Howard Johnson Pearl Plaza Wuhan

Yanjiang Avenue /Jianghan Road Wuhan|2.36km from Wuche Fresh Food Market (Zhaojiadun Community Southwest)
First off, I want to say that the housekeeping department was wonderful. They were not only great cleaners but they were also very thoughtful about checking when we would be out of the room during the day if they happened to show up when we were there. A few other things that were great about the hotel: the spectacular location (it's near so many great restaurants in a very walkable area), the big empty swimming pool with a view of the city, the generosity with face masks, and all staff seemed well trained in hospitality... So it breaks my heart that our arrival at the hotel so completely marred our stay. When my kids and I walked into the hotel one of the staff--I'm afraid I didn't catch her name in my shock, but I believe she was the manager on duty--grabbed a handful of gloves and handed them to us as we were still struggling to pull out all the green codes required of us (we were told to show two codes initially and then later would go through many more codes in a quest to see which would be accepted). She started the conversation by asking if we were leaving and when we said we were checking in, she asked to see the tracing app and immediately declared all the places we had been to as dangerous (the app was green and there were no asterisks at that point, I would later gain an asterisk thanks to being in Wuhan). They were not. We had travelled carefully, tracking the news of outbreaks and did our best to avoid all dangerous locations and crowds. We explained this to her and walked her through every place on our trip that we had been, but she refused to accept any of this. She kept insisting everywhere we had been was dangerous. It didn't matter to her how many green codes we had. We were foreigners that had come to Wuhan from a city in Jiangsu, taking a route that travelled near provinces where there were COVID-19 cases, and that meant we were dangerous. I want to be sympathetic. People in Wuhan had a much worse 2020 than anyone else in China. I can only imagine how terrifying it must be to have another significant outbreak a year later (we further had the bad luck of arriving in Wuhan on the same day as new cases). The hotel staff gave us a free fruit plate and they gave my daughter a stuffed animal, which she adored. But I was also travelling alone with two kids who were so traumatized by the experience (they were worried that we would be taken to a hospital or quarantine center and separated for who-knows-how-long) that they initially refused to eat dinner and still talk about the experience a week later (it didn't help that they noticed a Chinese guest arrive and check in without a face mask while we were still being interrogated with gloves and masks on and waited for a doctor to come and clear us). When the kids finally did decide they would eat, so long as we didn't leave the hotel, we discovered there was no longer ocean fish or seafood on the menu because of the virus which was interesting because we would find plenty of places outside the hotel that still offered salmon. Later when we tried to go to the Thai restaurant in the ball, we were told it was not open to us because of COVID-19 restrictions even though two lovely ladies who looked shocked to see us in the elevator were welcomed in. I assume there was some small private engagement or meeting that wasn't open to the public as there was no information anywhere that said the hotel restaurant was closed to the public. So I am divided on my feelings on this hotel. I want to believe it is a well run hotel and we were just unlucky to arrive on the wrong day. I can't really see myself staying here again if I return to Wuhan. My kids and I didn't really feel welcome here.

Jiangnan Genxing Hotel

How to describe this hotel Niu ah Niu ah is no longer enough to describe my mood, really, eternal god! I planned this trip to Wuhan with my good friend. The first day I stayed at a certain internet celebrity hotel on the riverside really made me feel uncomfortable, so the next day I stayed at another business hotel that made me feel very, very comfortable. The last one The one that stood was the Unistar Hotel, which can only be described as stunning. First of all, this hotel seems to be newly built in recent years (it seems), so the interior and facilities of the hotel lobby to the room are very new! Love it all! The young lady at the front desk was also very gentle (also told me where my takeaway is hhh), the whole hotel is not too high, we live on the second floor, the door of the room is very heavy and feels very safe! The whole room is very big, with 35 square meters. As soon as the door opened, I was shocked, a whole wall of floor-to-ceiling windows! One whole side! wok! The curtains sensed automatically and opened slowly, and then I, a countryman, shed tears of shock (no) We booked a twin room. The mattress was soft but not too soft. It won't sink all over, and it won't be very hard. So are the pillows! (My friend fell asleep directly by touching the bed, and then woke up and said it was really comfortable and laughed hard) There are panels on both sides of the bed to control the lights. There are many kinds of headlights and small lights, as well as the opening and closing of the curtains, which is very convenient. It is worth mentioning that the lights at the door and toilet seem to be auto-sensing, so if you forget to turn off the light at the door while lying in bed, wait patiently for a while and then turn it off by itself. It is very suitable for lazy people like me (remember The kind that is not good). The air conditioner is Gree central air conditioner, and the hair dryer is Phillips. They are all new! There are also many charging ports, so don’t worry about grabbing the charging ports. The room is carpeted and very comfortable. I walked around barefoot hahaha. There is a non-slip mat in the bathing area in the toilet, and the toiletries are embedded in the wall, not a shelf! Very clean! The provided shampoo, shower gel and conditioner are all very useful! Xiangxiang! The best thing is the bath towel. I feel it is two meters thick. It looks good in quality. The towel is also big. The toilet is smart! There is also an oversized table, and the whole shop of KFC is enough for the whole shop! I have stayed in a lot of hotels, homestays, and all price ranges. I have stayed at the seaside and riverside roads (because I often scurry! (not)) Jiangnan Genstar Hotel really does not lose a stake in it, friends! Which one does not start at 500 yuan when changing to the old first-tier cities? ? What kind of motorcycle do you want here in your early 300s! ! ! Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, a five-minute walk from the view of the Yangtze River. You can easily see the Yangtze River just by walking out of the door. It’s only away from Metro Line 2 (Jiyuqiao Station). It is 1.5km. If you don't want to walk, it is very convenient to have a small bicycle at the entrance of the hotel. There is a Lawson at 340m. You can also order huge and delicious snail noodles for takeout! And the surroundings are very quiet at night, the whole person is very relaxing! Loved love! Yes, a little improvement suggestion: ①Can the deposit be charged a little less hahahaha a little bit more. ②It is recommended to add a sill in the bathing compartment. When bathing, the water will easily flow out to the washing place. But the flaws are not concealed! I hope you can do better and better! Keep a clean, tidy and comfortable environment! I also hope that the travellers who read my comment can choose Jiangnan Genstar Hotel without any hesitation. Really, it's not a loss to invest in shares! ——A sincere suggestion from a sincere traveler who writes a small composition at two o'clock in the middle of the night ❤️

