We would like to say a big thanks to all of the staff at the Tong Resort for our short but memorable stay. From a warm welcome to a fond farewell, Tong Resort gives everything you’d hope for. The hardware was all in good working order, the level of cleanliness was excellent and the service is on par or even better than international-level 5-star hotels such as The Ritz-Carlton. Quite outstanding! The hotel reached out to me prior to arrival day for check-in and special occasion arrangements. The hotel has a WeChat private service group where all of your requests can be disseminated at ease; with the nature of our trip being a birthday surprise celebration it was rather effective! The hotel offers private car pick-up service from Yangshuo Railway Station or you may also choose Didi. Upon arrival at Tong Resort, we were presented with welcome drinks, invited to be seated and were promptly escorted to our room. You can tell they have placed a lot of thought into the room features and design; they even embroidered the hotel logo into their bed linen. The hotel offers shuttle car services to and from West Street, this is one of the most famous global streets in China which is a must visit for all Yangshuo travelers. When we arrived back at the hotel, we were spoilt with free late night snacks sent to our room and most importantly the hotel did not forget about the birthday cake which was timely delivered at 00:00. The breakfast by the swimming pool was scrumptious. There is a choice between Asian and Western and you can select as many items as you wish from the menu which in turn gets freshly prepared for you. The team is doing such a good job; although the hotel has only been opened for 2 years, it seems as though the staff as been trained for over 10 years! What’s more, after check out whilst we were waiting at the lobby for Didi, a staff member had the attentiveness to place down glasses of water which she had no obligation for doing. What a nice gesture! At the end, essentially it’s these finer touches that sets a hotel from its counterparts.

This hotel was chosen as I liked that it is children-friendly inside out. We went by Didi from Guilin. The ride was about 1.5h long. Hotel was situated at the end of the road. It is exclusive yet convenient to go out with the bicycle. Beside the hotel is a bicycle/scooter rental shop. Prices are reasonable (bicycle was charged 40rmb for the whole day). There is a very serene cycling track along the river. You can ask the friendly staff for direction. There are restaurant options within 500m radius. In general meals are quite expensive in Guilin/Yangshuo (about 150rmb for three). Hotel provides delicious meals with comparable prices. Housekeeping was done well and hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The staff can help to arrange for car rides and help to purchase entrance tickets at discounted prices. I would recommend to take their car to attraction sites because such places are quite remote and it is almost impossible to find a Didi there and back. We had the family room, facing the river. Noise cancellation was ok. We just didnt like that the neighbours were slamming their doors and other tourists were loud. Anyway, the room itself was neat and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and they provided a stepper and a toddler toilet seat which were perfect for our little boy. The couch was quite a disappointment. It has no support and we dread sitting on it after a long day out. And we felt that it would be nice to have a cabinet to put out clothes instead of living out of suitcases. The hotel facilities are exceptional though! You can borrow fishing equipments to fish by the river. They provide football and bows and arrows for kids to play at the big field. There is a sandpit, an indoor and an outdoor playground, an outdoor pool, an area with chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and fresh vegetables and i think you could also ask to use their bbq pits. We had a great eight days at this hotel and would highly recommend it :)

