックインは名前を告げるだけ、すぐにカードキーをくれる。 （今回は神奈川旅割利用だったので身分証など必須） 同時に設備や入浴・朝食時間などプリントした説明書きをくれるので便利。 ロビーにコーヒーマシンあり、２４時まで自由に利用可能、 また電子レンジ、女性用アメニティ・サービスも置かれている。 エレベーターは２基、客室の多さのわりに待たされる印象ない。（階段も利用可能） 部屋鍵はカードタイプ、室内電源もこれで管理。 ワンフロアに内向きと外向きの二層構造、 安いプランだったので内向きのシングルルーム割り当て。 室内は小型のハンガー・チェスト、プレッサー、空気清浄機など設備・アイテムは万全、またデスク回り、入口、冷蔵庫脇、ベッドサイドとコンセントも豊富。 （デスクにマルチＵＳＢ充電機あり） デスク脇に湯沸かしポットと冷蔵庫（空）、ドライヤーが備わった戸棚。 シングルながら大きめサイズのベッドで、枕も２つ置かれているのがうれしい。 Ｗｉ-Ｆｉは全館電波強く、快適な速度が出ていた。（デスクにＬＡＮケーブルもあり）。 大浴場は１１Ｆ、深夜２時まで翌日も１０時までとビジネスユーザーにはうれしい時間設定。 男子更衣室にはランドリー（有料）もあり、入浴中に済ませられる。 朝食は１Ｆレストラン、混雑防止のため、チェックイン時に希望時間を告げる形。 ラストの時間帯を選んだが終了の９時前にはどんどんオカズがなくなっていくのでご注意を。 オーソドックスなビジネスホテルの朝食内容に加え、 お手製（？）の炒め物が２品、サラダ類も５種ほど、 ご飯の付け合わせも７～８種類あり、バラエティに富んでいる。 パンは３種類（この日はトーストなし）、スクランブルエッグやウインナー、ヨーグルトなどもあり、こちらも十分な品揃え、 ビジネスホテルの値段にしては和洋ともにバリエーション豊かな朝食メニュー。 フロアも奥まで席があり、密にならずゆったり座れる。 同じブロックにデイリーマート、まいばすけっとがあり、買い出しも便利。 チェックアウトは自動端末でカンタン、支払いなければ待たずに終わる。 値段とロケーションのバランスを考えるとリピートしてもいい。
