Best Hotels with Gym in Xining

The hotel is beautiful, the room is elegant and nice, and we had a surprise to have a robot bring us at the door the delivery package. They were flexible with the check-in time which was much needed. However, the reception stuff wasn't polite, she asked my husband to wear his mask in an angry way and the check-in lasted an eternity as the lady didn't accept our green codes and she asked us to register again(very unnecessary). The stuff attitude made us decide not to book again when we return to Xining although the hotel itself is great.

Great hotel situated nearby the Wanda mall and Tangdao walking street. I was impressed with how stunning the hotel is and pre-arrival experience was really remarkable. It is according to what I expected from Sofitel Hotel; however, my experience this time didn't reach my expectation. First, I was asked to pay CNY99 in order to use the swimming pool even if I already said that I was staying there. Second, the air-conditioner was not cool enough. I asked the staff to help me adjust it, but it seemed not work well. I slept with sweating all night. Lastly, I asked concierge to recommend me where I could find the night walking street and street food, but the answer I got was to search the word ”Tangdao” by myself. This is unacceptable. I wouldn't expect concierge to just provide me this simple answer. I can even do that by myself. What was the point from seeking for the recommendation from concierge? I have seen that one of them even got Les Clefs d'Or so that I expected the whole team to provide me something beyond my expectation. Please consider this issue. Thank you very much.

The facilities and equipment are very complete, but they are a bit outdated. The room is a little cold in winter. I asked for heating or heating the next day, but I said there was no. I took it after staying for four days, and overall it's not bad.

The location is good but the hotel needs some work on the facilities. The taps in the bathroom sink were dirty and were not smooth (either very little water or a lot of force). The carpets also could do with a good clean. The breakfast was ok though with some chinese and western food. Not many choices but enough to fill you up.

Only stayed one night, but the hotel was great, the staff were helpful, and the ginger tea they give as a welcome drink was lovely. Comfy bed and hot shower are always great. The little toiletries were good quality as well. While I may not go back to Xining again, I would definitely stay at a Hampton by Hilton again. 😀

It is necessary to enrich the reserves in this area and improve the competitiveness of the hotel. After all, it is important to attract customers to stay after it has actually done a good job. Gym: The top floor, I didn't go to see it, you can go if you are interested Wedding banquets can be held, and there are corresponding floors. Room odor: no smell at all, fresh air. It would be better if there were green plants. Summary: It is more suitable for business scenarios and guests who need to relieve fatigue.

I will start off by saying that the room and bathroom were well appointed, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. However, whilst the room was generally clean, when I dropped something that subsequently rolled under a fitted unit, I was pretty disgusted to see the dust and filth beneath it. It clearly had not been cleaned for…well…ever? I appreciate that these areas will not be as clean as the more visible parts of the room, however for a five star hotel, this is unacceptable. I do not expect to find dirty tissues and a thick layer of dust and dirt anywhere in my hotel room. But by far the absolute worst part of my stay was the inability to control the temperature in the room whatsoever. The room was so swelteringly hot that despite the comfortable bed, and everything to go with it, I was almost unable to sleep at all. I do not expect this in a five star hotel(and have never experienced it other than here and at anther Wanda hotel in Hohhot), I pay for luxury; controlling the room temperature is a basic requirement that I can even do in a 50 yuan a night hostel dorm. When I asked the staff at reception the following morning I was told the AC wouldn’t be available until after April 15th because ‘it’s cold outside’. Firstly, I am not sleeping outside, I am sleeping inside, on the 22nd floor, where it is anything but cold. Not to mention it was April, not January, even in Xining it is not that cold. Secondly, as a paying guest, in a five star hotel, it should be up to me to decide if it is hot or cold, not the hotel. For this reason, as lovely as the room, staff and breakfast may have been, I would not stay here again. I checked out and moved to the lower rated Hilton, where I could control the room temperature and actually managed to sleep…generally what the whole point of a hotel is.

The Sebel Apartments are integrated into the Sofitel of Xining. It was a good place to stay and the rooms were spacious for us as family. The hotel also has a good indoor pool with good water and room temperature. The pool area was clear and well maintained. The breakfast was very good and a great charger for our daily trips around Xining. Only con in our stay was the high temperature in the room overnight. The AC was not on heating but the room was very warm (24 degrees) and the air was very dry. Sleeping was not easy then but it could maybe have been a malfunction.

After all, it is a veteran hotel, the location, hotel facilities and services are nothing to say, the breakfast is also very rich, and there are pizzas that kids love. If you don't want to have breakfast at the hotel, there are many small restaurants in Jia Xiaoxiang next to the hotel. We had lunch and breakfast there. Both restaurants tasted good. Parking is also very convenient, you can park directly at the door of the hotel, and there is also a scheduled shuttle bus to the airport, which is particularly convenient for travel. The hotel is not far from the Xining TV Tower, so you can take some night scenes when you have time at night. There is also a free park next to the hotel, called Qilin Bay Park. The scenery is quite unique, a bit of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River.