We booked two nights but ended up staying for a whole week!!! The staff are truly amazing and went out of their way to make sure we the most comfortable stay. Vincent was amazing from the time we booked to the day we left. He arranged airport pickup and drop off. He arranged for us ,every morning, places we could visit and made all the necessary bookings which saved long queues. He even made good bargains on tickets. The girls were amazing too unfortunately I can’t remember their Chinese names. They were always very courteous and just something about everyone at that hotel(cooks and cleaners as well) that just makes you feel at home. One day I lost my phone but Vincent it took upon himself and did everything possible until I had it back. He didn’t have to but he did. Our stay was so relaxed. Location wise this hotel is right in the center of most of the major scenic spots in Yangshuo. On good days you could take a walk there. Unfortunately the time we were there it was very hot so the hotel would offer take us to scenic spots. The meals are the most deliciously cooked Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. They didn’t have any foreign options for breakfast but the food served was good enough. There’s always a steady supply of fruits at the front desk that we really enjoyed especially after walking in the heat. The view from the rooftop is splendid. You can see the Yulong river(3minutes walk away) and the Hongnong bridge. The rooms were the biggest I found around the area. Our 16month old baby had enough space to play with his toys and play ball. The bathroom and toilet are separate. If I ever came back to Yangshuo this would be the place for me. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was recommended by a friend. The staff are very responsible and friendly. It also protects guests very well, giving them a sense of security! It was my first time to come to Yangshuo and I was full of nostalgia for this place because of the store. The hotel has a generous design, simple wooden style, and a comfortable and warm stay. Needless to say, the surrounding environment is quite good. It is located in the center of the scenic spot, with the Yulong River on the left and the big banyan tree on the right. There is an Internet celebrity cart at the door where you can check in and take photos along the path. Go shopping on West Street in the evening to experience the charm of the historical and cultural city. I came here in a hurry, but I haven’t had enough fun yet. If I have a chance, I’ll bring my family to play again!

Excuse me! Late to comment! This is the most intimate and warm-hearted hotel I have ever stayed in. Every detail reflects the dedication and love of the lady in the store to the Range Rover Pavilion. It's all the young lady who helped carry the salute upstairs. I really couldn't bear to see it. I have stayed in many hotels and B&Bs. Only the Range Rover Pavilion has a deep sink for washing clothes. It separates the cooling area in the bath room. The roof has a viewing terrace, tea table, washing machine, cooling area, laundry detergent, laundry Powder; toiletries are also very high-grade, do not remember what brand. Too many compliments to express how much we love the Range Rover! Directly on the picture, everyone see it for yourself. To tell you the truth, the photos of Ctrip's online store seem to be relatively old Chinese-style furniture. The actual scene is brighter, and the real thing is much better than the photo, and it has a great texture! We also compared the surrounding hotels on the spot, the most cost-effective, the most popular is the Range Rover Pavilion! The surrounding stores also spoke highly of these foreign girls: they are very supportive, and they are very attentive to the Range Rover Pavilion... It is really rare that they have been recognized by their peers. The breakfast was delicious! The farmhouse food directly opposite the hotel introduced by the boss, the beer sword bone fish is delicious! 👍 Strongly recommend! Regarding transportation, we took the battery car from Yangshuo Wharf and then turned to the tricycle. Yangshuo is not easy to call a car. The black car is expensive. Fortunately, there are electric bicycles rented at the entrance of the hotel, and the price is very real! It takes about 30 minutes to ride from the inn to West Street. It is very close to the Yulong River. There are several dams on the Yulong River from the Gongnong Bridge. The inn rides to Ruyi Peak for about 40+ minutes. I personally think it is worth going. The boss helps to book and has a discount. Speaking of the room, we stayed for three nights in the balcony room on the 4th floor. The top floor has a good view. The disadvantage is that we have to climb the stairs. There are 2 beds of 1.5 meters. 2 people have a bed of no pressure. The air conditioner is the new Gree's top floor. It is also completely awkward. The room is not bad. Although the bathroom is really a bit small, there is no smell in general. Regarding eating, the inn needs to be booked in advance. We didn't eat it on this trip, but there are many restaurants in the village, including a big net red. Finally, the lack of one is that the layout of our room balcony feels not as good as the next door. The privacy is not very good, but the view may be better. In addition, the hot water machine on the roof will be noisy. Fortunately, it is not always working at night. The hotel is clean and hygienic. The most touched is the proprietress, being modest and enthusiastic. We had a feeling of going home when we first arrived in Yangshuo! The boss is also very good! Very suitable for parents and children, the hotel room has Lego, floor mats, pony, the baby is playing, the anti-collision facilities, the children's bathrobes, the children's toothbrushes, etc. are very intimate. The photos taken by the hotel are really the best in this trip to Yangshuo. The room is very good, and the eyes of Yangshuo on the eighth floor are even more invincible. The breakfast was slightly simple, the hotel was exempted from the order, and because the baby took a nap, the check-out was delayed for more than an hour for free.