Taohualin Hotel

Yellow Crane Tower/Wuchang Railway Station Wuhan|2.87km from Wuche Fresh Food Market (Zhaojiadun Community Southwest)
The location of the hotel is easy to find. A few hundred meters away is Crab Cape, the subway entrance, and the starting point of Fenghuang Mountain Bus Station. There are also many buses, making it convenient to go anywhere. The lady at the check-in desk told me that the room had been upgraded. The room was on a high floor and was very nice. You can see the Yellow Crane Tower, Yangtze River Bridge, etc. The room is very clean, there is no peculiar smell, and fruits are given as a gift. The hotel's air conditioning is very good, and it's cool when you come back from playing. There are a lot of places to eat near the hotel. It is very close to Tanhualin and there are a lot of places to eat there. The barbecue opposite the hotel is pretty good, you can have a late night snack, and the noodle shop opposite looks small and tastes pretty good. It’s also very convenient to order takeaway from the hotel. The aunt who cleans every day is very dedicated and replenishes the consumables in a timely manner. If I hadn’t planned to go back to my hometown of Xiaogan in the next few days, I might have stayed in this hotel. I will definitely stay here next time. It is also very close to Husha Lake Park, the second largest park in Wuhan. There are many lotus flowers there, so I went to visit it. The only thing I want to complain about is that the traffic in Wuhan has too many weird roads. Either you can't turn left or you can't turn right, and it's obviously a long circle on the opposite side of the street.

Hanyi Chain Hotel Wuhan Hubei University

Xudong Commercial Zone/Hubei University
Next to the hotel is a school, very noisy, sound insulation is not very good. Secondly, this hygiene, yellow stains on the quilt cover, I don't know what it is, it was already night and I didn't go to the front desk. Another important point is that there is no disposable toilet cover! ! ! This is very important and I hope it can be equipped. There was also a stairwell full of sheets, and it was placed directly in the stairwell. I stayed for two nights and kept throwing it on the ground. No one cares. The front desk was still more humane. I went to the exam and was busy packing things. It was also reasonable to put the front desk.

The location is great! It is opposite Hubei University on Youyi Avenue and has convenient transportation. The bus station is next to the subway. One of the two subway stations is Hubei University Station on Youyi Avenue Line 7 and the other is Sanjiao Road Station on Line 5 of Heping Avenue. The environment of the store is very good, clean and tidy, comfortable and safe, the room facilities are complete, the air conditioning is powerful, the hot and cold water is moderate, the flow is sufficient, the service is in place, responsive to all requests, and warm-hearted, it feels like home, it is a good business trip!
Xingqi Apartment

Although the apartment is in the community opposite Hubei University, the navigation can directly reach the Wangjiawan community at the traffic light on Xueyuan Road. It is very easy to find the Xingqi Apartment. The uncle and aunt are very charitable people. They have been taking me to the room and told me that there are takeaway addresses in the room. Wifi and front desk phone details. Attentive and thoughtful, the room is very warm, the quilt is very clean and tidy, the sun is dry and natural, it is very comfortable to fall asleep, and the bathroom is very clear. There are many delicious barbecue night markets downstairs, surrounded by schools, not far from the two subway stations (5.7 Line), so convenient. I feel that the environment and service are really good after I have lived, so I like it, recommend it to everyone, and I will definitely come next time.
