Pros: 1) Location right beside train station and bus station. 2) Many eateries around the hotel 3) Room is clean and spacious Cons: 1) No aircon. I know it is cool during summer in Xining as well but i think it is a basic requirement for aircon in a hotel. A fan is provided but i think it is not a welcome sight for a hotel with a fan.

This is a nice hotel. For a foreigner the check in felt a little intense in comparison to other places, but they are very friendly and efficient. Rooms are nice but no air con if you need it! They also have some free local snacks to try along with free water. The receptionists are all helpful too when we had a couple of questions. Only stayed one night, but the hotel was great, the staff were helpful, and the ginger tea they give as a welcome drink was lovely. Comfy bed and hot shower are always great. The little toiletries were good quality as well. While I may not go back to Xining again, I would definitely stay at a Hampton by Hilton again. 😀
